If possible, make a video talking about different leathers and explaining the advantages of horsehide or goat, for example. Maybe you'll show all the types of leather that you offer as standard in a video, so it might be easier to decide which ones people would like. And please continue with the videos, I like it very much

Love your stories about vintage leather jackets! I ordered a Kensington recently myself, can't wait!! I've had 2 previous leather jackets and they just couldn't hold up

    Nice videos Dave.
what I would like you to do a video on is jacket customizations.
For example the internal pocket on the imperial is close to the facing.
Could you do that type of pocket on a Canuck or on an Heron.
What other kinds of design tweaks have you seen and liked.
I agree with Albert Jaeger's comment. A deep dive into leathers would be great.
Im not hard on my jackets some maybe having one in goat would be pretty cool, though horse is too amazing for words

Can you explain and show the advantage of cotton thread versus others? And how to get it repaired? I know there are some, but it’s hard to know because it’s weaker and needs to be restitched.

Could you please talk about what goes into sleeve design and arm mobility? I know you've covered it in some videos but it would be interesting to see how different designs compare side by side.

Another great video David. I’d like to see you wearing the jackets you discuss. Alternately, some still photos of folks wearing them. It would be helpful to know more about each style in terms of how they fit different body types.

Amazed with your work, been a fan since I saw your featured on a blog in the early to mid 2010s. Awesome how much love you pour into leather jackets.
Regarding your past in vintage clothing, do you think there is still a market for what you did (i.e. trade vintage) or has it left the city? I know you dealt mostly international but I am thinking of starting a vintage and contemporary luxury clothing shop in Toronto/online. Any advice would be much appreciated :) thanks! Tim

The truth is there will always be a market for vintage but vintage becomes whatever is available in some sort of way so now vintage is early 2000s and 1990s hip hop and Pokemon shirts and Anime stuff the question really would be is there a market for really well made things stylish classical things and in some way people with Brands like me have somehow filled that Gap will my stuff one day be considered vintage I don't know but it will definitely be considered really high quality if it shows up in a charity store.

Great point thanks your your response. I value quality and craft and though Pokémon cards hold a small part of my heart I suppose it doesn’t translate well to my menswear taste! :) I appreciate you taking the time and I know your pieces will be vintage (if the owners don’t pass em down thru the generations!)

What size needle do you use?

You mentioned Talon cotton-taped zippers, while authentic, not being the best zipper choice in some cases. In your opinion, if you were going to design a heritage piece with the toughest, most long-lasting zipper, which would you choose? Waldes? Crown? Serval? Others? I know you did a previous video on Talon zipper tape dyeing, but I'd be very interested in a in-depth review of the pros and cons of other brands.
