Nice I'm just getting into figs just wondering I sit out two fig trees this week brown turkey and Celeste it's going down to 22 tonight they are about three ft tall do I need to cover them tonight
I have a Little Miss Figgy in Midatlantic 7a, and it is growing really well and producing decently at 3 full years in the ground. I have been pruning more or less in accordance with these instructions, but I picked a multi-truck shrub style that I cut back to 4' tall trunks every winter (best one has a bit of shelter next to a fence) rather than this recycling thing. I keep the base pruned all season for air flow. I did not tip the stems previously, but I'm debating trying it this year.
In a sense you’re a real figboss,so much healthy plants &new idea’s 🎉.
iirc he said he likes persimmons more (taste wise).
Great advice for keeping fig trees small. I have a brown turkey fig tree in the UK and I will keep it small with your advice.
Great video!
I am new to fig trees and wish I understood what and where you are taking the cut from. If you could show it on the video it would help a lot. Thanks
Did you ever do an update on the tea plant?
Do you recommend topping the stems? I’ve heard this makes them more productive

What's this little miss figgy strain? Is it worth anything?
