I agree. This band never really blows me out of the water but I always enjoy listening to them. If you ever get the chance to see them live though, don't miss it they put on a wild show.
My wife who somewhat enjoys deathcore (more of a metalcore fan) LOVED the machine gun blast beats in the final breakdown of this song! I loved every bit of it! Definitely been replaying the hell out of this song for awhile now! Absolutely obsessed/in love with it!
I like that David Simonich is branching out a bit vocally. My only complaint about this band has been how he's overused tunnel throat vocals. I don't hate tunnel screams or anything, but when they make up the vast majority of your vocals, it can get a bit annoying because there's no annunciation and it just starts to sound like an extra layer of noise placed over the rest of the song. But he mixed up his vocal delivery on this one, and I think he's doing a better job of actually sounding like he's saying words when he does use the tunnel throat approach. The music has always been killer, but if he keeps mixing it up here and there like he did in this song, I think it will take SotS to a whole new level of awesome
The new Mental Cruelty is awesome, the new Worm Shepherd is awesome, and if you haven't checked out Better Lovers yet, you should. Greg from Dillinger Escape Plan, Will from Fit for an Autopsy, and 3 members (including Jordan Buckley) from Every Time I Die. First song is fucking killer.
Although Disfigurement of Existence is without a doubt the best album they've ever put out and can’t be topped, probably the top 3 in deathcore, I really enjoy this song.
I want to agree that there's too much of the "blackened" deathcore going on... but I just seem to love almost all of it; so really, I'm feeding the trend. 😅
Do not want anyone to get offended. I didn't much like this song (again this is my take, and my take doesn't make sense for everyone. Signs Of The Swarm is a killer band). I was expecting you to do new Mental Cruelty, it is killer.
Not for me. The chorus riff is nice, but the rest of the song is just what deathcore has been for the last 5 or 6 years. Chugs, obligatory fast and techy section, more chugs, garbled and guttural vocals. No thanks. I miss when deathcore had riffs and variety.
That’s what I’m saying, when Jeff was their guitarist they had so many killer riffs, slams, and groovy sections, I think for now absolvere is peak signs but this song with the new guitarist is just 0’s and no real riffs
@@joshyboy9754 I'm gonna have to give that album a look. I really love deathcore, but I hate what the scene has turned into. Don't get me wrong, not hating on the bands that play this style or the people that like it, it's just not for me. Fit For an Autopsy, Thy Art is Murder, Carnifex and Whitechapel (even though they're more progressive now, I still think they're deathcore) are all that's keeping riff-y deathcore alive.
That final breakdown 😮
The machine gun blastbeats, the chugs and on top of that David is completely going rampage with his vocals
Just nasty
For me this is what it should be like. The song is brutal but still catchy and the breakdown goes hard 🎶 love this song and the band
Song had been on repeat since it’s dropped!!!
Exacto bro jajaja😅
Signs bringing the heat!! Can't wait for the new album! 🔥🔥
Amen to that lol
Your pfp kills me the most yo lmfao! 🤣😂😭
i do think this ones kinda their best work
Me too man, I can't won't stop listening to it. It's a fuckin banger for sure
We have not heard enough of this deathcore. We need moar!
You’re a good dude
Just caught this live on Tuesday with Archspire and Whitechapel and was blown away with SoTS live. They felt huge. Keep up the great work man!
Saw them too with Whitechapel and Archspire. Great show.

Reminded me of after the burial mixed with infant annihilator but New After the Burial? Death keeps us from living? Had me intrigued

Awesome song!
I seen them play this live for the first time in Atlanta, it was fuckin awesome!

Yeah the thing is they're not even that same band anymore. Every OG member is gone at this point.
@@ascendancy4900 I heard about that
David is good but his highs compared to CJ are meh
This song gets the sperm cells FLOWIN!
💀💀this right here
That last part hits right 🥴👌🏻

Saw these guys live with Whitechapel last Wednesday. They’re so good!

Call me biased, but I think Josh Schroeder producing this really had a big deal to do with how good it is.
the entire last minute of this song is STRAIGHT IGNORANT.

Song is a total banger. Loud as F at my house.
New track just dropped *Tower of torsos*
