Do you still have these? Have you acquired another set or two? Have you seen what they are currently selling for still new?!!! New Egg have them for $195 new! Amazon has them for $299 These are amazing! Thanks for your “opinion,” much appreciated 🙏
@@dickydoesaudio3466 when I was trying to decide I did a blind listen to them in the demo room...I wanted to choose without any influence. So I gave them a listen on the same song same settings same everything and I chose the 160M, it sounds more like a M onitor than a bookshelf I guess thats what M stands for? IF you're thinking of mounting these up on the wall, Crutchfield has a nice clamp mount for about 60 bucks , If you do not secure this speaker it will wiggle out any mount and crash to the floor. My clamp mount has 2 tiny screws you screw in to the sides of each speaker they may go in 1/8 of an inch..IF you remove them wood putty and black paint will fix it like new, but those are the best clamps I've found..With some jerry rigging and adding lots of washers you can get some serious tilt too from thes mounts but it sounds so good coming down from up high
I think the jbl's have a little more detail and aren't as bright as the Klipsch. Although these Klipsch speakers aren't very bright at all, thats a major step in the right direction from klipsch IMO. I would take the jbl's over the klipsch Personally. I actually liked the jbl's enough to buy 3 studio 570's to use as my front speakers in my theater room.
It's all about the horn for me between these two..The klipsch have a tractrix titanium dome tweeter, and the jbl's have a compression driver with a wave guide. So even though they're both horn loaded speakers they still sound a bit different
Hello. For 350euro or $ 380 I bought yesterday rp600m and this model rp160m I can have. for 280e. or 300 $. I have rp260f in the same color as rp160m. whole set clipsch and Svs 7.1.2. $ 300 is tempting. Great game with svs sb2000 sub. Regards
I haven't had the opportunity to listen to the rp600m, but I can say that the rp160 is a fantastic speaker. If you are wanting to keep your speakers the same color, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the rp160m. Jut my thoughts. I'm sure whatever way you go, you'll be happy.
I'm not sure. They came with a pair of speakers i bought off of craigslist. They are nice, probably weigh about 10 lbs a piece... There's no sand or any filling in them
I did a blind test of the 600 and 160, thats how I decided I chose the 160..They are incredible
Right now NewEgg has them on sale in a shell shocker for 195
I have the 160m and also have tested the 600m and the elac debut and the 160m win in my book everytime
I have the RP 600's and they are amazing: Thanks for the review

Do you lile your JBL 530s more than these Klipschs or the rp-600m?
