Hi JDMWorld avid fan here from CH, i just bought my Klipsch RP600M and this speaker is awesome! I’m planning to replace my old Yamaha RX471 AVR with a wireless AVR system with at least 7.2 channel. Any recommendation on your part at $1500 max budget (at least 3 recommendation)? Appreciate if you can spend some time to respond on my message :) Thank you and more power to your channel! Cheers🍻
Hi JDM World, thanks for your response 🙂 What i’m planning is to replace my AVR system. A new one that equipped with wireless connection such as Bluetooth and wifi. So that i can link my handphone wirelessly. The question is, what AVR would you suggest that best fit to RP600M?
What if the tweeter is below ear level? Mine are when sitting on the couch. I've read that these work best at with the tweeter at or even above ear level.
This video could have been much shorter. Just plug them in.....they sound amazing already! Just kidding.....yes the sub helps but they sound great right out of the box.
Proper toe in is absolute critical, I agree. The number of folks that don’t do this is pretty high. These ‘common sense’ suggestions go a very long way for the lay person.
Why bother getting a pair of full range speakers only to muddy them with a big dirty sub? I listen to bass heavy music and my rp-160m are perfect for it, the bass rolls right under you and is crisp and clear, the way you want it to be.
Get the 280f to get to the next level add a rhythmik sub or build a Dayton ultimax to get to the next level above that. And ffs, get a laid back amp like Yamaha to play the Klipsch. If you use a bright receiver like Denon it's gonna not sound very good.
No way ! it all takes up too much space ! take RP-280f, 28F, 8000F or 820F and you don't need this subwoofer plus this furnished foot which takes the place of a single column. it's logical and practical.
HA! I know a beautiful 'Salamander Design' audio rack when I seez it (O: My former landlord bought one, and I ordered one for my neighbor's system. Great stuff...........oh, and so are the Klipsch bookshelves. !!
@@JilesMcCoy Well, just keep the hardware tight, and you can always touch up little nicks and such with the available stain markers to keep it looking new. (Klipschorn and Reference Premier 280F owner here)
Toe-in on speakers? That's the most ridiculous thing ever in my opinion once you take into account fluid/aero dynamics and realize how a speaker moves and alters the density of the air. Basically just like with a TV that you have a viewing angle, there is also a thing as listening angle. Some speakers are designed to be indeed pointed towards a single listener like studio monitors, but I never ever heard about someone applying that in a livingroom product. 🤷♂️
Alert the media -- a fancy powered sub with a four-figure price tag will make a pair of modest little bookshelf speakers from Best Buy® sound much better. What a revelation! :-)
You are right did the Klipsch will sound better with a sub but number one you have to sand filled stands for good bass response number two you need real power to drive them speaker. Not some AV receiver. If you don't know what you're talkin about don't make UA-cam videos because you have a camera
Why do you say "real power"? These are extremely efficient at 96db and would sound great with a 10w tube amp. You do NOT need a lot of power to make these sound good.
Idk if this would count as more power, but, back before I learned much, I just had my nice average 7.1 Onkyo txnr avr bi amped to the rp280f towers. No matter what there's dynamics, but I couldn't get bass . I figured 2 x 8 inch woofers, I don't get it. 4 years later I'm running the same rp280s but with a pioneer elite lxsc 701, bi amped using built in crossovers in the elite, but I now understand why they said it would be a perfect match, going from a much less powerful a/b class amp AVR to a class d3 amp . It retains a massive amount of power compared to an a/b amp AVR so if you increase 3db, 6db at 63hz in the equalizer, it actually has the efficiency to provide any amount of bass increase . Obviously they aren't rp600s , but the same example applies and it's insane that I can forget that my rp115 is off . Basically, pioneer elite bought me , adding bass to any Klipsch speakers 5.25in or larger lol. Good stuff. I'm sure these 600 bookshelves would have a great deal of headroom to equalize any reasonable bass needed with a similar series AVR and bi amped using it's crossover capabilities. I don't know why many others have not discussed the class d3 / Klipsch benefit.. I do wonder what the sub is though.
They sound even better if you hook them up to an amp. 😄
I will try that next time!
🤭 hehe snort hehe

@@suncai Hi Denny - Do you mean the towers that I had before? I replaced my Definitive Towers with the RP-600M and the Starke Sub. Do you have a budget for your new speakers? What will they be used for? How big is the room?
Maybe sell them and buy floor standing speakers instead, RP-8000F on sale are the same price.
Thanks! Your living room with wood floor must have a lot of echo.
There is rug on most of it but the room does need treatments on the walls. I will get to that one day! If I only had unlimited money! (That would make these speakers sound better too!)
Cool video
Thanks!
Toeing the 600m’s might make them sound brighter.
Right on!
Just discovered you and really enjoyed your video!👌 #Subscribed
Thank you!
Would the 600’s be fine in my home office? 10x10? I thinking adding a new play station to my 2014 Samsung 34 inch TV. I want to drive fast like a madman! Even though I’m old and slow in reality! 🤣
I think they would be great!
gr research Klipsch 600M Sounds Good upgrade mod easy to do crossover upgrade kit
Very cool’
see his video hugsfrom Las Vegas wheelchair larry
I have those same stands and they blow the kantos out of the water! Got the Kanto first and couldn't believe the crappy quality and look
The 600M do sound great!
Excellent Professional Review
Thanks!
Appreciate if you can spend some time to respond on my message :)
Thank you and more power to your channel! Cheers🍻
Hi - WHat needs to be wireless? Just the surround speakers?
Hi JDM World, thanks for your response 🙂
What i’m planning is to replace my AVR system. A new one that equipped with wireless connection such as Bluetooth and wifi. So that i can link my handphone wirelessly. The question is, what AVR would you suggest that best fit to RP600M?
The ideal height for stands with the RP-600M while in the sitting position is 24 inches.
I think I just heard a Voice of Reason!!! :-)
What if the tweeter is below ear level? Mine are when sitting on the couch. I've read that these work best at with the tweeter at or even above ear level.
@@Joshsmoove My preference is to get the tweeter as on axis as possible at ear level.
It depends on how tall your seat or sofa is as well
Nice tips
It's works great with a klipsch woofer !!!!!
Excellent!
That sub would make any system sound better.
This video could have been much shorter. Just plug them in.....they sound amazing already! Just kidding.....yes the sub helps but they sound great right out of the box.
They are super good.
"Keep them off the ground". Check. I got one, "Make sure drivers are facing the
listener".
Proper toe in is absolute critical, I agree. The number of folks that don’t do this is pretty high. These ‘common sense’ suggestions go a very long way for the lay person.
You put them in your living room , that says it all .
You should have started with a good speaker then you would have something to work with .
Instead of putting them where? Thats where we listen to music.
My biggest regret is not getting the piano black RP600M's
They are pretty!
Just buy the floorstander rp5000f was $750 but now $848 because China tariffs hike...
The tariffs aren't fun for we consumers...
@@JilesMcCoy the tariffs are fun for the orange asshole in the White House.
I've got the RP160's with those stands. Now fill them with sand to eliminate resonance.
You are right! The sand will help a ton!!!!
Tony Stark is making audio equipment? He has slipped ever since dropping his weapon production! He made those subs, out of scraps in a cave!
He is making _GOOD_ audio equipment.
RADIOLOGY uses the term “central ray”.
Where the white gloves?
Need the gloves!
One thing you did not do is fill those stands with sand or something.
On it!

You need a good amp then they will sound great
No way ! it all takes up too much space ! take RP-280f, 28F, 8000F or 820F and you don't need this subwoofer plus this furnished foot which takes the place of a single column. it's logical and practical.
I sand filled my Monolith's
That is a great option!
Looks to be extreme toe-in bru.
It is a well known fact that the Klipsch need to be at least 2 or 3 ft from the back wall.Nice try
Glad you like it!
HA! I know a beautiful 'Salamander Design' audio rack when I seez it (O: My former landlord bought one, and I ordered one for my neighbor's system. Great stuff...........oh, and so are the Klipsch
bookshelves. !!
I love Salamander! This one is like 10 years old and is starting to show its age a bit though!
@@JilesMcCoy Well, just keep the hardware tight, and you can always touch up little nicks and such with the available stain markers to keep it looking new. I have always liked that remote controls still work well through the closed doors and the metal mesh in the panels. Glad you love yours! Enjoy your vids too !
Off axis listening is super impactful. You should try it in your living room.
I Hope you have filled the stands with Sand or Kitty litter...😉
Don Tümmler Sand. Cat litter seems icky :)
Wow, red subwoofer...words fail me...
Yes, it is beautiful.
Alert the media -- a fancy powered sub with a four-figure price tag will make a pair of modest little bookshelf speakers from Best Buy® sound much better. What a revelation! :-)
Consider us alerted. We will make a video about it!
Good video but that red sub is ugly
Its because he is red with anger!
Jesus loves you. Thanks Jiles!
You are welcome!
sound test would be nice....all these mumbo jumbo makes no sense if one doesnt get to hear them.
Thats isnt a horn, its a waveguide
I don’t see how they sound better because you’re using a sub and speaker stands
That’s how you make them better. Set them up appropriately. You can’t change the actual speaker… it’s all about how you use them.
These speakers need a center channel
You are right. I am using an old deftech now... I need to get the real Klipsch matching model.
Fluffy… not my choice to enhance RP 600M
But not stuffy!
1 it's not a horn speaker.
2 There are too many Klipsch video's, it's boring.
3 They are ok speakers, not more.
Thanks for watching! Hopefully you will watch my non klipsch videos :)
The best fix is available
It's called the JBL studio 530
:-)
Not sure why you would recommend an obviously defunct company’s subwoofer...
John Redford Which company is defunct?
This dude knows zero about actual audio.
Seriously, he doesn’t know anything. Heh.
Yikes. hella close to the wall
I was going to cut a hole and shove them in deep but decided against it.
You are right did the Klipsch will sound better with a sub but number one you have to sand filled stands for good bass response number two you need real power to drive them speaker. Not some AV receiver. If you don't know what you're talkin about don't make UA-cam videos because you have a camera
Thanks for checking out the video!
Why do you say "real power"? These are extremely efficient at 96db and would sound great with a 10w tube amp. You do NOT need a lot of power to make these sound good.
Patrick Barron You are spot on. Many people use 15watt tube amps for these speakers.
I've owned many efficient speakers Klipsch Forte 2, JBL L100T, and so on, if you're looking for Dynamics and real bass you need real power.
First change the crossover. Thats a joke. Cheapest parts ever
What do you suggest?
There is no need for a subwoofer
How do you reproduce the bottom octive?
Terrible speakers 🤮
