I honestly didnt think i would keep watching the videos put out here, but i keep coming back to watch them. Already subbed and looking forward to more!
Love the video! Btw, just have one question about the gantry mechanics. How does the pulley wheel that is connected to the same rod as one of the roller wheels not rotate with the roller wheel as the gantry moves from side to side? I'm building my own homemade claw machine and I am trying to figure out all the ins and outs of claw machine gantries so that I can make my own gantry.
I have a “winner every time” machine missing claw. Does it have to have a motor on claw? It’s for candy so I’m assuming it is more like a backhoe bucket? Still can’t figure out if I need crane with a motor or not. Some are sold without motors can you help?
I have a question on the pay our laser light. Can you keep putting your hand in the prize area until you reach the payout rate if you know about we're its at? And then just play ounce and automaticity get the best claw grip?
I know this is 4 years ago but with my claw machine it has the hand guard in it and the sensor is above that hand gaurd so no triggering it. If I kept it in the Candy Crane location then yes you could trigger the prize sound over and over.
I have a question? If a claw machine joystick isn’t allowing me to move left or drop the claw, would I replace the joystick or buy new switches or would it be caused by something else
@3:14. thats the component i came here to learn about. i wonder what the owners of the arcade/machine set that at. i'll probably never play one of these again.
Love your videos , I am trying to fix a rainbow claw machine that will not go down any idea of where we should start ? I have never worked on one before .
I need your help! I am one hell of a Google searcher, and for the life of me I can not find one D-Damn picture of my "SMS Skill Crane" electronics all hooked together. I have about 3 wires left that I have no idea where they go. Well some idea but I just havnt taken the time to check voltage and the manual is all in Electronic lingo, wich I could learn but I would like to have this up and going NOW!. I heard it is also the same as Big Choice and the same or close to a Grayhound. I have all manuals and can not figure it out. Can you help me with a picture of the board and where the wires go, if you have ticket vend wires and all that would be great so I could upgrade. How about a replacement board and guts, I wouldnt mind updateing so lights flashed and had a newer easier layout. Sure could use your help. p.s. looks like one wire is screwed to the power pack corner. {green} others are red with black lines- and I have open spots on my bridge board but dont know what voltage these need to bee hooked to. I believe there is a choice of three voltages 120, 14, +5 or something similar. Thank Man.
I noticed that in one of your videos Jeremy played a game called the "Keymaster." Are you guys planning on expanding the series into other types of arcade games in the future, or are too many of them payout machines for this to really work out? Loving the Claw Science videos the most at the moment.
Very cool! I am not very interested in playing claw machines, but how they work fascinates me. I came from watching rcnightmare from a couple years back. It would be cool if you did a video kind of explaining what you do for a job, probably not involving anything super specific like company name or specific details of projects you have worked on. Just a video for us to understand what kind of cool stuff you have been up to. Keep up the cool vids!
In previous episodes you've stated that you've been clawing for plushes for your own claw machine. Once you fill it, and you keep clawing at walmart etc..., what will you do with the extra plush/other prizes? Do you sell them? Give them away? Is there a profit to be made?
Oh man the bottom (storage) of my machine is ready to burst with extra plush. We'll definitely be doing some giveaways to our subscribers and maybe selling the name brand stuff. No profit margins to be had.
So you seem like a expert at claw machines. im a crazy cosplayer trying to make a doctor octopus costume. Can the claw be removed and still used and moveable? I know this is a out of topic question but any advice or help is great.
Love the videos! Just subscribed. It would be cool if you could do a tips video on how to position the claw well before you drop it. Whenever I play it always seems like the claw is a bit too far away or close when going for a specific prize.
2:15 A Z80 cpu, I Knew it! I'm willing to bet at least 95% of claw machines run on Z80s. Also do you have an opinion on what you call it? Skill crane? Claw machine? Something else? I see you call it a claw machine in the description but i feel like that might just be the opinion of the uploader :p
hahaha at a blistering 6MHz too! The industry standard is Crane Machine; referring to the gantry up top that moves and drops the claw. But we all know it's a claw machine []---E
Hey there, I have a question Please Reply me. I wanted to purchase claw machine in Nepal🇳🇵 So you know there is Different Money in cash can this recognize our country Money or can this be programmed
That's pretty cool. Some things were pretty obvious if you know about other arcade machines or electronics. Still, you learn something everyday. Thanks for the video. #hqsentme
Nice! One time I saw a video explenation of this, the strategy they suggested was: wait until a person wins, then star counting how many people lose before someone wins again; and then you have your pattern! So for example WIN LOSE LOSE LOSE LOSE WIN you now know you have to wait for another four people to try before you know you can win! Cool stuff! #hqsentme
Looks like we'll be giving out 3 Khans of Tarkir Holiday Gift Boxes! Winners announced tomorrow better get over here and subscribe and comment now!
I love you and your videos. Thank you for getting me into mtg and claw machines xD as well as saving me on boring evenings.
Cheers from Sweden!
I honestly didnt think i would keep watching the videos put out here, but i keep coming back to watch them. Already subbed and looking forward to more!
Brad Jones I watch brandons videos too! He's far more intelligent than I am
Very informational, more so then the show "How it is made." Thank you for posting this.
This is awesome! I love looking at the "guts" of machines and how they actually work.
I'm actually getting one tomorrow
Ty for helping me out

I have a smart industry machine. How do I see what each of the codes mean when looking through the different modes
How does the claw open and close? Need it for a project
How do you test the terminal block on the gantry that it's getting power to close the claw??????
I have a question? If a claw machine joystick isn’t allowing me to move left or drop the claw, would I replace the joystick or buy new switches or would it be caused by something else
Curious question, can you change the coin? Like you want the game to um turn on but not using coin. Example using cards or something.
Very unique channel with some really interesting content. Looking forward to seeing more.
How do you adjust the claw strength?
@3:14. thats the component i came here to learn about. i wonder what the owners of the arcade/machine set that at. i'll probably never play one of these again.
In 2:03 minutes, I see that the sound board chips come from my country... ST Electronics in Singapore. Cool. hehe :)
Does your machine have a tilt mechanism?
Pretty cool stuff hope this helps me get better at these to be able to win some stuff for my kid
Love your videos , I am trying to fix a rainbow claw machine that will not go down any idea of where we should start ? I have never worked on one before .
Never knew there was so much involved in a claw machine
how do you slow down the claw machine mines moving way too much

Hi pm me I can help you
Can you help explain how to replace a joystick?
I would like to see how to hack or cheat on them. Rubbing a magnet somewhere, or hitting it in a certain position.
I noticed that in one of your videos Jeremy played a game called the "Keymaster." Are you guys planning on expanding the series into other types of arcade games in the future, or are too many of them payout machines for this to really work out? Loving the Claw Science videos the most at the moment.
We will definitely be shooting videos on any payout machine. We want to educate everyone playing these things.
Hi,
The power supply vents are very dusty which will cause excessive heat inside it.
Thanks for the informative video. Try adding in audio after filming to help keep the voice volume consistent.
I know sorry! I normalized them a bit but not enough. I left the lapel mics a few states back. They are en route now. Clean audio is on the way
What if you buy a machine used where can you the the user book
Thank you for a quality video, too many videos are click bait
Really informative and you guys really know what you talking about. Thus channel is gonna go far.
Thanks so much!

Hey man thanks for the support on RCN and giving Clawstruck a shot! I mostly do field NDE work now. Not very YT worthy lol.
Thanks for clearing up how they work

I was just wondering what to I do if my claw machine isnt counting down when I first turn it on
You Missed The Crucial Part - The Solenoid Itself (With In The Claw) .. Great Vids Just Over Looked The Claw Itself
Love the videos! Just subscribed. It would be cool if you could do a tips video on how to position the claw well before you drop it. Whenever I play it always seems like the claw is a bit too far away or close when going for a specific prize.
Thanks for the sub! You ask we deliver! Look for it on an upcoming Claw Science episode =]
+ClawStruck that was my question too !
This great, I must try this at the jersey shore
I wish you could diagnose what’s wrong w my Route 66. It won’t go left or right anymore.
Imagine a claw machine with MTG packs/plushies. Oh my.
That may or may not be in this channels future...
ClawStruck I may have to just visit you guy just to try it out if it happens haha
Jacob Cho []----E
What happens on the inside when the wrong amount of money is inserted? Great vid👍🏼

This is so cool
totally Kewl!
thanks for the mechanical walk thru Dude :)
I love electronics and mechanical mechanisms.

Are You The Owner Of That Claw Machine Did You Buy That Thing
why my machine is winning 90% of the time
Cool stuff! #hqsentme
Yeah that's a great way to beat payout on some machines but be warned, other machines randomize that pattern so you can't count it!
How much did the machine cost you?
hear from mtg headqaurters....... hi guys !!!!
The more you know... #HQsentme
How did you guys even get into claw machines? It seems like it caters to a really niche audience
Personally I've been into them my whole life. Love 'em. But hey if almost every Walmart (Clawmart) has one, it can't be that niche!
never heard of a dip switch before.... interesting. #HQsentme
Great
Cool
my claw machine is rigged how do u chang setings to stronger because myne is so weak
LoopyBraclet98 Gaming Can I send you a dictionary? It's mine not myne
