Not a problem if you're running Hoverclock or Special Powder. You can slingshot yourself wherever you want and still give the middle finger to fall damage. Hoverclock is even better on this regards, because of several reason : 1) Usefull in combat (you can literally just jump for it to activate) to get cheeky shot on difiicult targets. 2) You don't actually need to shoot the charged shot if you use it to negate fall damage (cancel the charge with a melee). Special Powder still needs you to shoot and waste shell, Hoverclock does not. 3) It allows to use the most OP secondary's OC for high single target damage : Embedded Detonators.
Then you have scouts like me who use hover boots to dig a hole into the wall and then slingshot into the hole I created 400 feet in the air with a middle finger to the engineer platforms

Bosco can light up areas and get things in hard to reach places like the Scout, Doretta mulches through solid rock and the occasional chitin like the Driller, and BET-C has the shield and DPS of the Gunner. The only one missing is the Engineer, which makes sense, given just how versatile they are.
maybe its just me but I hate bosco (700 solo missions btw) - rarely digs compressed dirt all the way through - super inconsistent at shooting cave leeches after they grab you, even if he's right next to you he will sometimes not shoot - will randomly be 50+ meters away when you get downed - likes to hover just out of throw range when carrying a mineral chunk or other object, this would be fine if the throw range was upped a little bit to 15m or 20m, but 10m can get annoying when bosco doesn't want to get close to you - utterly fails at defending the drilldozer, even if it's stationary and has no more than 2 grunts attacking it
As someone who genuinely enjoys all the classes and plays them all pretty equally, I feel especially called out XD Need to refill my turrets constantly. Risked the mission looking for the last Booloo cap. Failed the mission when I accidentally blew myself up with C4 Panick placed a shield when I meant to pull out my primary. Guilty as charged.

Not a problem if you're running Hoverclock or Special Powder.
