- A lot of people asked me about how I made the hvx footage look so good in my last video, so here is a brief introduction on how to get your footage to look the same way.

Don't forget to apply the Lut!
hey, may I ask, how do you set the Davinci Resolve Project? any recommendation? does .MFX files works fine for color grading? or the camera generates another kind of file?
Oh sorry for the late reply! But I set my timeline resolution, and then set the 3d lut interpretation to tetrahedral for the smoothest color, and yeah I would say the mxf files, which if you are shooting at 1080i 24p advanced, is pretty decent, it's only 8bit 422, but it's 100mbps and as long as you're not grading super heavily it looks pretty good with minimal motion artifacting. Though you have to remember to drag the entire folder that's created by the hvx and not the individual mxf file, since the dvcpro hd codec is weird in that the audio is on a separate folder from the video. So if you only dragged the mxf file onto the timeline you will get no audio.
