Bro I just tried it out and I seriously can‘t thank you enough god damn this thing sounds good now, had an Cold Air Intake for a while but unfortunatly they aren‘t allowed here in germany and therefore put back the stock airbox and the disappointment was immeasurable, but now its a perfect compromise between sound and legal, again thank you so much 🙏🏼
Fellow German here. Just found this video and will try it asap. My only question is if the air mass meter (German: Luftmassenmesser) will have any issues? Hoping for a kind of "CSL Growl" and as most airboxes are illegal in Germany I consider this the best option.

Und nein du wirst keine Probleme mit dem Luftmassenmesser haben ich meine schaus dir an, ich fahre seitdem ich den Kommentar geschrieben habe so rum also seit 7 Monaten und kein einziger Fehlercode deswegen. Du änderst ja im Prinzip auch nix an der Luft, die geht ja immer noch durch den Luftfilter. Und JA du wirst dieses CSL Growlen bekommen, zwar leider nicht in dem Ausmaß wie ein offener Luffi, aber dafür dass es kostenlos und legal ist, gibts nix besseres. Hoffe konnte dir ein wenig aushelfen :)
Hab’s auch gemacht und muss sagen das ich das Gefühl habe das er untenrum bisschen freier dreht. Oben rum ist auf jeden fall mehr Sound. Sehr geiler „mod“ und die netten Herren in Blau haben letzten Mittwoch auch nicht gemeckert.
So.... you basicly take out the way the engine sucks in cold air. great idea.... all for sound. Keep the baffle in there which connects to the outside tubing. You could maybe shorten the baffle but keep it for sure.

I’ve done this and complimented it with the K&N panel filter sounds good

You can keep the outside tubing, and take the baffle out hr just didnt
@@e36Remor he can cut the baffle shorter so it’ll allow fast cool air to enter while removing restriction inside the airbox
