I like the cheaper moulds as I am still learning and don’t mind if I accidentally ruin it. Then when I get a good quality one it will take me weeks before I use it as I need to think what I want to do. I am a rather impatient resiner plus what the brain sees the hands don’t then the resin has a different idea.
Which mask do you use when pouring resin? It's crazy how clear you sound! I've watched tons of resin artists who sound so muffled when they're wearing a mask
there's a video on my channel about it. I use 3M gear, and usually poke a wireless lavalier mike in the mask. or if not - I edit the sound heavily after. sometimes you;ll hear a difference when I can't quite match it between mics and with and without
to be honest with enough fiddling with the sound, even the lavalier just stuck on my collar outside of the mask works :) Just have to up the volume and do voice enhance, things like that till it sounds ok.
Good idea though if you are collecting them from "the wild" do just check tha it is legal in the area you are collecting - and I took him out between shots as I mention in the video :)
@@Ali-H3444 the resin would slide into the shapes and loose the effect. It's meant to be satin :) I will be trying Ethereal Powders on the inside of the mould soon too
@miniscenesgb I like their molds I just can't support a company who takes over a month to ship. I ordered from them a month ago and my order still hasn't shipped. You can't run a successful business like that. If you use a brush with uv resin it would work. I did it many times. Some people like the satin look. I prefer my resin pieces to be shiny. Anyway 😊 thanks for the feedback.
Hi Ive been following your crystal molds experiments from Intoresin. Ive bought their oyster shell handmade crystal mold, just wondered if you were going to buy that one from them. I have received mine and I am not sure how to use it properly….its not like normal molds in that they suggest you pour one side first, cure, then pour the other side??? I love your channel. I am a Brit but I live in North Carolina now. So I love listening to your accent, your voice is so relaxing 😌 xxx

those moulds are baller! but which of the 36 darn links in the desc can i buy therm from? you gotta de-gas that goo, though, lass. random bubbles and messed up edges don't "add to it". add personal touches, that don't result from cheaping out. (a LIGHT golden mica dry brushing on the roses would slap!) PS: you can build a sufficient vacuum chamber for
the IntoResin link, also the qr code is shown in the video. And the resin doesn't usually need degassing, it degasses itself. I was just rushing to demo the moulds, not the resin. They DO add to it- these sold already, made yesterday. I have a vaccuum chamber, zero need to use it for the mould demo of this video

Yep bargain moulds are great for learning with, I still use them for testing :)

I collect real crystal from Ireland. I think I might start making molds 😊
