🍐🍐I have the pear mold. I made a bad decision to use Resincrete. Wow, was that a heavy pear!! Also, the top of the stem broke off when demolding. The stick is a cleaning stick according to the website.
I own the resin mixer too and totally agree it’s perfect for larger jobs only! I wish I had purchased their mixing wand instead, as I’d definitely get more use out of it. I love them all, but the 🍎 is my favorite! I need to buy all these molds!
Congrats n the free item. I love the pear one. Also I think this tools is great for big batches like you say. I still want it to mix big batches cuz they really are a pin to mix. I can;t wait to get those fruit mold, they are so pretty.🍐
The strawberry is really cute! 🍓 The glitter in it with the little dents all the way around gives it extra shineyness! ✨️ I think pears, berries, and watermelon are my favorites when they are at peak ripeness. That makes them extra tricky, so I usually have apples or bananas or canned or frozen foods.
@JBKonsCreations for sinking glitter, use 1 drop of clear Elmer's glue per oz of resin. Daniel Cooper discovered this while experimenting on his channel. It's amazing! Also I have the Istoyo stand mixer and it's awesome.
Great video. You cleaned that mixing thing fantastically we!!. I'm lucky if I wipe those small ones off. I usually let it drain into a Spare.mold. I like to pour resin into a spare mold when I mix too much. Sometimes that turns out interesting. These fruit ja rs are really nice. I have the strawberry. My cat has found out he can knock that over and see what's inside easily. Now its never sitting upright with the lid on. I bet teachers are getting lots of resin apples.
Have you thought about using acetone to clean the mixer? Maybe pour some in the cup and turn the mixer on? That might help. Idk though because I don't use resin. I just think its fun to watch you use it. 😂 🍎
I've never used acetone to clean up resin but I once used it to clean polymer clay and it damaged my little figure so I only use it for my nails lol. I wonder how if it would react to resin...
The resin mixer is at the post office waiting for me to pick up. I have severe RA, so hoping this will help. I have seen that if you put it in an empty cup, you can turn it on to spin excess resin off. Someone also mentions to stick it into a cup with 99% alcohol and turn on to help clean it.
Turned out really pretty! I love the transparency of the pear, but the strawberry is my favorite. 🍓

Oh no. Same with what happened with my tiny Christmas tree. 😢

The resin definitely came off with the alcohol I used, no issues there. :)
