Your hair was not light enough for the t-18 it needs to be at a level 9 or 10 pale yellow. Like the inside of a banana. Your hair was a level 6 or 7 orange on top. Bottom was a level 7 or 8 orange.
The box dye helped because it had more lightener in it 30 or 40v, and a level 8 toner.
Since the bottom was close to a level 8 it actually took.
You could have made the original color ashy by using a 7A toner.

I'm not sure who advised you on the process but it was incorrect. You only tone (using the wella toner) as a final step to your coloring process. You should have just lightened (bleached it) until you lifted to a level 9-10. In your video, you did not lift enough. You should have done another bleach process on it to lift more. Then when you acheive the hightest level, then you could have applied the Loreal color. It was uneccessary to use the wella products. And becuase you were still very orange, the wella products would not have toned it correctly anyways.

@autumnmoss2950 do you have any advice for me too:) I have bleached to 9-10 and color it with loreal 8s. I didn’t like it and I want to be platinum blonde. How can be platinium blonde from gray (8s). Do I need to bleach again?
I have yet to see a successful at home color or tone. Leave it to the pros.
