Have fell in love with humbrol new weathering products they are really value for your money
That Shed looks Stunning will certainly give it a go on one of my old sheds.
I bought the black wash last week and it's absolutely superb! And the best part is since they're already prepared for you, it takes a lot of the guess work out - I for one always struggled with getting the right consistency. You need these washes in your kit!!! Thanks for the tutorial too, it's opened up a whole new inspiration for other projects!
Great videos. I am just learning how to do all this and your videos have really helped out and have me wanting to try more.
brilliant tutorial and the end result is great!
This video is fantastic, really has helped me, now onto faces!
This was the 1st of this series I've watched - this was really good.. Thank you very much as I have a number of corrugated bldg's in a Steel Mill that this should really enhance!
great technique and great video
Great to hear! Thanks
Fabulous video.
Thanks for yet another great tutorial!!! You showed some great styles for detail and a few different methods In previous videos. Because of your tutorials I bought a few bottles of decalfix and gloss cote and many enamel paints. It was a real shame the hobby shop isnt currently stocking weathering powders :( thankyou for these great tutorials.
Awesome!!!
Great to hear your positive feedback! :-)
Verry good instruction.
excellent video!
great tutorial
is there going to be a video for how to weather the center of the railway track like sleeper grime oil spill on sleepers on track at station platforms?
Another super tutorial! Should come in very handy. Is there any chance of a tutorial on how to weather a carriage, with powered and washes? I really enjoyed the loco and wagons ones and it would be great to see one. Many thanks!
Awesome....
was thinking painting a gundam was already difficult.. now, after watching this, gundam level is like pre-school level. This is grandmaster stuff
Very nice👍
Hi, What do you recommend I use for weathering a 1/6 figure wearing all vietnam gear to make him look dirty, worn from the mud and dirt in the rainforest??? Thanks for your help
Great, just GREAT!!! :)
if i was doing a shed, I'd love it if i could get it to come out like that. Unfortunately I just don't think I've got the patience.
On the list :-)
WIll you have a video to show us how to best use the Gloss oil stain wash?
can you mix washes with weathering pouders
I really want to get into building models with all this weathering etc, I've only ever done the most basic 'clean' models before..I'm just not sure I've got the patience for it lol
I came to use the black wash for a second time after using it successfully on the first occasion, only to find that there was an off-white gel substance in the jar. Despite vigorous mixing, the wash had turned more to thick paint rather than a wash. It was though all the liquid solvent had reacted. Jar was tightly capped. Don't know if anyone else has had a similar problem?
are these compatible with Tamiya enamel thinners? I cant find any humbrol enamel thinners in stores.
thanks
Hey what airbrush did your use ? Thanks
how can i correct a error, a bit of enamel has aa dink during drying and now i need to repair the paint job, any tips
If the maskol Star to drie de can use esther like they paints?
Can you make a video about humbrol clear fix??
Why most of air brushes doesn't have a cap on that little color bottles?
what time is the part of the brick work??
hey Humbrol, when I use Humbrol Gloss Cote in airbrush, I thin it down to consistency of water with Humbrol Enamel Thinners, but it still makes little drops on my model. maybe I did something wrong or it's just my airbrush?
I have recently used humbrol matt cote in the bottle one, it made the model a high sheen shine? I had put three coats on and still no difference? Before I put humbrol matt cote on I had put humbrol clear on, I don't know why it made a high sheen instead of a matt finish????
Awesome vid. A shame you didnt show what you were goin to do to replace the windows from the original model. Jason.
We have lots and lots of videos in the pipeline so chances are we will attempt this at some stage!
Can I use enamel gloss on acrylic paint?
The product code on the Hornby website is R9679 :-)
Wow
hey what model is this
Every time I try to use humbrol enamel thinners to clean up the wash it strips the paint off my model. I use humbrol clear coat and give it several coats and a few hours to dry before touching it again and it still strips off the paint under the clear coat. Do you have any advice on how to stop this. Thanks.
Make sure that your paint has cured for a few days and give it several coats of clear or gloss cote
can you please make a video for WW2 model aircraft
I just wanted to order multiple washes, powders and thinner via amazon, but Humbrol wants to have post and package for each individual little bottle adding up to a fantasy price for sending. So I deleted the order right away. :(
MarkNiceyard why not just order from he Humbrol website, prices aren’t that different to the amazon prices.
how do you be a master of the patina
Give it a go and see what happens!
Podrían hacer los videos en ESPAÑOL... para los que no dominamos el inglés....
Or you could try a Spanish youtube channel instead of trying to get an English speaking content maker to learn a new language. Equally you could learn English.
@@NirateGoel si HUMBROL tuviese canal en español, lo vería y no tendría que estar molestando.
We would recommend you testing this before you attempt it on your actual model.
Such a sweat
Send an e-mail to customercare@hornby.com and we will try and sort this out for you :-)
Interesting techniques, but I think a bit overdone.
Number two not impressed, the dust wash separated and thus became pretty much useless two weeks after purchase, the dark green went lumpy after two weeks and is again useless, have also noticed black flakes in bottles of unopened thinners, add to this the shocking quality of some of the Humbrol acrylics I have and no reply from Humbrol customer services means I will throw all this way and never buy their products again, Humbrols loss not mine as I used a vast range of their products each year.
Lovely to hear a speaker from the BC - and some great examples of the process and completed work - many thanks.
