Yesssssssss Finally!!! An excellent review on this Timbuk2!! I was on the fence on buying it or not. Thanks!!!
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
FINALLY someone doing a review on this bag. lol I stopped at the Timbuk2 shop in California last week and really liked the size of the Parker. I just bought a Tom Bihn Synapse 25 to replace my eBags Professional Slim as my EDC, but I'm still very curious about the Parker, so I'd love to know your thoughts on that!
Thank you for watching! I haven't had a chance to fully dive into the Parker just yet, but my first impressions are really good. It has all the things I really liked about this bag with the benefits of some additional space and the ability to expand! Ill definitely be doing a full review for it as well and that's awesome to hear you got a Synapse! Ive been very curious to try out the 25 specifically!
@@dannypacks Just received my Synapse 25 and I LOVE it! Definitely worth checking out!
Excellent detailed and in depth review. This looks like a great daily bag. I love the slim profile and good front organization pockets. And yes with some good compression packing cubes this could definitely work as an overnight or weekend travel bag. Solid video 👍🏾
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I’m glad the video was helpful and I was definitely surprised how much it was able to hold!:)
Very helpful review. I appreciate how well you describe each feature and your opinion on them.
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
Got the Lane few months ago, today I was driving bicycle for two hours on really heavy rain without a cover.. Not a drop inside, bag is totally dry. I'm so impressed that I'm thinking to buy the Parker as well. This is by far the best backpack I ever had..I went through Superdry, Northface, Thulle.
Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience! That’s great to hear the bag did so well in the rain even without the cover and the Parker is definitely a great option to consider if you need a little bit more space!:)
@@dannypacks I think we all would highly
appreciate if you include some shower/rain tests in your reviews. That's a big deal on choosing a backpack in my opinion.
Yes please upload the parker pack video soon!!!! I'm really interested in the bag being a college student. In the video could you maybe go over how much space you can fit in the main compartment. Being a college student, I need a bag to fit a lot of books so hopefully the parker can do that
Thank you for watching and I will definitely work on getting to the Parker as soon as possible! Upon my initial usage, it can definitely hold a good amount and its great that it has some expandability! =)
@@dannypacks Awesome, thanks for the info! Btw could you by any chance list like a couple bags that are good for college. Honestly I'm looking for something that's stylish, has a lot of space for a bunch of notebooks and folders, and something that will hold up well over time. And tbh I'm having a hard time picking out the right one....which is why I have been binge watching your videos lol
one of the best designs out rn!!
Thank you for watching! And I definitely agree, really cool looking bag!:)
Another one here that would like to see you review the Parker. What I don't understand is, if they are so water resistant, why do they come with a rainfly? What's your experience with the water resistance without the rainfly?
Thank you for watching and good question! So far the bag has been great in the rain and when I’ve poured any water on it. My guess is that no matter how well protected the zippers and materials are (except for maybe something like the materials they use on black ember bags for example) it always provides more peace of mind to have the extra cover that a rain fly offers especially if it’s particularly big downpour or there’s a lot of wind as there may be areas of the bag where water could possibly sneak through. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)
That buckle on the sternun strap is from Woojin, not from Fidlock. Woojin buckle is cheaper but the quality still very good.
Thank you for watching and for the clarification! I hadn't realized it was a different brand but I will definitely add a note in the description for the video to help clarify! =)
Good review, very surprised you don't have 5x -10x the number of subscribers. I was a little confused by the orientation of the pack during the review, I kept expecting the top to be where you have the bottom .. eg top of pack toward the top of the video / "up" .. I felt like the bag was upside-down. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I really appreciate the support! And that’s a good point on the orientation of the bag, definitely something I’ll have to keep in mind for future videos!:)
Nice Review. Can be Use Tech/Travel Backpack please? How much please?Where Can I Buy Online or Physical Stores please?
I was just contemplating on getting this bag. You're the only in depth review out there. Couple of bags I think you should look at is the Arktype Dashpack, Alchemy Equipment AEL013 Minimalist Daypack, and the Brown Buffalo 19L CB V3. Thanks on another great review.
Thank you for watching and for the support! I’m glad the video was helpful and those are some great suggestions, I’ll have to see if I can check them out!:)
Thanks for the review! I was going back and forth between this and the Robin. The Robin is a bit taller which I like but I also heard the straps on the Lane were way shorter. I’m 5’11 also, did you find this to be true on the Lane? Thoughts on the Robin?
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! I haven’t had a chance to check out the robin yet but it looks pretty interesting, although I prefer the zipper opening of the lane commuter a bit more. I haven’t noticed any issues with the straps being too short but if you like a taller bag I also recommend taking a look at the Parker which looks very similar to the lane but it is a little taller and has more space. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)
Good review as always.. please tell me why don't you invlude some shower test so we can see how it performs under rain. I think this is super important and I don't understand why we can't see some shower tests.
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! Normally it comes down mostly to time constraints due to the number of videos I am working on, but I like the idea and will have to see how I can incorporate some sort of water tests in the future :)
No matter WHAT bag you buy you can always buy a waterproof (often hi-vis) cover. Timbuk2 are outrageously expensive, there’s better and far cheaper out there
like what?
Have you done a review of the Robin backpack by TIMBUK2?
Thank you for watching! I haven’t had a chance to check that one out, but it looks like another solid timbuk2 option!:)
Hi, I have a 32 oz Klean Kanteen bottle, is 3.64in (9.23cm) in diameter would it fit in the water bottle compartment?
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately I think that would be a little big for the side pockets
@@dannypacks Bummer, thanks for answering.
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for watching! =)
Your reviews are really really good...but....can you please invest in some appropriate lighting for filming? The lighting is really the only thing that lets your reviews down. You are clear, considered and informed. You are able to articulate your reviews so well and I've now watched a bunch of them. Keep on putting out content and I'll keep watching.
Thank you for watching and for the support! I really appreciate the feedback and lighting is definitely something I will be trying to learn about and work on improving for the videos in the future!:)
does it fit new 16" Mac book pro?
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately I don’t have a device that size to test for sure but I think it would be able to squeeze in but might be a pretty snug fit
How tall are you?
Thank you for watching! I am 5’11”. Hope that helps and if there are any additional questions I can help answer please let me know!:)
@@dannypacks Thanks for the video man, you're the first person I've seen wearing it since it came out lol. Wish it were sized a hair closer to the Parker and expandable. I'll stay tuned for when you drop that video.
so small. I wish they have 50L
