There are some cover versions of "Hypa Hypa" released by several German bands and artists: - by Deathcore band We Butter The Bread With Butter (pure Deathcore) - by Pop singer Sasha (Pop music) - by Medieval Folk Metal band Saltatio Mortis (with bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy) - by Hip-Hop band 257ers (German Hip-Hop) - by Metalsinger Axel F (with some classical instrumentation) - by Country band The Boss Hoss (American Country style) all of them are featuring Kevin and Nico in their videos. The covers are all good but my personal favourites are the versions of Saltatio Mortis and Sasha. If you like Saltatio Mortis (Latin for "dance of death") they could be a candidate to "branch out" a bit maybe, they have some great original songs themselves. As a next EC song try "Pump it", the song with which EC applied to the German pre-selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The German Radio/TV-station responsible for the pre-selection denied their application for being "not radio friendly enough". EC even made a short video about this (#ECnot4ESC ua-cam.com/video/PKyd9uABMBM/v-deo.html ). Btw: Germany finished at last place in the contest that year.
You're list is missing the 7th version, which is a remix by Gestört aber Geil, which is full EDM. But it's the weakest version imo anyway and no EC band member joined for the (also) weak video. Just for the sake of completion 😉

They are on the festivals schedule right now and working on their new album in between, while also working on their next tours. It just takes a while until they respond and white list, but from small to huge channels, they usually whitelist them all. Also they do reactions to reations themselves, and there you will find smaller and larger channels as well :) Before you go down further songs, you might want to check out the Behind the scenes videos for Hypa Hypa and We Got the Moves. They did not make BTS videos to all songs/music videos, but to many of their music videos. This is why going down the ECB rabbit hole is done best by their Videos, they've done some truly hilarious ones. But still catchy as hell and musically superb. (Babymetal is best live because SuMetals voice is SO amazing & the live videos have so much more in them. Moa & Momo do harmonies but i think its backing track as they dance so much)
This was how they introduced the new singer. It makes healthy fun of a specific german subculture of guys who peaked in highschool and thought the 80's were still cool in the 90's. They could not get good jobs, because after the german reunification the economy tanked, a lot. They showed up in their late 20's early 30's in the discos wearing all the stuff that was cool in the last decade, drenched in cologne, thinking they were the kings and could get all the girls, who were all in their late teens and making fun of them.
Another great reaction! I'm glad you're enjoying their videos and that this one went through OK. This was their first song/video after Nico (the clean singer) joined the band and they changed their name from Eskimo Callboy. For other great ones from them, check out Tekkno Train and their amazing cover of Every Time We Touch (they covered the Cascada song for that one). Some of their earlier videos are a lot of fun as well, though a bit different. For those, I highly recommend MC Thunder and MC Thunder II (Dancing Like a Ninja). The first of these is on the page of the record label that it was released on, so don't be concerned when you don't see it on their official page. For something new, if you haven't yet heard anything by Ren, you would likely enjoy Hi Ren by Ren. Definitely different from Baby Metal and Electric Callboy. He has a large following who will be interested in your reactions and a really big catalog that you can dive into as well. I would still recommend getting rid of the video in the background. Whether or not it has any impact on copyright, it is very distracting when watching. I would suggest just adding some sort of nice static background to avoid the motion distraction while the video is playing. You've been improving with every reaction and I think that would really push your quality a bit. Keep up the great reactions, very enjoyable so far.

@@Abigirl_Reacts Other great videos to watch from Ren would include - Chalk Outlines (featuring Chinchilla) - she is great as well. This, like Hi Ren, is one of his "live" videos, in that it isn't a studio recording. It isn't in front of an audience, though. This would let you hear some of his singing ability. If you want amazing storytelling in a song, watch The Tale of Jenny and Screech (make sure to watch the official music video - there are 3 parts to this and you don't want to end up seeing them out of order). If you want to experience his rap abilities, try The Hunger. And yes, Ren is definitely another deep rabbit hole. Lots to explore there.

They just got off tour, not sure about management, but are generally great about fans using their songs for reactions. They have even videos of them reacting to people reacting on their videos ha ha. Couple FYI, the "Hypa Hypa girl" is actually a registered nurse specializing in elderly care, EC always find kinda unique looking women for lead role in videos. And the drummer David Friedrich is of Ukrainian heritage, and when the Ukraine war broke out he drove donate supplies from EC fans and back and forth into Ukraine.

(His parents have a house in the near of Krakow (south of Poland) so he, his friend Gustav (drummer of Tokio Hotel) refreshed the house and gave 10 Ukrainians shelter plus helped to bring with food, clothes, aso to Ukraine and people out of Ukraine.)
Well done, how you went through this difficult video, which is funny on so many different layers. Alone the lyrics which is more a boy band-ish song, as well as that typically circle dancing at the end which was in fashion around the 2000. Time for some exercises, you should react to "Pump it" now. Regarding the blocked videos: Some youtuber said they wrote to their management and after a while they got unblocked. It is worth a try. EC is not the problem, their label is.

I guess that will never happen but at least i want to try to give a suggestion to something uncommon. Since there are not many reactions out there, I really would like to see a reaction to "Марш (Marching)" from "IC3PEAK" (61 millions views). Its a russian band (politically persecuted) worldwidly known that does (experimental) Drum & Bass with outstanding vocals. The video was released 2020 before war started. English subtitles are available.
EC is very reactor friendly, so you don't have to worry much about interrupting the videos. If you ever run into problems, reach out to them and they will help.
Electric Callboy are quite open to reaction channels. Maybe they just are very busy at the moment with touring. If they bring a new video, you might want to bring a reaction quite early, because they also play the uno reverse card on reaction channels, by reacting to reactions. EDIT: also the pauses are quite not bad, because then, IMO, you can utter the impressins better. I prefer a bit of pausing, than talking "over the music", some reaction channels tend to be too silent to be really heard over the music.

Now this reaction you watched is only partially blocked. I don't get why others can practically watch the whole video nonstop and not get blocked. I forgot to let you know from we go the moves but including this on is that your screen showing the video is backwards. Like for example all 3 guitarist are right handed but in the video screen I see them left handed. How this helps in your learning process.
The aesthetics of the video are impossible to really understand for people who know nothing about Germany in the 90s. Back in the late 80s and early 90s the German coal and steel industries went belly up and hundreds of thousands of working class dudes who had thought they would be working in those industries like their fathers and grandfathers had, found themselves without much perspective. That kind of created a whole generation of "peaked in high school"-type dudes who couldn't let go of their youth in the 80s and were still running around like that (mullets, handlebar mustaches aso.) till way into the 90s, long after that had stopped being fashionable. So in the 90s (when the guys in that band were kids) you had all those 30 to 40 year old, beer guzzling working class blokes hanging around techno rave parties and dance clubs, looking like time travelers from the 80s and trying to pick up chicks half their age. That is what this song and the video are making fun of and that is why it makes sense that the video mixes tropes from the 80s (mullets etc.) and 90s (Boy Band music, techno, aso.) and why the dudes look like from the 80s while the chick looks like a 90s raver girl. The band members come from just the part of Germany that was the heartland of the coal industry and later of the German techno rave scene. Ah and one other piece of explanation: The dancing people at the end of the video are a bunch of bigger German UA-camrs who are friends with the band.

I've seen where the actual artist has gotten blocked.. it's the PUBLISHING companies that are blocking you. I hope you get some traction on it though, but just know you're not the only one. This is why going down the ECB rabbit hole is done best by their Videos, they've done some truly hilarious ones. But still catchy as hell and musically superb. (Babymetal is best live because SuMetals voice is SO amazing & the live videos have so much more in them. Moa & Momo do harmonies but i think its backing track as they dance so much)

This was how they introduced the new singer.
It makes healthy fun of a specific german subculture of guys who peaked in highschool and thought the 80's were still cool in the 90's. They could not get good jobs, because after the german reunification the economy tanked, a lot. They showed up in their late 20's early 30's in the discos wearing all the stuff that was cool in the last decade, drenched in cologne, thinking they were the kings and could get all the girls, who were all in their late teens and making fun of them.

Another great reaction! I'm glad you're enjoying their videos and that this one went through OK. This was their first song/video after Nico (the clean singer) joined the band and they changed their name from Eskimo Callboy. For other great ones from them, check out Tekkno Train and their amazing cover of Every Time We Touch (they covered the Cascada song for that one). Some of their earlier videos are a lot of fun as well, though a bit different. For those, I highly recommend MC Thunder and MC Thunder II (Dancing Like a Ninja). The first of these is on the page of the record label that it was released on, so don't be concerned when you don't see it on their official page.
For something new, if you haven't yet heard anything by Ren, you would likely enjoy Hi Ren by Ren. Definitely different from Baby Metal and Electric Callboy. He has a large following who will be interested in your reactions and a really big catalog that you can dive into as well.
I would still recommend getting rid of the video in the background. Whether or not it has any impact on copyright, it is very distracting when watching. I would suggest just adding some sort of nice static background to avoid the motion distraction while the video is playing. You've been improving with every reaction and I think that would really push your quality a bit. Keep up the great reactions, very enjoyable so far.

@@Abigirl_Reacts Other great videos to watch from Ren would include - Chalk Outlines (featuring Chinchilla) - she is great as well. This, like Hi Ren, is one of his "live" videos, in that it isn't a studio recording. It isn't in front of an audience, though. This would let you hear some of his singing ability. If you want amazing storytelling in a song, watch The Tale of Jenny and Screech (make sure to watch the official music video - there are 3 parts to this and you don't want to end up seeing them out of order). If you want to experience his rap abilities, try The Hunger.
And yes, Ren is definitely another deep rabbit hole. Lots to explore there.

They just got off tour, not sure about management, but are generally great about fans using their songs for reactions. They have even videos of them reacting to people reacting on their videos ha ha. Couple FYI, the "Hypa Hypa girl" is actually a registered nurse specializing in elderly care, EC always find kinda unique looking women for lead role in videos. And the drummer David Friedrich is of Ukrainian heritage, and when the Ukraine war broke out he drove donate supplies from EC fans and back and forth into Ukraine.

(His parents have a house in the near of Krakow (south of Poland) so he, his friend Gustav (drummer of Tokio Hotel) refreshed the house and gave 10 Ukrainians shelter plus helped to bring with food, clothes, aso to Ukraine and people out of Ukraine.)
Well done, how you went through this difficult video, which is funny on so many different layers. Alone the lyrics which is more a boy band-ish song, as well as that typically circle dancing at the end which was in fashion around the 2000. Time for some exercises, you should react to "Pump it" now.
Regarding the blocked videos: Some youtuber said they wrote to their management and after a while they got unblocked. It is worth a try. EC is not the problem, their label is.

I’m slowly catching up your reactions, tbh I am almost like you, 5 weeks ago I didn’t even know the existence of Babymetal nor ECB, 4 weeks ago I knew for the first time ever Babymetal with the song Gimme chocolate and the second song I listened from them was the collab with ECB “Ratatata” 😊 up to now I only know those 2 songs from Babymetal plus “Megitsune” and “Headbanger”, haven’t had time to listen to other songs and don’t want to get spoiled with your reactions, once I listen to the songs you’ve reacted I’ll watch your reactions ☺️

I guess that will never happen but at least i want to try to give a suggestion to something uncommon. Since there are not many reactions out there, I really would like to see a reaction to "Марш (Marching)" from "IC3PEAK" (61 millions views). Its a russian band (politically persecuted) worldwidly known that does (experimental) Drum & Bass with outstanding vocals. The video was released 2020 before war started. English subtitles are available.

Electric Callboy are quite open to reaction channels. Maybe they just are very busy at the moment with touring.
If they bring a new video, you might want to bring a reaction quite early, because they also play the uno reverse card on reaction channels, by reacting to reactions.
EDIT: also the pauses are quite not bad, because then, IMO, you can utter the impressins better. I prefer a bit of pausing, than talking "over the music", some reaction channels tend to be too silent to be really heard over the music.
I'm guilty of sometimes trying to talk over the music video. I'll get better at not doing that anymore lol

Great Reaction! Why do you think you'll get blocked when you miss a break after each 30 seconds? EC likes to watch all the reactions to their videos. And others makes no break and don't get blocked. And your face is also no reason to block. On the contrary...
Thank you for the compliment! I'm not sure but for whatever reason my EC reactions have been getting globally blocked unless I take frequent breaks and use a smaller video. Now this reaction you watched is only partially blocked. I don't get why others can practically watch the whole video nonstop and not get blocked. I've contacted EC and asked for permission to use their copyrighted material but they haven't replied yet :(
I forgot to let you know from we go the moves but including this on is that your screen showing the video is backwards. Like for example all 3 guitarist are right handed but in the video screen I see them left handed. How this helps in your learning process.

The aesthetics of the video are impossible to really understand for people who know nothing about Germany in the 90s.
Back in the late 80s and early 90s the German coal and steel industries went belly up and hundreds of thousands of working class dudes who had thought they would be working in those industries like their fathers and grandfathers had, found themselves without much perspective.
That kind of created a whole generation of "peaked in high school"-type dudes who couldn't let go of their youth in the 80s and were still running around like that (mullets, handlebar mustaches aso.) till way into the 90s, long after that had stopped being fashionable.
So in the 90s (when the guys in that band were kids) you had all those 30 to 40 year old, beer guzzling working class blokes hanging around techno rave parties and dance clubs, looking like time travelers from the 80s and trying to pick up chicks half their age.
That is what this song and the video are making fun of and that is why it makes sense that the video mixes tropes from the 80s (mullets etc.) and 90s (Boy Band music, techno, aso.) and why the dudes look like from the 80s while the chick looks like a 90s raver girl.
The band members come from just the part of Germany that was the heartland of the coal industry and later of the German techno rave scene.
Ah and one other piece of explanation: The dancing people at the end of the video are a bunch of bigger German UA-camrs who are friends with the band.
That dance was interesting in the end hehe I didn't know much of this info, thanks for the comment! ^_^

I've seen where the actual artist has gotten blocked.. it's the PUBLISHING companies that are blocking you. I hope you get some traction on it though, but just know you're not the only one.
