Good start to a collection man, and it's cool to see you appear to have a genuine passion for the items you've picked up. I would just caution anyone that is thinking of jumping in for pure "investment" purposes, that the VGA/WATA Rated game market is very murky, and there's a lot of smoke and mirrors. Yes, you can turn some massive profits very quickly, the auctions speak for themselves. But no, factory sealed, mint games, are not nearly as rare as many of the people jumping in may believe. And that's true for games going all the way back to the 2600 days. It's a very fragile market that can be evaporate almost overnight. So it may be lame to say, or whatever, but to anyone getting in to the scene. Please always be a collector first and an investor second, third, fourth of fifth lol.
I absolutely love the Nintendo 64 boxes too. Games coming in a box with your favourite characters on the front as a high quality, 3D rendered model is just super cool to me. Every side has something to look at and there's a lot to read on the back which shows and tells you exactly what you're going to get. I didn't really experience this much as a kid because I'd go to the second hand shop and buy only the cartridges for $20, but when I went to Blockbuster or VideoEZ I could pick out some Nintendo 64 boxes on the shelf and rent out their games, which usually came with a completed save file.
