Shout-out to "Pixel Game Squad" for making the end screen and "Vector U" for remixing the song!
Such a great investment chase. With how little you have into them you might as well keep them. You never thought they’d ever be worth this much already, they’ll probably keep going up! Congrats man, fantastic grades
Never clicked on a video so quick.
Thanks for watching!
5:40 "The FireRed was marked for $1" *insert Thane-"They didn't get it" 😂😂
I love this comment so much.
In my first 18 months of part time picking I've found sealed ps2, xbox, xbox 360, gba, 3ds, wii games and pokemon white in the wild! A lady I've been buying from as she cleans out her storage told me she had a sealed pokemon gameboy handheld at her lake house. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that one!
I give Brother Dave a 9.8 rating and a A++ Seal.
The closest thing to perfection that there is
he'll have trouble breathing though, with an A++ seal ;-)
Bro this was the most entertaining series of videos on your channel so far!! Damn that was really nice to follow
Thank you so much! Glad it was enjoyable
Very very nice! I’ve got a few sealed Pokémon games I’ve thought about sending to get graded as well. I just might do it after watching this. Thanks for sharing and great video!
That’s awesome man!!! Glad they all came back with high ratings. Your gonna make some bank off those!!!
Thanks brotha!
Not into Pokémon but love the grading aspect of this, great video.
Save the higher grade ones, you’ll have the twins college paid for by then with these.
Great video as usual man. You should consider contacting Wata and doing a behind the scenes of them evaluating some games. Maybe find some more sealed (if you can) and walk through them grading them....although it may be a conflict od interest having you there while they do you own games.
As for Heritage, I'm sure they have consultants that you can speak with that can give you some of their sales history, talk through values, reserves etc.
I don’t even like Pokémon games or graded games. But I was so giddy watching you guys get excited, every time you pulled one out.
It was quite an exciting box
Congrats Chase your that first guy into the grading they will talk about 20 years from now
Hard to go back and enjoy these now
DAMN! Awesome Scores man!
Thanks bro! Great to see you in the comments. Hope all is well
@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice editing a video as I type this!
Booyah man!! Can't wait to watch
Great video. Thanks for sharing your finds in the wild. That street fighter alpha is special🔥🔥🔥🔥 congrats👌
Sell the lower grade ones to make some money, and then keep the rest for now. I have never seen older sealed Pokemon games, but I have seen lots of CIB and some sealed NES games.
Careful with the hold if that's what you decide. Don't forget how inflated the market is right now. We don't know how long it will continue for.
That is what I am pondering
Yeah I’d sell a couple and make that sweet profit and then maybe hold onto whatever 1 or 2 games that you enjoy most!
yo that "i" seam has to be rare on the blue. Did you send these all out in one box? How did you overcome the anxiety of sending your babies off? Did you ensure the shipment? If so for how much? I'm worried sick about sending games in like this
Yes I insured it. They require insurance to send them in
About to send in my sealed terminator 2 for nes for grading. Probably not worth it but like you said, I’ll pay for my education!
Pokemon is on the rise now!
No doubt! Crazy hot right now
lol i randomly stumbled on this channel i just noticed i bought from in ebay
I want that Pokémon blue soooo bad lol
How long was the turnaround time on these? I've sent cards to PSA before that took 3 months to get back.
wow, nice grades on all of them, congrats
Emerald on ebay in 9.2 WATA sold for $2,700 and a VGA 85+ Sold for 5k. I've seen some sealed games at game stores but never in the wild. Never seen a good condition boxed game in the wild period. Seen some box games but they were all pretty rough
Crazy stuff!
I have seen them at Conventions, but don't own any Sealed. I do have almost all of them complete.
I got a sealed Pokemon Platinum DS along with a bunch of other DS games and a Wii U Zelda WInd Waker Deluxe CIB in a switch trade lol.. ended up being $1800 in value for a switch lite.
Sold the Platinum on eBay the next day for $599 USD lol
Insane! Well done
YES LETS GO!!!! awesome grades !!!! I would say keep them for your collection! but sell at least one of the pokemon yellows!
You need to make sure the case does. Or get any scratches because collectors like that just like sports cards. Just what I have seen with sports cards
how much is the average price per game to grade?
In my case, for the expedited service it was around 100 dollars per game
CHASE AFTER THE RIGHT PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice
I have seen many of Pokémon sealed games
i'd keep them just sell the less valued yellow one... HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE
I’ve never seen a sealed Pokémon game in person...
Hey
I tried useful the coupon code ... but it’s not working
Has it expire.?
Do you have a new one..??
Thanks Rob
List the yellow from the flea market for 5000 and see what happens. You got it for a lot less and you have a second better version still.
"It's got some gurth to it"
Put them on eBay 15000$ or just a crazy “i don’t want to sell it price “ .
not high enough
Anyone has heard of Crystal Pokemon (Not for Resale)? Do you know how much it could be worth 🙂 I found one while doing my srping cleaning.
Sell them now. The way pat contri bangs on about that heritage auctions you could probably pay off your mortgage!
Nice.
Ill trade you a switch lite for the lot?
Done ✅
Pokemon games sold very well so these games aren't rare by any means. The only real reason they're worth so much is nostalgia
Very rare when you consider they’re sealed, and in great condition
It works now the code for wata
Thanks ...👍👍👍👍
Kids' college fund right there.
sell the lowest graded one on ebay 10 day auction ending on cyber monday
Never clicked off a video so fast. Highly disagree with graded games. But you do you :3
I am very curious to how you could highly disagree with grading games. Do you not like the idea that they will never be opened?
@@nintendobelievers6211 I dont believe in sealing games behind plastic to never be opened or used again. I dont agree with an arbitrary rating system that stupidly inflates the games prices just because its sealed in a plastic box. I get really rare items or one of a kinds.
But its really egregious to me when you grade a game that is popular in demand but there isnt enough copies of. *Cough Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness*
Ive seen graded copies of Super Mario Galaxy a few years back that was selling for mid-upper hundreds, just because it was in a plastic box, where as without that, it would be worth pennies in comparison.
This isnt like baseball cards where you can still get full enjoyment from them being graded. Video Games are meant to be played.
VGA's website also looks shady af.
@casualgameplayz I completely understand your reasoning, honestly after seeing Toy Story I open every toy or game it get just in case ( I am saying this genuinely). I see grading in general more as preservation of history, especially with games that have card board cases that at the time most people threw away. Forgeting the fact that it increases the price for the crazy people that will pay top dollar for anything rare, wouldn’t you agree that if you are going to keep something sealed that it would be a good idea to get it graded for preservation alone?
@@nintendobelievers6211 If something is really rare, then sure, grade it and preserve it. No qualms.
More common stuff and high demand, low product games is where I take my main issues. Whats the point of grading Super Mario Galaxy? Its a super plentiful game. Cheap as hell, available on one of the most common systems in history.
There are people who buy loads of copies of rare in demand games, grade em all and hike the prices to ridiculousness. Taking those copies off market for the regular folk.
My main issue is people doing if for monetary reasons. Most VGA collectors and users ive come across do it for the monetary gain and not preservation as such. There is no reason why these games should be having price hikes in the hundreds. Who is paying for this shite? Like really? I get a price increase, its graded, its protected. But it shouldnt be that high.
Stuff like Pokemon GB games? Ehh I guess you can grade them for preservation? But there are box scan's plentily available online; manual scans too. Then again I dont know how common a mint in box Pokemon is or how many people have already graded mint-in box Pokemon games.
@casualgameplayz I am with you man, I don’t see the point in grading games that aren’t rare. If you look at it from the perspective from those who find sealed games and get them graded they are just participating in a system that has already been set up and with people that hold a high value on games that are graded on a universal grading scale, doesn’t it seem smart if you can increase the value of a game by getting it graded. I know I probably can’t change your mind but I just feel like if you sit in others shoes it could make more sense, why grading is actually pretty cool!
CARP...I COMP'ED THESE AS YOU BROKE THEM OUT.....NO 9.0 OR HIGHER ON EBAY...YOU SITTING ON 25K+....JUST SAYING......WOW!!!!!
That would be insane!
It’s my opinion but The sad thing is games were never meant to be encapsulated like comic books that are made of easily deteriorated paper quality. Games will have transistor leaks among other issues in the future unlike comic books. Game grading is really a scam and the losers are those that actually pay for the services. Let’s not forget the ones that actually buy the graded games.
Who hurt you man? lol
For those who love to collect and want to lock in a memory of their childhood, this is a great way to do it. Those cases help protect the games and the charm they had in history.
Instead of hurling insults from behind a keyboard, why not ask a question. I totally understand gaming purists, and wanting the “classics” to be played and not manipulated.... but I promise you, Chase has nothing but respect for the retro gaming culture and loves collecting a special part of history!
I’d genuinely love to understand why you feel that only a “loser” would want something like this?
@@thayneasaro9844 no one lol it’s the truth about graded/encased games tho. Vs comics being graded/encased. Some people have more money than sense it seems but hey to each there own!
@@JCtheComicGeek fair enough, I totally respect your view, even if I wildly disagree. Haha let’s keep the name calling to a minimum tho. It’s probably not necessary.
@@thayneasaro9844 I wasnt calling people “losers” in the bad sense. I was using the term losers as “someone losing out of money or a scam”
Definitely do not sell those games. You would be losing a ton of money.
I owned most of this crap
Sell them to Logan Paul XD
I'm pretty sure grading games is 100% a scam.
I agree, you can't trust large decades-old companies with great reputations. They're only in business to rip people off. 0/10 would not recommend.
@@PhoenixResale coming with the heat! LOL!
@@BrianManuelWUW No disrespect to Chase, Its just my own opinion.
Pokemon is overrated in my opinion!!!
Hold on to them longer.
Yeah that intro was good too. Gotta watch the whole thing now!
UA-cam tells me that your comments have "received one of the highest number of hearts from me." Congrats ;)
Also, for future grading, I suggest spending an extra $10 for a “graders report” if you were curious about how / why the scores were determined. Its a detailed diagram of the 3d box with a detailed key chart underneath, giving you the exact dings / seal issues and explains why it scored the number it did.
It makes selling them easier being they are third party authenticated. Your gonna want to keep them in those plastic bags to avoid scratches
The value will only go up, it's not like 1000 more of these are just going to show up at this point. Just keep them and sell them when it's time to send the kids off to college.
They do show up though. There is a guy with boxes and boxes of new stadium events and other insanely expensive nes games. Still in their shipping boxes. Those games are twenty years older then the ones chase has. For some reason these things are really hot now. They mite not be in a few years. It's a gamble is what I am saying.
make the kids pay their own way into college and spend it on yourself
Glad they came back in great shape! I had a sealed Pokemon Crystal, I was downsizing my collection and listed it on eBay for £250 and it sold in seconds. Two weeks later I looked on the guy's eBay account and he had flipped it for £2000. I did not do my research and he "got the right price" for sure.
lol
Congrats on the grades, Chase. Just a heads up - the “deep badge” grade sticker is actually that gold / reflective emblem on the side of the game. Not the blue circle with the box grade score. If you opted out of the deep badge for 9.0 scores or higher, the side circle would just be the “9.0” score, and not the gold hologram. I learned this with experience, I actually had no clue for a while myself. But after grading a couple dozen, I figured it out.
Good to know thanks for the info
Discount code no longer works :( is there a new one? Great video!
I would keep them. I remember seeing these games back when they first released at a toys r us
I have an original Pokemon red cartridge not the box just the cartridge is perfect condition it is open how much is it worth to a collector
Been waiting on this one! 🙏🏽
Hope you enjoyed it!
10s are possible but generally have provenance / from a sealed case. There are a few there now especially with people ordering from SiCooper whom has many sealed in their store
Awesome video 👌👌
A flea market near me had a game reseller that was yhere even in the 80s when nes and before where still in stores, he had 2 booths at the market, but in early 2000s he had case packs of all kinds of sealed games, nes, atari ,2600 ,7800 ,5200, snes, turbo, genesis, sega cd, you name it, he had all the pokemon games in the case packs from the companies, there was like 6 in each case, most of which where sealed thereselves, he was a authorized pokemon dealer for awhile, the market closed like 2 years ago, he had all kinds of awesome rare pokemon stuff from japan and america that only dealers got, posters, standees, stuff like that, and that was wen he finally put the case packs out for sale, before they were just on display in a glass case, and he apparently had tons more then just what was at the market, he had a warehouse full of games, i would love to have gone to his warehouse, but of course i was working for my parents wen the market closed, we have a catering company and work every weekend so i couldnt get over there to set it up, and i had lost my walket with his card, but yea, depending on the game he was selling them anywere frim 10 each up to like 2gs or more each, he had a bunch n64 cases the last time i was there, he was going to sell me zelda majora mask linticular cover version case for 300, my dumbass didnt buy it, but yea i seen some crazy sealed games there, he had a nes bonks adventure sealed there like in 2012, for 150 i wish i would have bought that i passed on tons of deals from him like an idiot lol,
No sealed video games but I did buy a sealed printer at a garage sale for $5 sold on ebay in 2 weeks for $500. Just starting to learn video games and your channel has been a huge help.
If you do the Heritage Auction can you not set a reserve like in most other Auctions?
You can, but on average, auctions with reserves don't sell for as much
@@ChaseAfterTheRightPrice just dont set the reserve too high ;)
I know a guy about an hour from me that has a sealed clay fighters sculptor's cut for n64 he had wata games grade it and it’s absolutely beautiful
I have never seen a sealed pokemon game, but I have seen sealed gamecube games
That's pretty awesome too!
I used your discount code for my last order!
Sell all the games now while the prices are high. They will go down in value once the craze is over..
Bro, I feel like those are a strong hold rn
It was nice to see the final outcome with grades + bonus house tour !
Watta 💀💀💀💀
Wata I got some.games.i need to.wata grade.
You should keep them don’t sell it
gosh those look amazing in those cases but to have so many of them in one place is even more amazing! great video my man. pokemon fire is insane - most recent sold ungraded i saw was $2700, some graded listed from $5000-$15,000!!!
What you should've did was sent a known fake game to check their credibility with grading. Ive seen some grading companies grade fake stuff as real.
love to see early episodes.
The deep badge is on the side btw
I was excited for you to get these back as much as you were. :)
You and me both!
If you sell em i hope you get top dollar so those twin babies can have one heck of a college fund being built up!
I got two leafgreen, and one fire red players choices for 90 each at half price books, also found resident evil 2 ps1 be in the movie version sealed for 90.
I should get them graded
So overated
It seems to me the higher grades were the ones they cleaned relative to the condition
Man I'd love to film a sealed Pokémon game on a hunt! So far its open copies I've been filming. Either way, awesome job man and I appreciate the info, will look into the grading services.
damn dude! Those are like 15k a piece now!
the wood trim in your house is beautiful
Thank you!
I would keep them as a future investment.
Hold onto them!!
great video - just subbed. great presentation man
Thanks a lot!
That's so awesome! I was very excited to see this video!
Average sale price for all of them is $9,572. A lot of the items that sold weren't graded as high as what you have. I would say you easily have $10,000 of gross income from these games. Nice!
I'd send them into Heritage - it's safer and more likely to get a higher price (but you'll have to pay a higher commission) - seems like eBay has lots of scam buyers these days who will open a return and send you back an empty box - why take the risk on such high value items?
Graded video games are an unproven market and soooooo young. They could go up or down drastically. It's a gamble at this point. I would err on the side of them going up and hold for now chase.
I just got 2 Brand New Sealed Zelda Game Cube Games last week at the Thrift in our City $2.99 each also 4 used Zelda's in the Goody Cart, perfect timing.
