This was such a beautiful heartfelt episode. Rachael Lillis' incredible talent shone on this episode and many others since. Playing Misty, Jessie, and Jigglypuff proved that she was, beyond a doubt, one of the best actresses who shaped my childhood, not to mention one of the best singers. I liked the fact that Officer Jenny was mentioned losing her temper in Neon Town after breaking up a fight when Ash and his friends first arrived. This Officer Jenny sort of reminded me of the one at the beauty contest in "Beauty and the Breeder in season 4 where she literally screamed at Jessie and James, and kicked them and their Pokémon out of the contest. I extend my sincere condolences to Veronica and Rena, as well as Rachael's family and her many friends and co-stars.
I met Rachael Lillis once at Fan Expo in Toronto. I was nervous meeting her, but she was so kind and easy to speak to. I, like many, many others grew up with Rachael as one of our childhood voices, and she will be deeply missed! ❤️ 🕊
