I don't play mmos well from bed but I craft well from there. :) I like the 'art journal' idea and the 'zen doodles' look great. Thank you.
I am horrible with a drop spindle but have considered a wheel esp since it would get my legs moving. I just can't seem to manage doing everything I need to do at once to make the drop spindle work for me esp since I can't see it. Your craft room looks like so much fun. I have a few art supplies to stay busy with but I get scared and don't use them. Silly me. I feel like 5yos do better than I do with my clumsy fingers. I really respect that you get yourself the good stuff and seem to enjoy it.
Drop spindling takes practice. I actually use the "park and draft" method, where you "flick" it to make it spin then put it b/w your knees or b/w your elbow and side, then work the spin into the fiber that way. There are lots of videos, "afranquemont" is the best. I really, really, urge you to use your art supples. Look up "art journal" her on YT, it doesn't have to be perfect. :-)

When I first got it, Neil left for work and said that he better not come home and see the cat with a label on her butt! Haha!
