I heard that the regional had internet problems so the time between R1 and R2 was immense. R1 didn't finish until around 12pm local time which was brutal to some of my friends competing. Also a lot of the time I believe that stream matches are selected and start later than everyone else in hopes of reducing time between rounds but with the internet problems it seems that several rounds were one-sided 2-0s thus throwing off the schedule even further.
They should really have another set ready, either recorded or in progress to jump to. I know a lot of people who just don’t watch because of the insanely hype killing gaps between rounds.

They can’t. This event is held live, and they can’t move on until EVERY round is done, and jumping in mid set doesn’t work because they only have 1 stream setup per tournament on a specific table.
I wonder what changed. They used to be able to switch to a different set back in gen 7.

Len Deuel seems very knowledgeable and well spoken, but he definitely needs to work on his energy. He's consistently calm and quiet even during surprising or high-impact turns. Lots of potential as a caster if he improves this, though.

Why do the commentators always say things like 100 percent, or for sure, absolutely not listening to the player and forced staring with dead fish eyes in the cam 😂 Like this isn't hardcore professional esport commentary, just chill the fuck out lmao
I do not understand why these guys keep using Dondozo. It's such an overrated pokémon and a terrible strategy. Not only does it put you at the 2 v 1 disadvantage, but because Dondozo is locked on the field, it eliminates any guesswork for your opponent.
