Abby, this is a beautiful foundation on you! Although you will most likely have a better match in shade 2, it gives the nicest glow to your skin and looks so natural. Your review has made me want to order it for my dry/mature skin. I love Westman Atelier and do wear and like her stick foundation. Thank you for doing such a thorough review.

Thank you, Alisa! You are sweet! This is a a DIP manicure and the color was called Creme Royal. It was supposed to be a bit lighter on - but turned out darker than I thought. BUT I do like it! xoxo
Abby, I thought it was just me but I felt the finger application looked best compared to the brush. I feel the foundation made your skin nice and even without the look of any visible product. I was surprised at how well it stayed after all those hours of wear. I don't wear foundation any more on a regular basis, so needn't worry about this now.🇦🇺💖🕊
I recently purchased this tint and I luuuurve it. I can even use it on my under eye area where only my Sisley concealer can go. I also like the natural result and decent coverage. I don’t like heavy makeup. This just looks great! And also makes my skin feel good, no tightness that I sometimes experience with other foundations / tints.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Such beautiful coverage. My only issue is that it doesn’t set down but I was able to set it down with powder (but it looked so pretty not set; just seemed like it would skip and slide all over my face).

Hi Abby! It looked very natural on your skin with the lighter coverage. I personally prefer that…as I have adopted the “less is more” mentality, as I get older. I think I will purchase this at some point. I always struggle with “ shade choice” also. Love that brush though…😊 🌴💕

This foundation seems similar to the newest Sisley foundation….everything from the applicator to the product. If it is, i love that one! Hi Abby! I found the WA stick to be a little too heavy for my dry skin until I use it in combination with the Chanel water fresh tint. I swipe the foundation on my areas of redness mainly and use the Chanel to spread the stick foundation which (in my opinion) turns out beautifully! Also, I personally think the drops looks incredible on you and I am surprised the 0.5 is so natural looking. I don't think it looks light at all. xx

I couldn’t wear the stick foundation either. I have very dry skin and it clung to every dry patch.

I love this color on her. How Devine to not have to use a concealer and still look radiant and NOT at all like she used a complexion product that was too light. I totally need this product in my life. So what I’m looking for. Gucci did it again

Hi Abby: Looking forward to tomorrow with Bisma. Got two new fragrances that I must tell you about but they are not new to you. First was Santal Complet....was a total mistake for me despite ALL the many positive reviews. Could not smell it but my husband could and he stepped into the room I was in one evening and told me I had to let that one go......he hated it. Then came Demi's fragrance and I was complete again. Total magic on my skin and I can spray it to my hearts content since it does not have beast projection. I love it! Nothing negative from hubby so all is well. Whew! What a roller coaster ride for a few days. Cannot wait to see what you and Bisma have for us........see you soon! :)

This looks great on you! I'm on a foundation hold, but I will probably try it. It looks up my alley! For some reason, I actually thought this was going to be another glow primer product! lol! I didn't realize it was a skin tint! I do love the stick foundation though, but I tend to just use it right after skincare (so my skin is still dampish) and dab it on my t-zone and red cheeks. I have very dry skin, but I wonder if the humidity in the climate I'm in at the moment helps. I've never tried to build that up to full coverage either, it's just a quick out the door product for me with some cream blush and lip gloss. Very helpful review!

Summer fridays skin tint is amazing and less expensive. Little less coverage, no sticky feel like WA and I have dry skin.
Def use another dense brush and no need to spend 125 for a brush. I have a flat kabuki brush that is nice. Or you can buy a WA brush gently use and sanitized from someone on macari as I did. I got her highlighter brush and I think it will be great for summer fridays skin tint and my WA highlights I bought
I was looking at the Summer Friday's Tint the other day and was intrigued! I will for sure check that out and yes- this was a splurge brush. I love the other brush I have from her- so enjoying it so far. I will for sure pick up the Summer Friday tint. xoxo
I'm a shade I in the stick and I got the drops in a II and it works great for me. I thought I could even go darker. Your complexion seems darker than me so I would definitely go 2 or even 3 - you might want to contact them for a consult on the color. I am really loving these drops! The older I get I feel less makeup actually looks better on my skin and this works great in that respect.
Yep, I agree! Less is more is working better for me too! I almost went with shade 3 because that is what Gucci was wearing and of course, i want to be her. BUT I sent in my picture and they said .5 or II. Probably because 1 was not available. I will sign up for a consult and see what they think and have shade II showing up soon! Woo hoo! xoxo

Hi Abby! I ordered the shade 0.5 as well and it was to light, it made me look like a Geisha. I wear the shade II in the stick foundation and wonder if that would be a better match. Looking forward to seeing your follow up on this foundation/ skin tint. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 😊

What do you think about the brush now you have it a little longer? Is it soft? Do you still like it? I really like this kind of stubby dense brushes for foundation but that price 😵💫

Hi Abby, I sent in a picture, and WA matched me in shade 0.5. I am definitely fair to light with Neutral undertones. It took only one day to hear back from the WA team. I’d advise viewers to use the free service. And the brush is definitely worth the splurge. Have a great day! ❤️.

You too Abby! I actually asked the WA team if I should get a second shade in addition to 0.5, and they said not necessary. My gut tells me I also like the next shade deeper with a Neutral undertone. Like you, I’ll gladly mix 2 shades to get a perfect match ! Can’t wait to see you model ll.
Looks pretty on and I agree - the side with fingertips looked like a bit more coverage but maybe a bit light in color overall. My .5 is on the way and based on your review it will be too light. WA shades are so hard - I need rosy undertones and the options are way too light for me. Thank you.
I agree! I have the hardest time with the WA shades and do understand that our skin is not all one color but I am usually matched to foundations with a cool slightly rosy undertone and they don't have a lot of those options. You might be surprised... .05 might just work!
I haven't been lured to buy a foundation in awhile, so thought why not...I got this a couple days ago and expected it to be lighter than it is-I thought it would be along the lines of the Burberry Radiance Primer (back in the day it wasn't a "primer" but more fluid and light) This feels heavy on my skin, like an oil + cream mixed together, so not that great for Mesa, Arizona weather which has been over 105* the last couple of days-I got shade IV, it works however I wish it was a tad rosey/peacher than the name...I am glad I got to try however I don't see myself repurchasing this-I'd rather keep using my La Mer Radiant Fluid foundation and mixing with the La Mer SPF or adding in a La Mer serum if I want skincare benefits from a foundation, as well it makes it more sheer-
I think those with oily skin will not like this, for I can tell I have this on and I don't have oily skin-

I’m very tempted to pick this up because of the skin care benefits but think I’ll wait. I just recently received a replacement of my favorite - Chanel water fresh tint (original one) that was not available in US for so long. Clearly, the formulations of these two products are very different but what are your thoughts about how they compare in appearance on your face?
Nancy- I still love the Chanel Water Fresh Tint! It just gives your skin such an angelic look and feels very plumping and hydrating. This one feels more like a dry oil and firming. I feel like I get more glow from the Chanel. I hope this helps! xoxo
I think the finger tips gave you more coverage. Not surprising because I’m sure the brush ate up a little bit of product. I actually like the shade. I’m going to go for 1 even though the shade finder, based on my other foundations, put me all over the place.
Yes- I think the fingertip method definitely gave me more coverage and my shade finder was all over the map as well! I even got a VII match. LOL! So 1 sounds like the shade to wait for. xoxo

It does not feel tacky at all. It really feels like a dry oil that just melts into the skin. No sticky hair to the face - issues. LOL! I get it! I will keep you posted on correct color. xoxo
It doesn’t leave a tacky feeling - feels like a dry oil moisturizer and my hair (about Abby’s length) does not stick at all - I hate that too. I really love this foundation ❣️❣️

I can’t get over how good you look in the shade that is apparently you say too late for you. When that happens to me I look like a ghost. When first trying the Westman atelier foundation stick I started off with one and two and then three and four and I could not believe that four was actually my shade because the application goes on very orange like but blends in to my perfect shade and I am very similar to your coloring. I am oily but find as long as I keep using blotting papers that this actually wears better than my Tom for Traceless foundation stick but the trick is to only use a little and use a Very dense brush. I’m going to skip on this because the glow will be too much for my oily skin but otherwise I’d be all over this as I love her products
Zoe- I find her foundations shades - are all over the map for me. I tried V and loved that shade. AND when I do the Foundation Finder- it gives me shades from 0.5 to VII- LOL! So I think the .5 works because it is a sheer formula and I can bronze it up! BUT I am looking forward to trying shade II or maybe 4 like YOU!! xoxo

I do agree! I have had a hard time matching the foundation in this brand as well. AND when I do the foundation finder - it is ALL over the map! LOL! I sent in my pic as well and got .5 and II so we shall see how II goes! xoxo

Well this is a first for me to say I am not getting this one because it is too oily for me. I don't like serums or oils on my skin and my skin doesn't react well to them. So this is an easy no for me. Your skin looked good even in the 0.5 so you can always mix it with the stick foundation which could make the stick less dry on your skin. I did just reorder the biscuit contour stick and a new lit whi h are my 2 favorite WA products.
Woo hoo! Isn't it funny when you are excited that you don't have to buy something. LOL! I don't think you will like this if you don't like the feel of serums or oils on the skin. It does melt in but definitely glides on like an oil/serum. AND yes- she has other great products. YOU don't have to love them all! xoxo

Well that’s fine didn’t answer if you’re 20 but when you’re in your 50s and you have pigmentation and other things you need more coverage what’s the point that’s ridiculous.
