I love how relatable your videos are. Others edit out scenes but I love that you keep it all in…like when the insects came inside when you were fixing your tree and Gracie helped you and how Gracie helped you unpack your amaryllis today. Your videos are so humble and inspire me to keep my garden up. I have learned that things don’t always go as planned but everything is still ok. Gracie is such a great helper! Thank you for your wonderful videos❤
Love the natural tree, magnolia garland and wreath so much!!! Thanks for the shoutout-it was my pleasure to help out a bit with the pots and best of all, it started a lovely friendship with you! I have a video coming out tomorrow (shameless plug ☺️) about my dried flower Christmas tree (inspired by you years ago) in my Christmas series on UA-cam. Thanks for sharing everything! Gracie is adorable as always 🥰
How wonderful that the artificial tree from the basement has a new life in the garden with all the natural elements added into the boughs. 🌲 You were truly inspired, Danielle! I am very interested to do something similar for next year which will give me time to continue collecting all the dried flowers and stems.
This video just got better and better. I was dying laughing when Grace took off with your amaryllis bulb. Then she tore into that box with so much energy. Finally, your zipper on your coat gave out. I love the way you just rolled with all the action. I have to admit, I forgot what I was watching a video about, but this was definitely more entertaining than standing in line for Black Friday sales. Thank you for your video.
Hi Danielle, the outdoor tree turned out beautiful! and the magnolia garland looks gorgeous on the hummingbird way arch. That wreath is so pretty! I love your ladybug train! I wondered if your dad puts one around their tree too. Your so kind to donate those amaryllis to the nursing home, I can just imagine how happy they will be to receive such a beautiful gift. God bless you! I thought your amaryllis bulb was a goner after Grace grabbed the bag, lol she was really excited today 😄😍
I love the tree and actually everything is beautiful. And as others say Grace does stole the show! Very pretty and natural with Grace running around makes it real.
Love the repurposed tree, so beautiful! Also like the magnolia leaves used in the arch, as I have a huge magnolia tree and enjoy using the leaves for decorating also. Grace is a hoot!
What a great video, between Gracie, the bulb chase and your zipper issue it made for good viewing. As an amaryllis addict, I have a few kits from Longfieldgardens that I’ve used. Always beautiful and thanks for sharing. The tree and garland perfection as always!!!!!!
I think you were feeling as silly as Grace today when filming this video Danielle. You seemed to be having so much fun. And your reaction to the busted zipper 😅… priceless. Have a great Thanksgiving with your family!
I LOVE THIS DOG SOOO MUCH!!! She is such a garden juvel!!!! 😄💖🌞 Grace is really SUCH a sweet one!!! And her ideas are the best!!! 😂 Always wants to play with you ... puppy energy at its best!!! 😍🐶🌻 I'm very much looking forward to your Paperwhite-experiment!! All the best to you and your family!!,! 🤗🌼
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who let's my puppies compost for me lol. I let my puppies rip up the brown paper that comes in my online orders. I ball it up and through it around for them to play with then pick up the small pieces for my compost bin.
I forgot to tell you I pressed my first flower it turned out gorgeous I'm putting it on the front of a cookbook that I am creating for my two granddaughters I'm pressing the other one now and they have requested recipes written in the hand of my grandparents and pictures of my grandparents in the recipe book and I thought what a wonderful idea and I wanted to share that with you I'm here making the books and the flowers will be placed in cellophane package and put on the front of the book.
Thank you for sharing your videos, and this one was extra special with the antics by Grace. Love the reuse of the Christmas tree outside all decorated with dried flowers and leaves! Danielle, you have the magic touch for growing amaryllis!
Grace was such a nutter in this one, and I adore it! Just got fresh tree today to decorate my third-ever dried flower winter tree. Lots of celosia this year, dahlias, feverfew, strawflower, hydrangea, and a million other species :) I've enjoyed every style of tree you've done - cannot pick a favorite! As for amaryllis, the new Red Pearl I ordered this year also had red blotch, and the Naranja bulbs I kept from last year are not budding, just leaves. Not sure what went wrong. You always make re-blooming them look so easy!
Same thing happened with my tree and I spent 2 hours cutting the lights out. Ironic thing is I decorated the tree the same way you did (nature inspired decor) but have mine inside! First time I have not used an ornament and my family loves it! You will start a new trend, the tree is fabulous!
Hi Danielle! Your outdoor Christmas tree decorated with dried flowers is GORGEOUS! What a great way to use an old artificial Christmas tree! That ladybug train is so cute ! 🐞🐞🐞You yard looks so festive. Sorry about your coat. You can actually have a new zipper put in your coat. Some dry cleaning companies put in new zippers or a local seamstress. I LOVE amaryllis! I ordered a bunch this year. I have three already in bloom. Love your videos! However the star of the show today was Grace! She is such a doll!
That tree is so magnificent I don't know if you watch the video but there's a little red caboose going around and around at the bottom and I thought I remember her saying she put a train going around and around if so amazing it's almost as if supernatural!!!!
You outside tree last year with the gourds was my favorite, so stunning! But the artificial tree with elements from your garden is beautiful as well. Love the color palette. Your garland on the arches are amazing! Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!
Gracie is so much fun!!! She is full of energy today❤She must love Christmas 🎄 Thank you for the tour of your Christmas touches🥰 You are so inspiring! I really need to up my flowers for drying this next year. I have a box of Strawflowers and some pressed pansy’s and Hellebore and that’s it. God bless you all Danielle. BTW I love when your hubby does an appearance 😊 I would also love to see your daughter but I’m thinking she must not want to be videotaped. I would have felt the same, as a young girl.
Thank you for recommending the Christmas tree in your dining room. I purchased it and love it, just decorated it today. Love your little train around the tree outside.
Love the fake tree outside! Great idea. Your poor coat..sorry but I laughed 😅 You are great that you left it in your video. Life happens. Your pup is so fun to watch with a box lol Have a wonderful weekend 🙌🌲🌲🙌
Love the natural outdoor tree! Will you be doing the other tree like last year? It was beautiful also. How many amaryllis do we actually need? All of them😂😂😂😂
Hi friend! I bought my set on Amazon. Here is a similar set - amzn.to/3B3Z9tI The small ladybug train is called an eggliner. It’s made by Bachman Trains. You could also try a local hobby train shop, but I’ve had mixed luck buying used trains.
Yesterday I received 3 of the Longfield Gardens amaryllis in the twig pot kits. I did cut a little drainage hole at the bottom of the plastic insert. Fingers crossed this will help keep the plants for next season. Any advice is welcome! Thanks Danielle!
Love your repurposed tree and the ladybug train! Will Jung be carrying your Saving Grace and Martha Miller dahlia seeds this year, and if so, do you know when they will be available on the website? Looking forward to growing those in my garden this year!
I have always wanted to try an amaryllis plant! For my first flower to choose from what do you recommend of the three choices? They are pricey but you really get me inspired to try one, I’m scared hahaha! Thank you for sharing!
What a thoroughly entertaining video! Beautiful dried flower outdoor tree! Such a GREAT idea! Gracie and the broken zipper added such an element of humor! Question: the red splotches on the amaryllis--you indicated it is diseased? I had that on at least one of mine last year and didn't realize that is a problem. All of mine are still in dormancy--I want blooms in later spring so will bring them out in January. If the red splotches reappear I should get rid of that amaryllis?
Brilliant use of the old Christmas tree and perfect companion to the garland.
I love your dried flower tree. Something magical about it.
Grace has got the holiday spirit😊
LOL! This was a very fun and informative video. You gave us lots of smiles this morning. Thank you.

I love the tree and actually everything is beautiful. And as others say Grace does stole the show! Very pretty and natural with Grace running around makes it real.
I made my first natural wreath with magnolia leaves and seed pods, cedar, pine, arborvitae, pine cones and holly. Love it. Your tree looks amazing. ❤
Love the repurposed tree, so beautiful! Also like the magnolia leaves used in the arch, as I have a huge magnolia tree and enjoy using the leaves for decorating also. Grace is a hoot!

I absolutely loved your dried flower tree last year! This year’s is beautiful also. Great idea to repurpose that tree!
I adore your rusty colors and peaceful natural garden florals.
The ladybug train 😂 it’s so cute! And so you!!
That tree would've been pretty through the fall, too! I love it! Grace is so cute!

I purchased an amaryllis bulb from a big box store. Glad I decided to pot it up before gifting. The bulb looked dead. Those bulbs are beautiful. 🌼🐝

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas! Thank you for the coupon codes-perfect for holiday gifts!
Very nice. How did you anchor your artificial tree so it doesn’t blow over?
😊

do you rehydrate the roots on bulbs waking up?
Hi - where do you buy your tall cream ceramic pots that you grow amaryllis in? Thanks
How do you water the amaryllis if there’s moss on top of the dirt? I am worried that the moss will stay wet and cause mold to grow on the bulb itself.
Can I ask you what your opinions of waxed amaryllis bulbs are? Your experience with amaryllis would make your thoughts valuable to me.
Bummer about the red spot virus on the one bulb. Have you ever tried to cure a bulb with that?
👍😊💚🎄🚉🙏🙏🙏
Grace does not listen well. 😮
