Killer video man! I purchased the 1/6 scale Yaiba Kunsanagi through Sideshow. It's freakin' amazing! The bike is huge and actually has headlights and speed display that light up. I purchased Johnny Silverhand to actually go on display with the bike since Keanu Reeves in an actual motorcyclist. The V male that it came with is pretty amazing as well. I was looking to purchase these for my nephew who fell in love them. These are pretty damn bad ass! Thank you for the review!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the review! That 1/6 Yaiba looks so cool in photos. The light up feature is definitely killer. I wish they'd make the Figma Johnny sometime so I could put him with the bike as well.
Nice review, I appreciate all the details you cover. I will say at the price they sell these figures I expect the quality to be a bit higher. Goodsmile really should update their product page images to reflect the final product.
Did they ever announce a figma for Female V? I have the Queen figma on the transforming Johanna/Anat figure and wanted to set them up next to each other. Seemed like a fun idea to have two characters voiced by Cherami Leigh on their motorcycles.
I'm so salty 🧂 they didn't include a second mantis blade. Also why did they put the hole for the stand in the one stop that had a logo they totally could've done it below.
Awesome review. Indeed the face paint is a disappointment, but an overall good set (bike and character). You're the only video I found on this and it was as stated before. Awesome. I'm ordering my set right now. Thanks
Actually,V is a self insert character. It was what he was, basically You in the Universe of Cyberpunk and it depends on You on how you want your V to be personalized. "V are One" "V are United" "V are You" "V are V"
Very cool! Could make a short video of the McFarlane V on the bike to see how the scale is? I was hoping to use the McFarlane V with the bike without it looking too weird.
That's a really solid review, thanks! I'm not as enthusiastic, though - hell, I think that GSC kinda dropped the ball here, especially considering the price. A single pixelated face that's empty from the bottom, those wrist joints (they don't look like that on official photos - and figmas tend to have pretty accurate official photos!), not many details (to think that a McFarlane figure's pants look better than a figma's...), weird choice of accessories (one mantis blade? no gorilla arms?), weirdly dark Samurai logo (and that hole! what happened to the great tradition of figma hole covers?). Oh - and NO FEMALE V. The bike is cool and I'm glad that I got it, but, again, there could be more for this kind of money (and it would be nice if V didn't look so awkward on the bike). GSC is really toeing the line when it comes to figma prices these days.
@@Soundout12: 12500 and she's a GSC/AmiAmi exclusive! But yeah, these days some figmas cost as much as full-fledged PVCs. It's ridiculous. And it's even more ridiculous if certain rumours are true - apparently GSC raises figma prices to offset the artifically low prices of Nendos and POPs (but especially Nendos, as they are the most popular GSC line). Not cool either way. :/
@@Soundout12 Man i remember when they first showed off there prototype for the V fig and I always wondered Since they showed him when are they gonna release him and I just randomly came across your video, thank you for the info

Agreed

They haven't announced a Female V yet, but since the Nendoroid line got one, I hope we'll get a figma one.

I’m glad my review helped you decide to get them!

The only thing I'm not a fan of on this figure is how the hole on the back for the stand to insert into cuts into the jacket artwork.
Yeah, its a bummer. I wish the hole for the stand was under the logo

Made a post on my Community tab with a couple pictures!
@@Soundout12 Amazing! Thank you! Would you say this would still fit or does the bike come off as too small? What's your opinion on this?
The bike comes off as too small I think when he’s doing normal riding, but him in a stepping off the bike firing pose works fairly good
@@Soundout12 perfekt! I just wanted to place the bike behind V and Johny. I guess I'm gonna buy one then. Thanks for your help.

Figma prices really hurt lately. I’ve gotten a lot pickier. Like the Metroid Dread Samus is 12500 yen 😬

Where did you get your V? I have been looking everywhere and he is still pre-order?
I got the Japanese release which came out last month. I left a link to HLJ in the description and they might still have him

How it looks the mcfarlane one on the bike?
Check the community tab on my channel, I posted a picture of the McFarlane V on the Figma Bike!
@@Soundout12 thanks bro
The digital print feels lazy for a high end figure, other than that this figure is awesome.
I didn't know there was a Silverhand prototype
HOLY shit
Yep!! It was a grayscale model so hopefully a color version gets shown at the next hobby show
Really hoping they make some of the edgerunners crew and not just nenderoids
Me too. I doubt they’ll make everybody in Figma but Figmas of at least David and Lucy would be great
I didn’t even know they made this
They got announced so long ago too that its kind of insane
People need to make custom accessories and mods to this figure. It’s so bad
I would honestly be down if someone some different arms and head options. With Figmas, they’re easy to swap parts if the options existed
Not a issue? For 200$ it's a fkng issue. F figma. The bike looks cool though. 😎 stickers r a good touch .makes your bike different than others
