I just found your video and if you said you're not included unofficial releases and then include the song Agust D which is only on soundcloud because of the sampling? If you included it shouldn't you have also included rm's first mixtape which is also only on sc because of sampling?

Tbh since this man van write and speak English. He really has a place in the real hip hop scene that's mainstream. All they mostly listen to are European or like African American artists and RM tbh is a good competition for them.
Cypher pt 2 was their raw anger and frustration and all 3 rappers killed it. Suga's verse also deserves recognition in it, lots of anger but also great metaphors and rhymes
RMs tone just gets me every time. He has such a unique voice in kpop. Probably why he and changbin are my top 2 faves.

This video is not "Best Rappers", there are really good rappers who didn't make this list, and some average rappers who have one of the best raps ever in Kpop. Again, this is just highlighting some of the best rap verses in Kpop songs based on Flow / Rhyme Scheme / Lyrics / Delivery / and all of the sub-categories in those areas.
Not to mention, that this list isn't accurate. There are so many more Raps, that may are better than some on this list but I think we can say, that at least Top 10 is pretty accurate ^^
I think it’s pretty close to accurate on the full list 🤔 without having a biased mindset, you can’t make a case for that many other verses in Kpop I feel.

@@purplebangtan4553 As a Namjoon biased I can confirm what the original person was saying. It holds a lot of truth. Namjoon is appreciated in some ways, but not in the correct ones. A lot of people in the fandom just see him as the leader and the sexy guy, care for him only for ships (namjin for example), often forget he is the main rapper and even say Yoongi is better than him. Even if mono broke X and Y records, where do you find people in the fandom still talking about the mixtape? I have seen a lot of armies that don't know about it / don't listen to it

I'm happy to see that RM's verse in Cypher pt 2 is on this list. His skills have been overlooked by netizens and armies ever since his mixtape 'Mono' came out. His first mixtape still exists, his fire verses still exist and he is well-deserving of his main rapper position. Thank you for appreciating RM, Matthew (I think that's your name, if not sorry lol), because his rapping skills are slept on. Also, I'm still waiting for another mixtape from him that will blow my mind (hopefully something like his first mixtape, 'RM' since I like this style better because I think it suits his voice.)

It’s on a mixtape. RM isn’t able to make money off of it. An official release is like Agust D’s albums. Official Kpop albums branded as mixtapes.
RM’s first mixtape is a true “mixtape”, sampling beats from other artists to show what he can do. Although the raps are really good, we can’t include them. It’s why those songs are unavailable on platforms like Apple Music and Melon Music (Korean).

Even though I am an army i love all rappers here.. I don't know all of them but I'll try to know them more.. Since I got into K-pop RM is my favorite rapper.. I kinda feel he is under appreciated in his rapping skills... Fandom always see him as a leader but forget he is the main rapper. Everyone think he can't rap fast.. You should listen to joke then.. Sometimes I wish he wasn't the leader so people won't overshadow( I don't know if this is the right word) his talents (in rapping, song writing ,producing etc )over leader position.. But other hand BTS can't get a another leader like him.. I think his leadership skills are one reason behind BTS success.. Hope everyone will understand he is not just a leader or dad of BTS..

Every army knows that Yoongi's verse in Cypher pt.2 is dope but for me RM's verse owned it. Switching two languages in a rap is hard and he did it flawlessly. RM's rap and lyricism make him a real monster.

I feel like BIGBANG’s rapline and rap prowess is really swept over by a lot of newer Kpop fans. They may not be the fastest or the hardest hitting with screaming voices, but when it comes to just perfect raps that fit the song like a glove and impeccable chemistry, and consistency, no one touches them (in my opinion).
I think T.O.P’s and G-Dragon’s verse in both BANG BANG BANG and FXXK IT deserve a spot, just for how well it just fit in. Greeaaat effort though, that you put in into this video. Big up👍
@2 COOL anyone who has a basic understanding of flows, delivery and versatility will realise that BIGBANG's rappers are amazing. Unfortunately, nowadays people only care for the "shock value" so they're only impressed by super fast rap or screaming voices...

That screaming voice and fastest are known as flow, delivery and syllables per bars achieved through wordplays, inner rhymes and end rhymes. They can't achieve what the top in here has achieved. RM, Suga, Bobby and Zico are the true masters of Korean hip hop. Just accept that fact and life will be a lot easier you know? You dont have to stick with the same old bad boy era to be a good rapper.
Trust me no one sleeps on bigbangs rapline. Meanwhile almost all know them and a lot even use them to demean 3rd and 4th gen rappers who are tbh better than top gd. Damn, the lyrics video for Bobby - Rockstar really doesn't show you how savage his rap was, full of google translation... But I'm happy to see how many times he appeared here >D Totally deserved! Can say this is pretty decent compilation overall. (surprised Suga's The Last is so low, it's one of the few masterpieces for me). Although I'd definitely insert some places for B.I's Waterfall and One&Only, quite underrated :D

It’s not an official release because he used beats by other artists (Do You, etc). It’s a “mixtape” because mixtapes aren’t official albums. I wish it was an official release because I’d definitely include it, but it’s not something he can make money on so it can’t be included ~

SUJU aren’t really a rap focused group obviously but damn, Eunhyuk in Dear Two probably has one of the coolest progressions in the list ending with a melodic rap that matches the melody of the strings. It’s really cool and something I’ve never heard before in Kpop.

I don’t think that’s true. At least in the (G)I-DLE discord, even the rap heads we have there generally place it top5 or so. It’s certainly experimental though, hard to fault people for not liking it, but you should respect it.

Noeasy really didn't have anything rap centric on the album, which is okay. My favorite is probably Changbin's Thunderous rap or maybe the Domino rap? I'm not sure.
