@@oRexter Hey man yeah I did finally 😅 I basically had to scrap lightening cable idea thought to myself “hell with this” I bought a fairly cheap USB Hub off Amazon it's got a cat 5 socket on one end and at least 4 USB Ports to use. What was interesting was I tried going into lightening direct from interface didn't work then I decided to plug him into the hub. Instantly got light an it was powered give that try my friend as I think it's fail-safe plan for older gear you want to use stream. let me know how you get on ☺️

Nice collection of quality USB hubs, I was curious because there are a lot of garbage hubs out there and I need hubs that can support the power of portable external hard drives and smart phones which the garbage ones fail to connect. This video has given me inspiration to buy a new one.

None of these change the fact the the port on your laptop your plugging it into sucks. Still doesnt change the performance of having lots of gear, like: wired mouse, wireless keyboard, external hard drive, desktop speakers, gaming headphones, drawing pad, small usb midi controller..........your laptops USB port cannot handle this amount of gear, even with the hub.
What do you recommend? My laptop only has one USB 3.0 port. I want to transfer data from my multiple 5TB and 2TB Seagate external hard drives onto my new 18TB Western Digital external hard drive.

I simply want to transfer large files from the 5TB and 2TB drives to the 18TB. I need at least 2 USB 3.0 ports hence why I need a hub.

I'd like to find a 'wireless' usb hub (with switches to turn on/off individual ports) to take with my laptop. I have a hub with switches but has cable and the cable it get's in the way on my desk.
Can anybody say why USB C Hubs do not have a female usb C connector??? instead of a cable leading in. they always go bad first and some immediately!!. Smart phones have proven them reliable so why not the hubs?? I can only think this makes for repeated buys by the public...SMH

Charging means the usb hub supports more things that require power. I like the ones with external power source not draining the laptop
