Well, if only talking about smartphone alone and not looking at other products of Samsung/Huawei, Samsung still have a higher market share than Huawei last year, although it might be true that if US didn't sanction Huawei, Huawei might overtake Samsung. Still, out of top 7 phone brands, 4 of them are Chinese brands. Huawei, Xiaomi,vivo, oppo. I have to say Chinese smartphones offers a better pricing as well as quality wise, it's much more value and worthy. Me myself switched from Samsung to OnePlus a year ago. Samsung overall revenue is equal to almost 20% of Korea's GDP, that alone is a pretty impressive achievement, Samsung and LG still remain the top 1 and 2 TV manufacturer in the world, beating several Japanese and Chinese brands including hinsense, TCL, Panasonic, Sony.

I'm not certain, but i remember that despite being a really valuable market, no pharmaceutical company holds more than 10% of it, so the wealth is very diluted. And a feck load of money is constantly going into R&D, which drags the value down i think.
@@Santisima_Trinidad Nah.. I'm not trying to be a smart ass but the reality is big pharm is in the top 3 lobbyist in the country, they are the one of the wealthiest entities in the world.
@@Flight_Pattern so, i went and searched, and biggest pharma company in the world by revenue (not company value) was Johnson and Johnson at 56.1 billion. 5th place was at 46.9 billion.
To be clear, i don't know the exact conversion between revenue and brand valuation, but they should certainly be up there.
Edit: should also note that pharmaceuticals get put under a lot of scrutiny, and so would put more money towards lobbying in an attempt to ensure products can get through FDA approval and not get shot down by some disgruntled party on s technicality.
