Before Jio 1GB of data used to cost Rs.100-150 and now you know what the cost is. This is the reason for drastic increase in user base. So there is no problem in acknowledging the contribution of Reliance in making conditions favourable for such an increase in user base. And that ONLY 16% is within 5 years and previous 25% was from the beginning when the internet was introduced in India. Do not ignore rate of increase.

Lol i got my connection during 2009 when i was in 7th std but speed was fucked up and data plans were so expensive those days. End of 2017 was golden period when data cost like peanuts and so more and more people could afford it.
@rockingalvin2012 lol internet wasn't much popular here in india and it was limited to school and office. During 2004-2005 i remember it took us 15mins to load one image from google in our school computer. The speed was terrible and struggle was real lol.

Woow, I live in small country Croatia with small economy and first time I went "online" in 1999. Using internet here was nothing strange for that time at least for middle/work class (good old ICQ chat). Cheap and fast adsl I got in 2004.
