Can also play 15. Definitely a better test prospect. Hope he has a great game.
@ad2040 fully agreed he will push SFM all the way for 2nd choice. SFM can be brilliant and erratic at the same time given his age, but Jordan looks more steady operator like Polly.
It would be great to see/ get Rassie on the show. One day it would be great to have a masterclass in coaching from Rassie's perspective. I just look at how physical today’s 9s are and have the opposition guessing at the ruck as well as speed of ball. He looks like a scared kitten near contact and is far from the physicality expected of a springbok. If we refer to some of the great 9s SA has produced as a standard, Joost, fourie, faff etc that’s the norm. Grant is all of the above 👆🏻

All this says to me is that with all this experimenting with players and wins that we would think should have been won with bigger margins, is that, come 2027 World Cup the Springboks will lift the trophy for the fifth time, three in a row making history like nothing ever seen.
Did l hear right, Fassi started against Scotland? l don't think so, not in the match 23, 7-1 split, Grant W only back. Willie Le Roux started. Jean Kleyn must still be in the mix for 2027, will be 33 versus Franco Mostert will be in his 37th year, not sure he will make it. Thanks for a great show!!
@keo, why is there no SA-A team going on tour for 2 or 3 games? Thus is where some of the extended squad or fringe players can test combinations and get serious game time. The AB's and Aussies both sent A teams on the Northern tour.

Honestly no experience will compare to test rugby. A-team games are nowhere near the level of test matches so not a great indicator of how good a player is. Also with Rassie playing over 50 players, he has probably given more meaningful game time to more players than NZ or Aus with their A teams.
If you look at that England side, they are the only sode who physically were quite close to the Bokke in sheer size, but rugby is about ability before size and power !
Thinking of Steven Kitshoff today ❤ in other news, does Frans Malherbe live in Constantia and how badly is he hurt? Saw a Frans Malherbe clone having a little jog there this morning at 6:15 😂😂
I make the point that 57-0 is not JUST because of inferior coaching. There are much darker forces at work. There are divisions and there are cliques and there are prima donnas at play, and there is poor leadership within the team and there are coaches that have lost their changeroom, and players that want revolution. I would like someone to do an investigative documentary on what happened there. We deserve answers for things that scarred us as a nation for life.
He has been the best 9 in terms of game management and tactical kicking for a while now he has one bad game and everything else he has done is forgotten. Let's also be fair and mention that Jaden's game against Scotland was one in which the rucks were an absolute mess and Scotland did a good job of keeping it that way for the first 50mins of the game. Grant is fire and basically a younger version of Reinach, he'll always be around but not usually the starting 9, especially in games we expect to be more territorial.
I Always find it quite ironic how we in awe of this Bok side ect which we should be but we can never truly say how badly BEE type appointments like Pieter De Villiers and Alistair Coetzee threw our rugby to the dogs and also Heyneke was ready to take over in 2008 where he was on super high from Bulls and when he did take over it was forced and on back foot and scared to loose instead of taking over when he should have with CORE Bulls players and some other exceptional talents but lets be glad we finally got it right . Lets hope we after Rassie get the right people in instead of our pathetic transformation bullshit appointments.
Disagree with you on how good Jaden is. He is way too slow at the ruck. All the really good scrum-halves are a second or more quicker. I hope he plays well of course. Jordan is not a 10, rather keep him at 15. He is also too slow in decision making to be pivot
Agree. At the moment I think Reinach is the strongest all-rounder. And Grant is the best/fastest on attack, some weakness getting turned over as he out runs his support. But understand what they are saying with Jaden... When on form he shows old school Bok style, with low error rate steady delivery relying more on the Flyhalf and fullback to act as play maker. Though he had a shocker on tour, think they see him as a knockout rugby scrum half. Needs to prove it still. Think Grant Williams is too good off the bench, so although he deserves more starts think he's proven too valuable as back up utility. Agree. Jordan will not be the 1st or 2nd choice flyhalf, unless it's against a super physical islander team where he's got the better physicality. Even at 15 he won't be ahead of Willemse, Fassi and other's at club level. His value long term will be utility coverage on the bench, and late game kicking. If he can drop goal from distance too, his value goes up. If he could jump into a forward role as well (a reverse Kwagga) given he's got the more physical frame then he will become an irreplaceable player on the bench. ... A lot needs to happen there, but I'm excited at the potential he could over various strategies.
@evanh8749 I like how you think. People think I'm attacking the Hendrkse brothers and get so defensive, but I'm just pointing out what I've seen with how they play and what could be worked on. I agree with how Jordan could be used. Even at the Lions he was more of a utility player.
@@mikezog1030 I'm most excited to see him play. I think he has a real future with the Boks. But I see him being behind Pollard, Libbock and Sacha as a starting 10 (at least for now). But he would be in front of Libbock as a utility player. And he has the potential to really grow. While I see Sacha as a better future replacement for Libbock, I think Jordan is the closest replacement for Pollard down the line, with greater physicality in defence. And he's growing in confidence playing for the Sharks.
I love this narrative and i back Rassie 150%. So, before anyone starts the kak - this match day 23 boasts only 7 players of color and an all White bench. SO WHAT !!??? They are ALL Springboks, OUR Bokke, SA's golden boys. Why care !!? #rassiegenius #gobokke
Maybe this is payback (to the Boks old hands)for all the headaches Wales has caused Rassie over the years (never an easy opponent), but they're vulnerable now,
Do we need to worry about Oz for the next WC? Seeing where we were in 2018 and how they are bouncing back and the fact that the WC is in Oz makes me shit a little
The Australian rugby pundits are already saying “The Wallabies’ next generation of stars have arrived”. They are very much like Jeff Wilson and company getting well ahead of themselves. They are definitely improving. I would like to see how they do against Scotland and Ireland in the coming weekends.

@@evanh8749 but Jordan has been in fine form for the Lions this year. I want to see if he can handle higher levels.
The greats in the back line predict that Tony ball will be exhibited
Keo and Zels - bring die brandewijn - Saterdag gaan epic wees as hierdie span die Welsh gemors met minstens 10 drie....
No Zels... Jaden (two-step pass), is currently 3rd in line. Williams is our best 9 option heading to the world cup.
How about playing Esterhuizen on 11 nd make him a Jonah Lomu
Imagine how interesting that would b
Rassie said Cemron Hanekom isnt a 6 , but a 7 or 8th man.
He can do any of them.
Boks by 💯
Please ask Keo to say: "Jan is young". (Jan as in Jannie).
