When you got off the plane in Victoria, I thought the crowd of people were cheering your arrival! LOL Victoria!!! What a city. Beautiful, thank you for a wonderful tour.
Was hoping when you said an Irish ☘️ Pub it would be the Sticky Wicket. I was there about 10-15 years ago and it was pretty nice. Did you by any chance notice if it is still around?
It was 1982 when I was in Victoria, as a 12yo with my now deceased parents. We came over for four weeks from the UK to visit family in Burnaby Vancouver. Lovely memories, especially of stood in front of The Empress and the Parliament building with my parents. I'm almost 54 now and was so nice to see places where we once stood. 🙂
Would like to thank you for allowing us to take part on your journey to Alaska. I came across your channel this past year and really enjoy your videos. I always look forward to seeing your new videos. I greatly enjoyed your Alaska adventure. Continued success with your channel and God Bless.
You have to love being able to visit a beautiful city and being able to walk virtually anywhere at any time of day (or night) and never have to give your personal safety a thought....continued safe travels...
What a great way spend this chilly Sunday afternoon getting a tour of such scenic area in the comfort of my own couch. Thanks Robert. Well done. I was also in Victoria Island back in 2019, and the palace was under construction then, too. Can't believe they still haven't wrapped it up.
Robert, this trip was just phenomenal...thank you so much for taking us along on your adventure. Looking forward to see where we are traveling to in 2024!
I've been on the Black Ball ferry(Coho) out Port Angeles and lived at the foot of the road to Hurricane Ridge WA USA. That was back around 1981-84... it was great. Been to the International peace park a couple times too(children of a common mother)
What an epic adventure this was...I can't imagine how many miles you put on that truck, you must have been exhausted and somewhat relieved to get home! Thank you Robert for sharing this experience with us...I hope to visit the Alaska national parks one day as well!
Wow, Robert, you did a fantastic job on capturing Vancouver and Victoria in 2 days!!! The murky river water merging is the Fraser River with the ocean.
TR, Thanks so much for sharing your journey. We’ve been following from the time you left Florida. Your vids have been an inspiration that will hopefully one day follow. Safe travels! 😃
Although I'm living in SE Asia, you really made me miss my home! Great video and as a fellow vlogger I know a LOT of work went into that! Nice job sir:)
Thank you again to you and your wife for this wonderful 3 month series. You are blessed and once again I thank you for taking me along. Bernabe from NV
I am so happy to see you guys caught such fantastic weather in Vancouver and Victoria! It was the perfect day to fly to Victoria! Usually, Victoria has better weather than Vancouver...And, I really got to learn how to make the animated map...Fantastic Robert!
A brand new year, a brand new Traveling Robert video...yay! At 4:15, that might be a "timber raft" of logs being transported to a mill. My family went on vacation to Victoria back in the 70s and took the Inside Passage cruise to Prince Rupert. My main memory of the trip was rain, rain, and more rain -- so it's nice to see what Victoria looks like in the sunshine 🙂. The "provincial Christmas tree" is a bit of an oddity to me, I've never seen a sequoia with branches that low to the ground. Looking forward to riding along with you in 2024...happy trails!
Hey Robert, that mega yatch belongs to Jorge Paulo Lemann, very rich brazilian guy who now lives in Switzerland and owns several companies including Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser), Burger King and Kraftz (Heinz ketchup) among maybe many others. By the way, very nice video as always!
What a beautiful way to mark the end the "adventure" part of your trip. I know everyday is an adventure but this was very nice. Are you ready to go back already? BTW, Happy New Year!
Next time…. I’m near Toronto and if we went to the island, camp at Tofino at the NP which is hard to get or the private campground Surfgrove. Surfgrove looks really nice.
To bad you didn’t visit the sunken gardens (Butchart gardens). It’s a fantastic place to see! Absolutely gorgeous. We had high tea at the Emperor hotel. Was delicious!!
Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for the series, I enjoyed watching every Sunday morning since the beginning of this journey! Good job and happy future travels!
Sad to see the homeless area in Vancouver in sharp contrast to the view from the sky and the waterfront. You see plenty big areas like this in the States, but just don’t imagine them existing in Canada for some reason.
Boy Robert you guys were Lucky with the weather. When I was there a long time ago it was cool and windy, and that was in August also. The northwest is so beautiful and I miss allot.
Robert been to Victoria you need to drive around and see the nice homes on the coast of the island. Canada is cleaner than the US. Victoria reminds me of Canada's Honolulu😎🍺🍻
Very nice. Victoria seems to have far more character than Vancouver, the latter which seems to be a huge metropolis solely made up of generic apartment towers.
Your music, your photography, your editing skills, and now your data intake of our beautiful city of Victoria, I must say, we have seen it all. We stayed in Victoria for 3 weeks and just explored. For a city, it to me is one of the nicest. Of course biased as all get out. I love the quiet of small town living, lake viewings, birdwatching, tree hugging, flower snapping, Johnathon Livingston Seagull bird eyeview of British Columbia Canada. My homeland I love with all my heart. Thank you Robert and your blessed family.
Hello Traveling Robert 😎, what an Amazing tour of Victoria Island. I have enjoyed every bit of this tour. It's going to be an amazing trip home too. I hope your enjoying your drive home.😎😎😎
Love the houseboats! Reminds me of the ones in Sausalito. The super yacht is a SeaXplorer called Anawa, built by the Damen Shipyard in the Netherlands.
What a Beautiful city!! Loved the houseboats. I’m sure it’s a little bittersweet ending this Alaska adventure. But know we all so appreciate all you’ve videoed. It’s been fun and educational. Happy New Year To You And Your Family. ❤
What can I say but WOW! The weather Gods looked down on you and Ille for those 2 days Robert. How long was that seaplane flight please? I would love to do that but it would have to be a reasonably short flight for my wife to do it. Tony.
Never knew Vancouver was such a large city! When I moved from California to Florida 33 years ago. I almost moved to Seattle. I feel I made to right choice? To cold there for me.
The 'different colored water' must have been a river mixing with sea water. It looks like in the Gulf of Mexico where the Mississippi river mixes with the salt water. It is pretty cool how they don't mix for a long ways. We went on a fishing trip to Venice, LA a few years ago. You should charter a fishing trip from Venice one day.
Thanks for the great tour of Victoria. As much as I hate to admit this and as a lifelong BC resident I have only been to Victoria one time. That trip was for my brother’s hockey trip and I didn’t see anything. The cost of taking a vehicle from Vancouver to Victoria is extremely expensive! I will have to go across as a foot passenger one day soon! Thanks for showing me all the good places to visit in Victoria for when I do decide to visit. I also really enjoyed your trip leaving Vancouver going to Seattle, a trip I take at least a couple of times a month! I do have one major pet peeve with today’s episode. At the ending you shut off the camera literally a couple of seconds too early! I have seen this view before but at the light of the end of the end of the tunnel is one of the most iconic views in the whole Seattle area, coming out of the tunnel out onto the floating bridge over Lake Washington. It would have been really good for the people who aren’t familiar with the area that they could have seen that view. Oh well still a great episode!
Did the plane not have a copilot? That was surprising. Generally speaking, aircraft categorized as air transport, regardless of size, i.e., 787 or a commuter turboprop, have two pilots.

Yeah, that was perfect timing. 😂

Good Morning!!!
Here in Massachusetts: Happy Snow Day!!!!
Was hoping when you said an Irish ☘️ Pub it would be the Sticky Wicket. I was there about 10-15 years ago and it was pretty nice. Did you by any chance notice if it is still around?
Didn't see it... but I wasn't looking either

I was in 1977 in Victoria and after seeing enough from this world i still believe that this is one of the best places in this small world!
Wow, Robert, you did a fantastic job on capturing Vancouver and Victoria in 2 days!!! The murky river water merging is the Fraser River with the ocean.

The different coloured water is where the Fraser River flows out into the Pacific Ocean and meets Georgia Strait.
🛫🛬🚶👫👍🛥🌞Just AMAZING air shots and Mountain views @Traveling Robert 😊
Wonderful video and aerial shots of Vancouver. Love the colorful houseboats. Loved this tour!

If America didn't segregate from Brittan, we would probably have areas named after queens and princes also.
Now your cruising my road language...🤔 I-5 South

🎉Happy New Year🎉 Sir Robert.
Be safe snd well. 🙏🏻 I do enjoy your travels. 🤗
as I listen to Desert Rain I’m reminded how grateful I am that you created such great music and content.
Yeah, I remember driving my 24’ Class C through Seattle. Of course I didn’t even attempt to do that near rush hour.
Happy New year Travelling Robert enthusiasts.
Thanks for sharing. And please do continue to "just let that camera roll" - amazing shots.
Thanks Robert! Another peaceful evening, dreaming of adventure!
What a beautiful area Mr. Robert. Thank you for the awesome video. 🍻

Very nice. Victoria seems to have far more character than Vancouver, the latter which seems to be a huge metropolis solely made up of generic apartment towers.
Awesome views of Vancouver from that manned drone. 😂
Great that you have returned to lower 48 states now!!

It was less than an hour
another excellent video!
What an Excellent video, Robert! Victoria looks like a wonderful place to visit.
Fantastic Buenísimo! Robert, love the video. Best wishes for the New Year.
Never knew Vancouver was such a large city! When I moved from California to Florida 33 years ago. I almost moved to Seattle. I feel I made to right choice? To cold there for me.
How much is travelling on a seaplane ? Takes 30 mins to Victoria , I guess.
It was around 500 Canadian, 400 USD

Epic video Robert!!
BEAUTIFUL........
Amazing Video, very nice cities, so beatiful
Beautiful tour of Victoria and Vancouver! Thank you!
Victoria is another beautiful city. This was a fun summer vacation.
Very nice video of Victoria! I took a ferry from Seattle to Victoria a few years ago to visit, it’s a great little city.
Great video Robert but what was that in the water at 26:24 minute , curious 🤔
It seems to be a sea lion or a seal... not sure either
LOVE TO LIVE THERE TO OLD NOW AND MY TRAVLING DAYS ARE SMALLNOW,, THANKS FOR THE RIDE
Nice
ЛАЙК !!! 😊👍
Can't wait to watch it, 32min left ☺️ I will go on in the meantime with cleaning my condo 😅
Absolutely spectacular !! Safe travels !!
the ending map with the arrow has to take a long time to edit. Another good episode.
I hope you can travel to Europe this summer

Oh and BTW yes that was Mt Baker!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good and interesting video !
Awesome video I don’t want the trip to end.
Victoria is beautiful!
Did the plane not have a copilot? That was surprising. Generally speaking, aircraft categorized as air transport, regardless of size, i.e., 787 or a commuter turboprop, have two pilots.
No copilot
@@TravelingRobert that’s what I thought and was a little surprised. I was like ‘“wait, she’s missing the copilot, don’t take off yet…” 😂
Now I want to visit Victoria!
Ahhh my hometown
Bro if I knew in advance when you were going to be in Victoria I would have put you in touch with my buddy Paul, who is a top personal trainer. He would have taken you out to a few gentleman clubs where you could have had a few beers and romantic dances. Just saying
That may not have been appropriate
@@TravelingRobert D'oh! How about the wild penguins of rural Victoria then? VERY family friendly!
Have you tried Moosehead Lager or Molson they are both Canadian beers🍺 yummy yummy
I don't think I've had
You should try them. Some Publix grocery stores sell Moosehead and Molson. They are yummy yummy 😋 🍺👍
The weather was perfect and the seaplane harbor air ride covered so much in such a short period of time...excellent video 📹! Wondering if there's a better road to take without going through Seattle's terrible traffic.
I'm sure there are other roads, but it will probably take longer anyway.
Robert as you were taking I-90 East you could have taken I-405 to I-90 and you wouldn’t have had to go through downtown Seattle at all.
Good to know, Thanks!@@mikeschock9225
nice but wish you'd use ambient sound rather than cheesy "music"
I personally prefer any music to boat engine noise.
How is this live? It's not summer up there... apparently you can play any video at any time... disgusting..
It is called a premiere
Where is there any claim that this is "Live"? Someone needs another cup of coffee!!
