Do This First:
To get the most out of your recording or streaming space, I recommend sound treatment including acoustic absorption panels. This is the single biggest way to improve your audio before investing in other gear. You can make your own, or I highly recommend GIK Acoustics as they manufacture some of the best quality panels available at an excellent value.

The V7X delivers a thick warm tone while preserving enough detail to be used for instruments in an environment where mic bleed is an issue. At around $100 USD at the time of recording this video, the sE V7X is an excellent value imo. Let me know what other handheld dynamic microphones you use!
Great comparison of instrument microphones. I use SM57 microphones for recording electric guitars. I bought the sE V7x microphone for acoustic guitar recording because it works better in the low frequency spectrum . . .
Fantastic video. Looks like a mic to add to the collection
Glad you enjoyed it! I agree, the V7X is a great affordable option to add to the mic locker. Value is excellent, and like many sE products, it performs far above its price.
Really great video. I bought one last year and I'm bying other. I use it for the snare drum.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Great application on the snare, enjoy having a second in your locker…
