I'm probably wrong, but it looks like FNC and AOA couldn't come out with their side of their story because of Mina's suicide threats and the chaos that would ensue. But clearly they had all of these evidences with them just in case. Then after Mina's other scandals started coming out one by one and the public perception of Mina slowly started shifting, all the evidences were handed to Dispatch. Dispatch can leak all of this out as a third party, and FNC and AOA would be free of blame in case Mina tries to harm herself. Jimin was not walking on eggshell's with her and acted like a responsible leader who probably did the job of the scared manager in front of poor princess Mina. In order to gain back that disrespect that Jimin made her feel, she wants everyone in the world to know that she is the most special and lovable. And that Jimin is wrong and has repented and understood that innocent princess Mina deserved to be loved and cared for during those times.
🤮 She's just so childish. Back with her father's abuse and trainee/idol days. There are times when we want to go back in time and correct the wrongs people did to us, that made us turn out like we are today. I FULLY understand that part. However, it's really insensitive to make everyone cater to our needs. We need time when we're healing, that's understandable. We want a lot of rest too. But other people are carrying other burdens and we can't just ALWAYS expect them to baby us. This is work we are talking about. Money and livelihood. At some point, I think we've gone through guilt and shame that made us try hard to TRY and change ourselves for the better, as gratitude for their understanding and support.
IDK what she was thinking when she wanted to be an idol but it's just another line of work, like in the service industry. You smile, be polite, and cater to the wants of your "customers", they do not cater to you. It's just that the fans get to appreciate the idols and thus shower their love and support. If she was jealous that Jimin and Seolhyun (as well as how AOA after she left became famous ) had a lot of support, this just shows how much they tried to connect and make their fans happy and satisfied. They put in effort, instead of being self centered.

As someone who likes Choa... I agree. She seems to be the type of person who's really warm and caring towards people in general, very gentle and relaxed. Now that usually are good qualities when things go smoothly in the group and when there are enough skilled people around to complement those who are less skilled (aka You-Know-Who-She-Is). However, because of her gentleness she would have trouble pushing people to work, which is why she couldn't get YKWSI to do anything and gave up on her. When she left for her own reasons, AOA was essentially without a main vocal and also sinking a bit in popularity. At this point, relaxing is really the last thing they can do since they don't have enough skilled people to complement those who are less skilled. Everyone has to make up for their skills in a way, and fast. Which is where Jimin comes in. She's the type that is strict and keeps pushing people to improve, while she herself also works her ass off. Those are the qualities that allow AOA to come back fast. Unfortunately, YKWSI couldn't take it and decided to bite Jimin in the ass...
In short, Choa might be a caring person but her being too gentle makes her unsuitable to be a leader. I also apologise if how I described them made them sound like Choa is the only one with talent, which is definitely not true. It's just that I couldn't find good enough words to describe it.
As for my description of YKWSI, I don't regret it.

Very true. To be an effective leader, you will sometimes need to play "bad cop" to get people to do stuff. Mina just sounds like a "overly sensitive person" who couldn't deal with Jimin literally criticizing her every waking moment for not carrying her weight. But was Jimin criticizing her in an effective manner? Probably not, hence why "overly sensitive" Mina says she was bullied.
That's my final take on this entire mess that Mina has come to milk the crap out of.

And I completely agree on what you said. A leader has to be strict. An every leader is strict but in a different way, and if the leader pushes the team to work harder to be be better at their craft is nothing wrong. Coz at the end of the day if anything goes wrong the leader is responsible for the failure of the group, the leader is responsible for everything. I've always thought Mina took Jimin's criticism and strictness as bullying but after knowing she's been in stress, going under some medication since she was like 14 I'm 100% sure she took it that way.

I think we got an insight of what Mina’s behaviour was like during her time in AOA from the way Choa spoke about her. Mina was clearly a very difficult, entitled and sensitive person to work with and this can literally be backed up by the way she treats the managers like her personal servants. Sorry but why are they getting appointments for your mum at like fucking 3-4am 💀 Also can we talk about how Mina said that “all eyes and ears in the room were the same” when none of the other members literally sided with jimin or Mina 💀 Sorry but she knew what she was doing when she said that.
Seeing Mina’s behaviour from the texts and also from the stuff she’s done over the past year, what that actor from AOA’s heart attack MV said about Mina back in like 2016/2017 kinda seems true. He said the other members, especially Seolhyun and Chanmi, were nice while Mina didn’t greet anyone and was rude. :/
Did anyone else also notice the way her demeanour changed when she was writing her most recent Instagram post about how she will reveal everything without any lies or shocking/bad words+ talk to dispatch? In most of her other posts, she always sounds so arrogant but this time, she doesn’t. Why? Because she knows that she’s screwed since there is actually EVIDENCE AGAINST HER. She used to be arrogant in her posts because she knows that no one will come forward with their side of the story due to her weaponising he s3lf harm and su1c1de, which enables her to play the victim card to the max. The thing that stayed in my head after reading the messages is Jimin saying how much she wanted the team to succeed and how she did everything for the group's success. If Mina was skipping practice, not taking vocal lessons, and being difficult, as the leader, Jimin would have been the one called by the CEO and criticised.
Mina just sounds arrogant and entitled, she can't do anything wrong and if somebody does not go her way, she founds a way to blame somebody else. Her boyfriends, her members. She basically accused Jimin of killing somebody after her being seen smoking in a non-smoking hotel room. She is DANGEROUS. Korean here. Since some of you are still delusional and believe Mina’s lies, let me write what has been revealed
    1. MINA BULLIED THE STAFF AND MANAGERS constantly demanding things during their time off and talking to them rudely and getting angry at them
    2. Minas text with jimin show that they were actually really close and jimin was sweet to mina. Even months before Mina’s “exposing” jimin, jimin and mina hugged, jimin said I love you, mina said sorry and thank you, and they would call each other.
    3. The members tried to mediate the situation and hyejeong even told mina to apologize to jimin too but mina blamed everything on jimin.
    4. Choa said she gave up on mina cuz she doesn’t listen to anyone and that jimin had to step up. Mina would miss practices, mistreat fans, and abuse staff. Someone had to step up and it was jimin who scolded her as the leader - THIS ISNT BULLYING. The big fight they had was cuz mina ruined their comeback & it was canceled due to her missing all the practices and that’s when they were aggressive with each other + Hyejeong said she is going to go crazy cuz of mina driving her crazy.
    5. Mina sent jimin nasty messages attacking jimin’s mom and also insulting her appearances
    6. Jimin apologized cuz choa told her she should as the leader and unni and also to end the drama and calm mina down. Mina exposed and caused the whole drama months after her and jimin reconciled for their big fight just because she was feeling depressed due to not having a job and aoa becoming popular with queendom. There's a youtuber who appeared in AOA's Heart Attack MV, and, when he talked about his experience, he mentioned that Mina had a bad attitude. The video is in spanish and was published back in 2017.
This is the video: ua-cam.com/video/trwkdu9OQTo/v-deo.html he talks about her from 3:12 to 3:56. Here's the translation of what he said:
"...Another thing that happened was that I had contact with Mina. Mina... to be honest... Don't hate me but I didn't really like her. Eh, she was very mean and arrogant with everyone on the team. Mmm, I think she lacked being more expressive with people. I mean, like if we all went one way, I think she was going the opposite way. And I didn't like her behaviour, she didn't say hello to anyone, she was always away. I don't know. The truth is... I don't know... That's the impression that I got from what I saw that day. And, actually, we were all sharing and having fun, but she wasn't, so... that girl, Mina... I feel like she needs to change her attitude."

You wouldn't believe how wishy-washy kpop fans are. Think that's what Everglow-up was hinting in another video that people have this “black and white” mindset. They think there's a “good” side and there's a “bad” side. Most people when they hear of allegations of bullying/sexual harassment they will believe the victims regardless of any other news regarding the information. They do it cause they believe it's the right thing to do and the wrong thing would be expressing doubt. But then when that info turns out to be wrong they switch sides and pretend like they “knew something was wrong” when they most likely..did not.
This is why I and urge others to stay neutral because, in reality, it's none of our damn business. Kpop fans not only overstep boundaries but we don't know how to properly support and/or hold our idols accountable in a healthy way. This is why the fandom is toxic. 1. I love the point you brought up about everyone praising Choa for being mature. Choa said she'd given up on Mina, but Jimin didn't have the luxury to do that. If someone misses a schedule, it's Jimin's fault. If someone gets sick, it's Jimin's fault. If someone messes up or does anything wrong, it's Jimin's fault. That's what comes with being a leader. She probably suffered so much, and still apologized to Mina for things that she didn't remember.
    2. I feel like Seolhyun was so quiet throughout, because she had the most to lose. She was the most popular member (to my knowledge), and she was getting brand deals and acting/ modeling gigs snatched right from her. She lost a lot because of this scandal.
    3. I don't know why, but when you brought up the fact about Mina constantly bringing up Jimin's sex life, I got the feeling that Mina is lowkey jealous of Jimin. I think probably because Mina was just acknowledged as the other pretty girl in the group next to Seolhyun, but Jimin wasn't seen as pretty because the beauty standard, so her talent spoke for itself. She had a unique voice and was a great rapper, so she was getting praised for talent while Mina was just getting praised for visuals, so she kinda got jealous. But that's just my speculation.

    @KiKi-bd8gu 2 роки тому +99

This is the first time im ever commenting on this issue publicly or privately. AOA was the group that got me into Kpop and since then was my favorite for their entire run. I learned to drive to their albums because they calmed me. I followed everyone's individual activities. And Jimin was my ultimate Kpop bias. Admittedly Mina was my least favorite in the group. But least favorite of the best is still amazing. When the allegations broke over a year ago I was heartbroken and took half a year off Kpop altogether. I wished Mina would find help but I didnt hate Jimin because something was just off. From all that time watching the group something didn't add up. Either way I decided to wait for more information before making up my mind.
And this is what I've landed on. Kpop groups are buisnesses first and foremost. They put people with opposing personalities and values together just like any work place. The difference is you get to go home from work and have a definitive line between the two. You dont get that in kpop. You have to live, function, and endure together all the time. But your still different and probably wouldnt be friends in normal circumstances.
Mina was HARD to work with. It's pretty obvious her personality was the most difficult for all the girls. But while most of them could focus on making there own work good Jimin had to manage the team. She was probably incredibly strict on her. Just like the teacher that hovers around the student falling behind or the boss that constantly evaluates the lowest earning sales rep. Part of Jimins work was to make the others work. And she probably wasnt paid extra for it. Im sure she went to far sometimes. We all do when we berate our children for drinking and driving or putting themselves or others in danger. And we all know how it feels when it happens to us. We get mad at the people telling us to be better.
I sympathize with how Minas mental health made her interpret criticism. I have mental health issues too that have made me do the same thing. But even when I blamed my parents for yelling at me for my suicidal thoughts I had to acknowledge that they weren't at fault, my brain was. I needed help and they weren't villans trying to destroy me.
Now im livid. I'm proud that I waited to judge the situation but the worst thing about all this new information is nothing will change. AOA will still suffer and so will jimin and mina. Lies ruined the lives, career and reputation of all these really talented people. Mina should be held responsible and the public should apologize for how they treated Jimin.
And people also need to realize Jimin took the job Choa didnt want or couldn't handle. Everyone saying Choa should have lead should think "why didnt she". The job is almost always offered or given to the oldest member and when its not its because they simply cant do it. Clearly Choa didn't want to or wasn't capable. Jimin did that entire team a favor by taking the role. And despite the situation she clearly did a good job. They are famous. They are a top 2nd gen girl group. They are in the minority of groups who actually made enough money for the members to live off of. Anyone who dosent think jimin had a lot to do with that is kidding themselves.

What's more triggering is that she has the resources!!! She has the money and place to find a GOOD psychiatrist and find help yet she doesn't. I don't want to diminish her mental health but alot of people would do anything just to be in a position of wealth to get better

@@jayjade6003 you're right. there are a lot of people that can't get help due to their financial standing, and even when there are public institutions, some if not most cannot even afford the minimum payments they have to make.

Is anyone going to mention Jimin asking in the Dispatch messages for a knife because of the situation? I am seriously starting to be more and more frustrated by the situation? Mina is gaslighting Jimin, accusing her of doing things Jimin does not remember doing. Still, she apologised and took the time to talk to her, made up with her but still, Mina wanted to destroy AOA altogether? AND Jimin saying she just wanted the team to succeed she slept with men and Mina slut-shaming for that? From the messages, I don't know what Mina wants? Apologies? She got it. What else Jimin can do to stop seeing her name in the press?
