Just to say that when I come back home the back tires have massive patch from my early brake lock and spin 😂😜😂💨. Now the can is with new tires and is not bouncy at all . And on the log Luke Hancox don’t press the brakes over 60% .

I would like to do itbs on my rs as well but wanna build up my own kit any suggestions on what itbs to use as I can get the 20v Toyota itbs for cheap and they are 45mm but question is drive by wire or cable what would be the best and can these throttles be used for build
@@jnmatthee I really prefer dbw . You have more control but really need to have aftermarket ecu to use dbw to its full extent. And then the build get expensive.

Just a quick one to say your car looks and sounds amazing, sounds like a 90s BTCC machine!

Why the hell would you build an engine like that, and then just put a taller final drive which will just eliminate all the torque out the engine.
It's NA.. it needs short gears to get any torque out of it
Because donington . On this track this final drive work better then short
I have another box with 5.0 final for different tracks .

Yeah she was pretty firm 😄 Never bounced like that in places before, it was throwing the weight in directions I didn't want it to go at some points 😄 That said though, mega car overall 👌🏻

Yeah, I couldn't put my finger on it at the time whether or not it was too soft or too hard, but yes... definitely too hard, I'm sure a quick adjustment on the damping would've made it abit better

On the logs Luke don’t press the brakes more then 60% . The car have pedal box and is not servo assisted . You need to press the brakes as hard at you can ( round 90-100 kg pedal force )
They work fine - just need abit of time to get use with them .
I promise to like that on the next track day he will come with me (if he have free time) and will practice more stopping.

Sounds class doesn't it! As Georgi said, apparently I wasn't pressing them hard enough 😄 Didn't know it needed that amount of force/pressure (90kg) to really get the most out of them! When they were pressed down harder, they worked fine... But the amount of travel and force you have to put in the pedal before you get there is mad in my opinion 😄

@@maximumattackrallying is a non servo assisted rentune pedal box . Separate front and rear brake master cylinders with break bias and hard lines running inside the car . You really need to press them hard - perfect for left foot braking . Is what race cars using. Give you better feel for the car but need to learn yourself to drive smooth.

How did you compare it to a track spec megane 250?
This is definitely more raw, you have to drive it harder to get the most out of it. You've got to build up momentum and keep the revs high, Steering feel seems better than a Meg too.
But what I love about a Meg, you can just through anything at it and it'll hook up and pull you through, torque is always there and it just fills you with even more confidence!

I didn’t realise that strut brace can be used as a harness bar.
the brace is labelled as harness bar and is attached to the back harness mounts. The normal strut brace is mounted on a different place .

Ahh does he? I miss it so much 😄 I never used to record to be honest back then, only had an old Gopro Hero 3. Got a few clips when I was at Spa in it but it was having a couple of issues with it under hard acceleration. Some speedo vids on my Instagram though

Another great review ! Maybe with the stock (shorter) final drive ratio it will have less lack of top end . Car looks awsome to drive .
I thought it would really struggle initially with it being longer, but it coped with it really well, I was really impressed. Maybe because it's a faster flowing track. Smaller, technical circuits I think a shorter FD would really suit it 👌🏻

Front are et55 back are et45 this is for semi silks
If I run full slick the 45 go at the front and the 55 stay at the back
