You're right on the money there. I've posted a few smaller updates to my instagram since this. Work has stalled out since April though, & I'm itching to get it moving again. Hopefully soon it will be up and running.
I was able to get the pin out of the rear shock. They actually came out fairly easily. It was harder to get the cotter pin that blocks it out honestly. That took some WD-40 and some elbow grease, but once that was out the bigger pin that holds the shock in it out pretty easily with a punch and a rubber mallet. Next video will probably be a little while. I've got some painting to do and some cleanup, and then hopefully I'll be putting the new front end and rear wheel on.

Nice work! When is the next video coming up? I’m stripping my XV920 as well. Any luck getting the pin out of the swing arm to remove the rear shock?

that's how most of the project ends... tear down is the most easy part. modifying and putting all back together is damn hard...
