- Welcome to a short video featuring reports from AWC staff in the field at Yampi, Scotia, Mt Gibson, Newhaven, Piccaninny Plains and Mornington. All of these reports were filmed in January or February 2017, providing you with a snapshot of our current activity and highlighting the importance of the work we do protecting native wildlife and the habitats in which they live. Acclaimed actor, David Wenham, narrates a brief introduction.
Special thanks to Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Northern Pictures for their contribution to vision.

Gives me hope; thanks for all you do.
I would give anything for a job there.

Absolutely fantastic celebration of Australian wildlife, landscape, people, and how science is making a positive difference. I'm truly honoured to have contributed to the field research at Newhaven and Mornington. Keep up the great work!

I'm delighted with the progress AWC is making, proud to be a donor.
Beautiful video. It would be nice to hear more of the voices of the Aboriginal people. They've been here the longest.
Great video, Can we share?
Comments by Sidhesh Patil -Primary/secondary schools in many countries often encourage students to participate in 'discretionary extracurricular activities' to complement their mainstream curriculum. Perhaps AWC could work with schools around the world and tailor an educational unit for overseas students that would include a visit/excursion to protected Australian wildlife sanctuaries. Proceeds can support wildlife conservation. Thanks.
"Working with the department of defence"? 1:25 So,... your working with the American government? be aware, America has TWO military bases in Western Australia! What exactly are you trying to preach in MY country? (there are 5 US military bases in Australia, ALL of which have Nuclear reactor's on them, which is a violation of Australia's environmental laws)
