"I will never talk to a normie ever again after this moment" Then she breaks into tears. *Que Gut's theme*. *Curtain falls*. The End.
Went to play the theme after this. Was the perfect finishing touch.
I know this isn't it, but this is what comes to my mind whenever someone references that theme. ua-cam.com/video/KBMRTgbm0Fs/v-deo.html

This is a hard but valuable lesson, never trust normies

More like ”never trust anybody”, as that personal mistake lead into experiencing three years of hell… ˚_˚
@@senint yeah you are right i also learned that the hard way you can not trust anybody
It both surprises and doesn’t surprise me that so many Vtubers where theater kids
Being a theatre kid is probably a direct pipeline into becoming a vtuber
@@SolicitorPirate that is good news for me
Vtubers are generally chuuni and so are theatre kids
considering they have to keep in character and all. especially when a special event comes in.
Honestly theatre kids are superior
Hearing pomu talk about her life is so entertaining
What the hell is up with Pomu and her perfect cliche anime backstories
I didn’t know that almost being sacrificed in a cult like Jazz concert was considered cliche?
@@MrMagnetron2 i mean, i've read an old shoujo manga with similar trope.. A bad boy tried to lure the FL into bad things and then the ML came to the rescue or something, except there is no ML in Pomu's story.
Pomu is an anime girl tho so yeah
@@MrMagnetron2 probably not but it definitely seems like a light novel plot
“That time my weird friend brought me to a jazz concert…. but it was actually a cult!?”
You'd be quite surprised where "cliched" backstories are inspired from.
You'd be surprised murder mysteries are based of murders that exist IRL.
"I don't wanna watch anime" Instant end, no contest, drop him, leave him, any feelings you had for that person are now gone, finished, over, never happened ever.
Thanks for the clip!
Someone that close-minded is not going to be a good partner anyways.
"I can fix him"
I used to think that sharing common interests did not matter as long as mutual respect between partners prevail, and while in theory that isn't wrong, it's difficult.
Sooner or later something will meant a lot to you and you'd be confronted with a lukewarm reaction from your significant other. Nobody wants that.
@@djinn666 Dating someone that has no common interests is waste of time, cuz it likely will not last for too long.
Either you'll stop doing your own activities you like for the sake of your relationship, either your partner will do. Lose lose situation.
It's like when you do a mistake right after started an equation, you know it will backfires in the end, but still do the calc till there.
That's why i'm willingly single.
@@sakuramathic
True.I think you can still get by as friends but things like close friends and relationships definitely need proper synchronisation.
Besides, I don’t think there is anything offensive in saying that not watching anime is a good sign of close minded ness to some extent.
Ultimately, you aren’t looking at a specific genre or smth but rather a whole medium of storytelling with stuff to satisfy all different tastes.
You need to put actual effort from your side to not like it. I mean one of my friends didn’t like anime or discussing anime throughout our teenage years together and now when he genuinely gave it a chance,he is binge watching series like naruto etc.
It’s kinda like saying “I don’t like movies” in that sure, the movies you have watched till now could probably not be upto your taste but dismissing the entire genre as pointless would be just dumb.

The Pomulore thickens
When I was in college, I made the normies into anime lovers.
I am quite proud of that.

TBH, we need more people like you

The good parasite
I never professed anime. I just did my own thing. I stood all alone, proud to proclaim that i watch anime when kids asked me, wtf is dat? After a few years, my whole class is now a grp of weebs. I, ofc, did not lift a single finger to accomplish that. Tho i do remember them asking me what i do in my free time and why im so based.
NO NORMIES! NO! NORMIES GO AWAY!
-Some cultured Squirrel
Aw poor Pomu. Glad she didn't go out with that little shit.
Also, not sure if it's just because i'm Asian but being a geek and a nerd back in highschool isn't really that weird or out of place.
Almost everyone enjoyed anime and manga to an extend, which made it awfully easy to make friends.
True, the cool kids sometimes join when we were watching anime, but contrary to us who is silent, they're a bit louder and expressive. They're chill tho
it probably depends on where you live. some places feel like there's just nerds everywhere with only a few normies, but the opposite is probably true in a lot of places.
@@syaasy4416 Join you? Were you guys watching anime in public?
even in Japan if you watched anime it was considered a stigma. In the west? back then it was even worse, you were a prime target for bullying just for being Asian much less watch anime or play games. I've had lighter fluid splashed onto my face and then they actually tried to ignite it only for them to be stopped by my "bigger" friends. You had to basically "political maneuver" to survive and make friends with people on sports teams.
@@Crispy1961 yeah, during self study session in class
her lisp is really cute
I kinda hear it now
Wait i never notice that
Not wanting to watch anime is already a red flag lmao

i became healthier, started running, lifting
all of that so that i could blend in with the normies
but even then
man i kinda hate being around em , i mean what if i wanna just talk about why getter robo's the coolest fuckin existential super robo manga out there
anyways, this taught me a lesson
lift for yourself, not for others, in the end it's your body.....and normies suck
same, I can perfectly blend in with normies but dear god do I not want to.
I chose to become healthier on my own (granted covid fucked that up royally), and I did get the attention of more normies, but I can say it was kinda hollow. Granted where I live it is hard to find Getter Robo and Toku fans
A SUPER ROBOT FAN. I THOUGHT THEY WERE ALL DEAD.
Hello fellow Getter Believer. May the Getter Rays continue to bless you.
@@RadiantEdge027 Technically, I'm a GGG believer, but Getter is always welcome.
It's rough, but she learned a valuable life lesson: never trust a normie.
That's up there with "Never trust a Stark".
The only normies I usually bother with are family members.
It just makes sense to try to get along with family and share the things I love with them, even if I know they’d never understand the things I love.
There’s nothing wrong with loving video games and anime.
It’s art! And I appreciate good art!
Me and my pomies hate normies.
All normies should explode.
"I don't know how to flirt" Pomura be like "I'm right here"
Guy:"No. I don't wanna watch anime"
Pomu:" *Disgusting* "
That "Oh no" was something we can all relate to I think.
3:22 - 3:25
Yes, this will make a fine addition to my collection.
ah yikes man, the feels.
when i was 15, im girlfriend at the time deleted my anime and waifu collection folder.
im still salty about it.
Pomu the master of storytelling
Normies: Not even once.
How dare he... How could he...
In fact, he just play with her feelings. Normies suck in every scenario. Poor Pomu.
I subconsciously hid my weeb side during my teens and tried to act as normie as possible. That was a dumb dumb.
Now I'm totally okay saying I spend almost all my free time watching anime and Vtubers.
not hiding it isn't better bro, I was forsaken by my classmates because I was a nerd lmao
If he or she isn't into anime, it's not worth it guys
Plot twist. Pomu is actually an Otome Protagonist. First the Childhood Rival and now The Popular Riajuu.
OMG POMU MY KOKORO 😭. I hope where ever that guy is a bird shits on his head. But for real hopefully he's a better person now.
What a wild ride
Nice of her to tell us her supervillain origin story.
My ex hated anime. Hence why I emphasize the word ex. I tried to make it work but the fact of the matter is that if you shit on something that means so much to the other person it's just not gonna work out. Ever since then I ask them if they like dogs, video games, anime, manga, vtubers. If they say no to any I'm bailing. Massive red flag
And from that day onward, evertime Pomu saw a normie she exclaimed with a thunderous voice:
*"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"*
A warcry
the moment i heard "i don't want to watch anime" i would drop him, lol.
In the words of Blackbeard of F/GO…
“Normies Explode!”
Pomu: “Here’s a story..”
Me: gets popcorn
It was at this point that I relate to Pomu on a spiritual level. That must have been soul crushing but she dodged a bullet.
Wow. I like the way how she telling the stories. So cute and I barely can imaging the real situations, lol.
I enjiyed beating the crap out of bullies "teacher ain't gonna help and violence isn't the way to solve problems, but they're exceptions" my Grandpa told me.
Thank you grandpa.
True dat. Only had lay hands on dudes three times in my K-12 years; didn't swing first.
that's the perfect way to go about bullies imo lmao
"His friends would bully me..."
*Loads shotgun* I beg your pardon?
I felt that, intensely. Kinda sorta similar situation, but I was more like those oblivious protagonists when it came to flirting in high school. It's okay though, all is good over a decade later.
I wonder if it was before or after the running boy. If it was after then itd make for some really really juicy pomulore. Plus it makes more sense too
Me listening to the story, finding it quite similar to my life when I was that cringe kid that was part of the popular group who hackles the theater girl because "communicating? What is that". The memories comes rushing in, regrets of youth floods in. I wanna die...
"do you want to go talk to my friends and watch anime"
"no."
i'm sorry i laughed out loud at this part
Man
I like when live anime folk tell stories like this. Trusting us enough to tell about their past.
That guy.... kuso ningen.
Babe wake up. New pomu lore just dropped
bet that guy became a weeb cuz this pandemic
No, bet he became a weeb cuz anime is popular now
Normies be gone
relatable pomu
wow, that guy is just a jerk. I never have meet that kind of guy in my life
I like talking to geeky/nerdy people. They know what they're talking about. Contrary to people that will shut down any argument with an insult.
Based and pomupilled
Oof that's rough bro
Understandable
that is a very sad story...
however, trust me this kinda cheating stuff happens with non-normies too
the no bonding over hobbies bit sounds tough though
There was this girl that had a crush on me. She likes anime, she's quiet, nice and likes art like I do but she hangs out with normies....come on, of all things. And on top of that, she couldn't keep her mouth shut. Normies are out of the question when it comes to snitching. And yeah it got pretty annoying when people started teasing us so I just stayed away from her and her group of friends, in which she told me that she was annoyed at.
pomu and i just sighed at the same time i feel one with pomu
Childhood friend/rival-kun is the destined one for Pomu :D
Riajuu Bakuhatsu-Shiro!!!
"Oh no. Anyway" - Pomu 2021
Riajuu bakuhatsu shiro!!
I didn't know Pomu was a theater kid, and yet I am not surprised at all
"How do you confirm when you're in a relationship with someone?"
My first girlfriend was more nerdy than me and Pomu combined, so on the third week after we started dating, I had to ask her after we went to the theater together if we really were in a relationship, because neither me or her "confirmed". She politely said yes, and I didn't knew how to reply, so we walked in silence for a few minutes.
Oh my inner bad traumas are resurfacing even though it didn't happen to me
Geeky nerd
-pomu
That amazing feeling when you are very much NOT a normie. Feelsgoodman.
*Riajus shinee*
Poor Pomu lol
You can almost feel Pomu's pain while teliing this whole story and yeah I guess anyone with a bad experiences with normies that pain stays with us..
Those popular kids will never be as popular as Pomu ever
This kinda hurts this old nerd's heart....
He's missing out man...
When you are a geeky nerd, NORMIE is ur biggest nemesis.
They are sleek and everything but honest.
"I hate Normie" -Pomu
Oh dear
I really wish Id met a female otaku like pomu. My nerdy otaku friends were always my go to and most fun to hang with. Had normy friends too but they were all just about popularity, drama, drugs, drinking etc lol.
Sounds like that guy is flirting with more than one girl at the same time and the first girl to reciprocate would be his girlfriend. It's like those guys who swipes right on everyone on dating apps even without reading their profile just to get more matches.
when she said "but the guy once came to me" I thought I heard something way different
NORMIES EXPLODE!!
*Reject normie life, embrace a dakimakura*
May this be a lesson for all of us: never trust a normie.
Also, where did you say this guy live? I think pomudachis would like to pay him a visit, you know just to check how he's doing :3 for legal reasons this is joke xD
Never trust anybody, normies are the worst but the truth is that you can not trust anybody believe me
I'm a lift-bro and need to find a girl who isn't a normie either. Why isn't there is a website for non-normies to meet?
While I'm not the biggest anime watcher, I'm not opposed to watching it from time to time.
this is some kind of anime story where I rarely watch it
My first crushes were Jane from Tarzan & Rachael from Friends
Still aprob 👍🏼
They were both hot so I think you had good tastes
I feel you. Cbm tho
Karma, for ignoring Rival-kun.
Im making different scenes in my head (anime style)
Say it with me:
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Two reasons: the guy "tried" pomu in bed and left or he just lost a bet
Normies be like that
What?
@@Enerjjak probably wanted to get in her pants (he probably knew she had crush on him) probably went no where so publicly announced he was dating and didn't keep her as a side chick.
@@darkky65 no I got that. I mean what the first guy said. the "tried in bed and left" part implied that the guy actually managed to get that far which she never indicated so I was wondering where they got that idea from. Either that or they just meant "tried to" instead which is would be more reasonable
Of course he was a normie, nobody likes nerds, including other nerds. The best nerds can hope for is lowering of expectations.
"I don't wanna watch anime"
*Imagine*
Awww Pomu is too relatable, who doesn't hate normies? xD
Poor Pomu, he could be making her jealous or is it some kind of "dare"
Funny how nowadays, gamers and geek back then is the popular people nowadays... Well kinda
I have a lot of normie friends. Some might judge me for liking anime and being a nerd, but I use to judge them for liking K-Pop or whatever.
In the end it's not what we like or dislike that matters, but how we treat each other :)
uwahh...😂
I'm sure there are quite a few that will dislike the 4chan format, but...
>Boy is popular and part of the cool kids clique.
>"He wasn't like a Chad or anything like that."
>Boy had a terrible personality.
>Boy had various girls with a crush on him.
>Boy came onto naive Pomu in order to neg the popular girl.
>Boy's friends bullied Pomu.
>Boy doesn't care for his harem's hobbies.
>Boy announces publicly that he has a crush on Pomu so he can maintain a monopoly on his harem's attention.
>Boy declares publicly that he's in a relationship with another girl.
>Boy refuses to elaborate further.
I'm pretty sure that boy was a Chad. Though to look on the bright side, at least Pomu didn't get screwed over mentally like the women on FDS.
I guess we have different viewpoints of what a chad is
A Chad is not someone who bullies the weak, a true Chad is nice to all, no matter who they are, this douchebag was just a loser
Everyone is pomu because pomu is the only one that matters: the shoujo protagonist.
And well pomu, it was good while it lasted
