Gba was good when you went after all the good games. It’s mostly just ports and bad licensed stuff but the 20 or so original and compelling games are worth it

That's probably because the version in Smooth Moves is identical to this in concept, both being games where you scare a crowd away {see "Crowd Control (Warioware Smooth Moves)" on MarioWiki}
One thing I noticed about the Star Fox boss microgame from Smooth Moves (which was made into a regular microgame in Gold) is that its "base speed" is about 20% higher than usual, a trait not shared by any other WarioWare microgame or its Gold remake. I think you should point that out when you do your Smooth Moves comparison video.

Of course if you are referring the INC version, that does happen, but in Gold it's still victory if you miss it and it's visible. At max speed at least one or two hits are enough to pass and after that ball can't fall from the screen

It's definitely a downgrade. They should've added these new gimmicks to the original idea, and it would still be a cool boss micro game. The difference would be that it should've been a combination microgame. First, you float down by Balloon, avoiding spears and crocodiles, by tilting the 3DS; then when you hit the water, you go up and down with the control pad and avoid water cats. That is when we transition to the rest of the game that was from the original, except now the controls are changed a bit once you grab the jetpack, as you destroy boulders with the stylus and grab batteries with the tilt controls.

I like Inc better as well. Can't really tell why
I don't really prefer Inc but i still gave it up a try and wont say it was boring, it was pretty fun lol but i just cleared the game in 1 hour

Put all 3 levels together and you get a full Boss microgame.
It's definitely a downgrade. They should've added these new gimmicks to the original idea, and it would still be a cool boss micro game. The difference would be that it should've been a combination microgame.
First, you float down by Balloon, avoiding spears and crocodiles, by tilting the 3DS; then when you hit the water, you go up and down with the control pad and avoid water cats. That is when we transition to the rest of the game that was from the original, except now the controls are changed a bit once you grab the jetpack, as you destroy boulders with the stylus and grab batteries with the tilt controls.
Its a downgrade cause its no longer a boss microgame :v
I think is Wario's Adventure for 3DS is the untold story.
I prefer it as a boss even though I hated it when I was younger lol I miss that red square you have to hit with the boomerang
