It's scary how many people have drop shipping stores when you could easily buy off Ali express directly
@Chase Smith I felt that way initially, but in reality it's how things work with a large number of retail stores. If you go into a clothing store there's a very high chance that they've just bought a bunch of it from a Chinese wholesaler, stuck their own branded tags on it it sold it for 4-5 times the price. If the customer is happy with the quality of the product for the price they paid then everyone's happy.
I bought a dress for $50 2 years ago and absolutely love it, recently I saw it on aliexpress for $11.. whilst I was like "oh dang", I really love the dress and it looks fabulous so I still feel like I wasn't ripped off, considering $50 is the standard retail price for something of that nature where I live.
@Chase Smith i'd like to think of dropshipping as human-curated resellers. While you can definitely buy stuff on aliexpress for cheaper, most people don't know how to find products that are actually LEGIT on there. You take time and resources out of your day to make sure you are reselling quality products. Well, not all do, there will be dropshippers who scam, but that's my reason for me to keep trying.
Hi guys. So I always wnated to buy and sell items from Ali. I noticed that people in my country buy stuff from Ali Express on deposit (deposit paid by the customers ). I thiught of buying the items and sell directly than requiring customers to pay deposit. So today I bought a few items which were only 12 in total with the budget I had. My goal was to buy 100 of this item but I didn't work out. I just realized that I will not make it to buy 100 items, I will need way more extra cash to do that. So i thought of posting the items I am thinking of selling on social media (IG/ facebook) what people use here to advertise, so whoever will be interested in those items I post then I will ask them to pay a deposit of which I will use to buy the items. Someone with advice/ tips? TIA
go to Shopify make a website for whatever items u wanna sell. Post pics of the items u wanna sell and advertise on Facebook. When someone buys the item, You will get the money of the item they just bought. Then use a portion of that money and buy the item they want from Ali express or other whole sale business and ship the item to the customers address. U can do this with pretty much no money. Just need money for Facebook ads and monthly subscription for Shopify. Hope this helps

Thanks for the info, the video wasn't really what I was looking for but I think it'll be useful for my potential client. The one part of this video I found to be misleading is talking about how someone can start with as little 20 dollars to buy a domain and hosting. My client thought the same, he bought a few domains from some company I've never heard of that promised him hosting as well. It's been weeks and he still doesn't have any control over the domains. Your video doesn't mention that a good web designer costs money. And, to build not just a simple static site but one with any kind of eCommerce will at the very least costs hundreds and even even thousands. Also, most designers can set their clients up with reliable hosting and even register the domain for them. Aside from that, the video does a good job of breaking the process.

Hey, Thank you for the wonderful video. I have a question. Are you really sure of the epacket service? the reason of asking this is as when I am checking the 'epacket' box on the aliexpress store, the product appearing under are still showing high shipping fee. For the product as cheap as USD 0.80, the shipping fee is USD 10.
I have tested this in quite a few products. Just wanted to have your comments/ view. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Vinny, I would personally recommend to sell products that are proven that is selling but not over saturated market. For Home decor, find a specific product then check if it has high orders from aliexpress and find competitors selling this product if they are on 'Best sellers' section. Then beat your competitors by offering a faster shipping, great marketing copy, etc. Hope it helps! :)

Also most domain providers require payment for the whole year, no month to month. Example a domain for $15 a month, will be $180 due at signing.
Nonsense go to an Islandic provider like Orangewebsite or so. Pay per quarter or per month. For a fistful of dollars you are in bueinsse.

Hi MovioLogy, most of the 3rd party apps can automate the ordering process by adding the customer's name, order and shipping information to your AliExpress checkout but you must place the order to the AliExpress supplier.
Some of the advanced Dropshippers hire virtual assistant to help them with order fulfillment.

How to open ur own store?
So if you’re dropshipping on EBay, You are individual processing each order on AliExpress to ship? Or does a order on EBay automatically go to AliExpress to handle? How do you prevent the Chinese address from showing on packaging to customer? Also most epacket are still showing 1 month shipping times.....

Hi Chi, you would need a 3rd party application to automate the order fulfillment in AliExpress. For the users who are Dropshipping on Shopify, they use Oberlo extension to automate the order fulfillment. For the Chinese address in packaging, I would recommend that you add notes for every AliExpress purchase and mention that you are doing dropshipping & don't want to display the logo/address on the packaging.

Selling trademarked or branded products need you to have a license before you can re-sell them. Talk about Apple, Samsung, Nike, Adidas, Fitbit , and other big brands in the market - they are all under licensing agreement that protects their brand value by limiting their distribution channels.
To become an authorized distributor, you need to contact the manufacturer themselves and fill-out an application form to do this. Usually, they require a large minimum purchase (about $100,000 or even more), while others may prohibit you from selling brands made by competitors. Depending on their license agreements, you need to be able to fulfill their requirements for you to become an authorized retailer.
If you’re just starting out, there’s another legal way to re-sell branded goods and that’s through sourcing from liquidators. Liquidators are suppliers that sell their products at very low prices in order to move stocks. Popular liquidation sales happen during end of season, or if a company is moving out, or have gone bankrupt.

'Im Dropshipping. Please DO NOT put any invoices, QR codes, promotions or your brand name & logo. Please ship as soon as possible for repeat business. Thank you'

You have to place the order yourself using the customer's information for shipping, the customer pays you, you pay the supplier and keep the difference.

@@krisreece7729 it does have a shipping label on it that says it comes from the manufacturer but unless you're branding the customer would only care that they got what was advertised.

Buying from retailers and such btw is not a good idea. Get into wholesaling for way better profits. So many people buying stuff from walmart and other stores or websites... Why pay 35 and sell for 45 or 50 when you can buy for 17 and sell for 35-50 lol especially when a simple google search shows how insane your price is.
How about when Ali Express send the receipt with the product
Hi Naoufal, I would suggest to leave a note to the AliExpress supplier before you proceed with the checkout. Most dropshippers do this and will mention that don't add any receipt or marketing for repeat business. Hope it helps :)
Forgot to mention that Gateways ( PayPal etc) will hold funds for more than 20 days and you need to ship the items with your own money untill the PayPal releases the others

Hi Beatnik, Brand name products are only sold through their website, stores, and authorized dealers. Their products are not available in wholesale, let alone through dropshipping.
The best way to source these products via SaleHoo is through liquidators. Liquidator is a supplier type that sell products at clearance/liquidation sales. Liquidation sales occur when a store wishes to get rid of stock and liquidize assets for a move, or, when a company has gone bankrupt.

Hi Kanak, happy to help here! You could manually add the products to your website but challenge in the future will be the ordering process. Let's say you added this 'cool sunglasses' to your own website. If a customer orders a product then you need to manually order to AliExpress supplier. This will be manageable if you have less than 5 orders per day only. But imagine if you get 50+ orders per day which is not ideal to do manually.
Most of the dropshippers today use Shopify to build their store so they could automate (1) adding products and (2) ordering, using a 3rd party tool. We have the SaleHoo Dropship Tool where it can help you automatically import AliExpress products to your Shopify website. Hi Kuba, Yes aliexpress suppliers can sell 1 product for cheap price. You can always check the delivery time when opening the product page and selecting shipping options on where to delivery. Most of the aliexpress suppliers are from China and delivery estimate is 30 days & more. But good think is some of these suppliers have local warehouse and ship shorter (e.g. You have customer from the US and found aliexpress supplier with US warehouse. So how do u advertise
Hi! I recently opened a store through big cartel and promoted all things through social media platform and using AliExpress and selling things in my website. Basically doing dropshipping, I got few orders recently but I’m using PayPal and they sent me an email saying I have to wait until customer receives his order until then they will hold the money. What can I do to ship the items faster if the seller don’t have epackage?

You need a vendors license actually to do this legally. Which is 25$ in my state. You need a bank acccount which lowest will be 5$ if you go to a credit union. And if you use paypal ebay amazon or most of the big name platforms they hold your money for 14 to 21 days or more.... So technically you do need start up capital. Until you meet the requirements as a trusted seller. Which ebay i believe is like 25 sells AND 250$ in selling fees. As far as websites and advertising go there are work arounds. But starting with a small budget it is best to be on a developed platform then move to your own shop when you have enough funding coming in so your not paying for anything. But i am researching sites atm to avoid ebay paypal and amazon because they are straight up con artists.

Hi Faizal, most dropshippers only order the products to AliExpress supplier once they get a sale/order from their customer on their store.
-A customer order from their store
-Dropshipper will get order details, customer name and address
-Dropshipper will place the order to AliExpress, fill-up customer name, shipping details and proceed with payment.
If you buy bulk products in AliExpress then delivered to your address then you need to ship to your customer one by one which is not ideal.

I don’t know how much to put for each country, and it is a very difficult and impossible, I just need some method which can take all shipping information from that seller from Aliexpress ? For example, one product - clock, and if someone order from France, another person order from USA, or some small country? How I can now all od this shipping price for each, and how to set everything about it.. Great question! The shipping options are set by each AliExpress supplier and we don't have control on this. They can pick freely on which countries to deliver to depending on the Warehouse. They can also adjust prices and carriers as they wish.
Unfortunately, there's no filter available in AliExpress to get shipping information from a seller. I would suggest to contact the AliExpress supplier directly and see if they could provide list of product that you want to sell and shipping options available.

Hi Marko, most of the Dropshippers use their customer address to order products in AliExpress, you don't need to do another shipping which will cost $$$ from you.
But I would recommend to leave a message to AliExpress supplier when ordering a product.

For the order sample and custom packaging, best is to contact the AliExpress suppliers if they offer this service. It will highly depend on your suppliers if they allow adding logo to the packaging.

Most of the dropshippers use Shopify platform since it's easy to list the aliexpress product and has secure payment. You can use a canned response something like:
'Im Dropshipping. Please DO NOT put any invoices, QR codes, promotions or your brand name & logo. Please ship as soon as possible for repeat business. Thank you'
