Proud owner of Fiat LINEA for almost 9 years and I can say it's a pretty fun and comfortable to drive car.still pulling strong with stock tyres, wipers, air & oil filter, timing belt, bulbs, water pump & hoses, engine & gearbox other than timely change of engine, gear, brake & power steering oil and coolant. Though there is no after sales service out here in my state I still manage to service it myself as there is 99 rpm for the service parts. Love this car.
Kudos to Fiat for doing things differently and not compromising on the ride , handling and safety and am happy they do not indulge in cost cutting to produce tin cans which are unsafe and are meant for the kitna deti hai lovers . Abarth Punto & Avvy are a big treat for real enthusiasts.
@ Maulik Bhatia...it is the same diesel engines of Fiat that powers most of the competition, though under different names. The better power and performance of the competition powered by the same Fiat engine is again due to their lesser weight. Hats off to Fiat for not compromising on safety.
Best car in indian hatch / crossover segment tried my hand on most of them this one really impressed very responsive engine and steering planning to get one :)
along with the awe inspiring drive auto-car could have done more justice to the car by talking about its other strengths i.e terrific built quality and very well appointed interiors. no desire or maruti licker will appreciate this.
Heard Fiat India is working on starting to manufacture 1.6 MJD locally for upcoming Jeep Compact SUV, the Renegade and the same would also later be installed in the later to come Fiat models like the Tipo and Fiat's own CSUV that will be based on the Renegade setup. Also they're planning to bring in the newer gear boxes both manual and automatic. If these news are true, that would be about time and really interesting Fiat products to wait for.
What use is the compass for? Finding a dealer or authorized service center no matter where you live?? Jokes apart its a amazing car wish they fared better in terms of after sales service. Also can anybody tell me the soundtrack they used in the starting of the video , i like it!
What is the advantage of torque steer, I mean in city traffic also it's quite dangerous bec no one has experienced this phenomena before in this segment.
+maxmavrick7 Torque steer doesnt happen when you drive normally, it's only when you bury the accelerator pedal that too only in 1st gear. Nothing to whine about imo. :)
Less weight, at least in the said cost category equates to less metal and consequently lesser structural strength and makes the car less safe...The lesser weight give better mileage and better power to weight ratio...at the cost of safety. Fiat cars are much more solidly built and safer than the Koreans and Maruti..... And as for "light-weight and hardened materials"....you mean.like carbon composites????
As of now no stocks. Abarth versions are sold out. Hopefully they may make another batch soon. I assume Fiat will sell these wonderful cars until April 2020. You need to get in touch with the dealer. I am planning to buy one to replace my petrol Swift 🙂.
Fiat really needs a good diesel motor these ones are only for select few, if they want to move up in the market they have to do away with current diesel tuning or get the engine altogether!
it seems we Indian are taking eternity to warmup to such a car that most importantly guarantees Ur safety.look at what the Toyota did to etios to fend off a Suzuki or Hyundai.
The suzuki Baleno just weighs just 865 kg and got 110 BHP in "1.0 Ltr Boosterjet engine" .... therefore power to weight ratio= 127.16 BHP per ton. The fiat Punto Abarth weighs a hefty 1095 kg and got 145 BHP in "1.4 ltr T-Jet engine"....therefore the power to weight ratio=132.45 BHP per ton. Both come neck and neck It would be nice to the Boosterjet version of Baleno in India soon..... Fiat has to learn to use light weight and hardened materials as used in Baleno....
Try switching lanes at 80-100 kmph and you will agree the handling prowess of a fiat although the Suzuki is a good product FIAT are bought with the heart the Japanese product is more peace of mind but not so exciting as the Italian 😊
yeah..!agree with that....But Baleno Boosterjet model's suspension will be tuned to match the dynamics and to maintain the stability at high speeds....Hence body roll will be minimized
Bro....i agree with you....but one thing i need to tell u is the fact that light weight doesn't mean that the car is unsafe and as well more weight won't mean more safety.....the only thing matters is the type of materials used to build the components of the car...be it engine, chassis etc., For example take carbon fiber and steel, in this the steel is significantly heavier and MOST IMPORTANTLY NOT AS STRONG AS CARBON FIBER.On the other hand though, the carbon fiber is LIGHTER and STRONGER than STEEL. Same goes to the aluminium which is used in Baleno, which is stiffer and harder same as that of a steel but lighter in weight..in addition to this the suspension and wheelbase is tuned and adjusted respectively to achieve a good high speed stability and the ABS system and the Airbag's collision sensor is updated and much more safer than before In the Baleno...................................................... The fact about some of the indian car buyers is "MORE THE MILEAGE, BETTER WILL BE THE CAR" and its complete shitmath
+Harshith SV do you mean not to consider the torsional rigidity of the cars structure.I dont feel the light weight high tensile steel will provide that. Is thats why the swift got failed in Global NCAP test results .Just by adding the airbags ,the car is not safe (airbags are passive only),the actual safety of the car is that the cabin structure should not get affected during collisions mainly adding to that wearing proper seatbelt with SRS airbag will protect the driver and passengers. Suzuki cars have other strong points and advantages better than Fiat cars ,but not in the matter of safety.FIAT cars are known for "BUILT LIKE A TANK".

Bought Punto Evo Emotion last month, built like a tank, and superb stability in the car with hydraulic steering.
I observe your comments in almost every Indian car review. Your comments are good and sensible unlike most. Cheers.
I drove this. Too powerful. Much much better than most of the sedans.
In 2019 and crying because i cannot buy one 😰😰😰
Good that you posted this Punto review. Being a Fiat nobody else will care to do so. Thanks from a real enthusiast.
I wish we could buy this in the UK!! We only get the 500 Abarth. Please Fiat UK give us more choice.
Still we don't have a better crossover vehicle in India.
2024 anyone ?
Thanks for not crushing the butterfly @2:57...Gud driving renuka
superb observation
wow bro
the looks of the car is damn awesome

+Manoj. G Nair The gearing also plays a part i suppose, but yes the weight largely
Nothing like a avventura
Best handling and steering feel is in punto

True
You can't find this in South Africa.
This is like the "Cross Punto"
i guess fiat needs to do a little more to improve its brand image !!
would love to see some punto races organized by fiat
Why is It not on sale in europe? I like It.
Paul Meester Because Europe has better crossovers.
Is it having the same engine of punto...can anyone clear my doubt
No its got a different engine by Abarth
This car would be a great collectible

Also can anybody tell me the soundtrack they used in the starting of the video , i like it!
that's their custom-made intro track they use for all their videos
Fiat group had maserati,Ferrari,RAM,Alfa romeo,Fiat,Dodge,Cryshler and more now how big is it
Venkat Nihar and Jeep
Please update the design, bring new cars, we fiatians are waiting for the new arrivals....
igno kuriakose Hyundai is buying fiat soon
Built like a TANK....
Of riding is not going to mud roads.. the tru thing is pathole in the city roads.. snd broken roads and flyover joints..
Good car low maintenance
is adventura good for off-road hill road??
One of the best car for hills.
+Palash Sharma they feel secure in their swift
Hehahaha They sure do! :D
Dislikers on this video are the ones who wanted to ask but can't..
"Kitna Deti Hai?" :D
haha very true...
Please sell this engine to TATA or any other company which sells in India at affordable prices..
@@applerocks The new Nissan kicks produces around 156bhp :)
can the torque steer be controlled by upgrading avventura with good tires????

Hello Mam, is this car still on roads? Available to buy? After i heard of fiat moving out, not sure if these cars are available yet for Indian market?
Nitesh RS cars are available , Fiat is clearing the available stocks , servicing will be provided in jeep showroom
As of now no stocks. Abarth versions are sold out. Hopefully they may make another batch soon. I assume Fiat will sell these wonderful cars until April 2020. You need to get in touch with the dealer. I am planning to buy one to replace my petrol Swift 🙂.
Whats the meaning to invest in hot hatch wch we cannot njoy the engine power
this is not a hatch, this is a crossover...
+Rajinder Singh for name sake n stying
Now imagine if it had a 1.8 or 2.0L, and variable air suspension!
just need to improve interior layout .......this car have potential to dominate hatch segment
Fiat really needs a good diesel motor these ones are only for select few, if they want to move up in the market they have to do away with current diesel tuning or get the engine altogether!
renuka sharp as ever. big fan!
Will I expected around 160-180 bhp.In Europe a standard t-jet produces 140 bhp
Fiat is on the right track. Finally !!!
For the body roll and torque steer, replacing the tyres with a wider stickier ones would actually solve the problem, don't you think? +AutoCar
can you do a ABARTH 1.4 VS POLO GT review???
both of us know which is better, so no need
Even I was looking for those videos but could find just one. Shame!
FIAT should have given scorpio badge instead of fiat one...like in abarth punto

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
why can't Fiat put 1.6 multijet to spice things up ..
They're bringing it in for Jeep. Hopefully we'll see it in later models of Fiat itself like the Tipo & a compact SUV for India in 2017-18.
it seems we Indian are taking eternity to warmup to such a car that most importantly guarantees Ur safety.look at what the Toyota did to etios to fend off a Suzuki or Hyundai.
Questo esemplare xche' nn è stato portato in Italia? Nn l'ho capita boo !!!
Abarth..!!! really !! thn 0-100km.....sec??????
+Sunil KUMAR K.P It might reach 100 kph IN 9.5 sseconds
you should have reviewed the Fiat abarth -_-
arre bhai kitna deti hai ??
+Gaurav Shringarpure 17 deti hai. Logo ko highway par 18-20 bhi dedeti hai. XD
+Gaurav Shringarpure This car is not meant for mileage. For that you can choose the thin tyre, thinner body panelled MAruti's , Hondas and Hyundais.
i would still like to know :P
Dont hate on maruti and honda
They do what they do best

Yeah...i agree with you. But the center of gravity will be much high in Fiat cars than that of Suzuki cars.
E se ho capito bene è un 4x4
