But then I saw a few clips of K-On! on UA-cam, and decided it was worth watching and since then I have finished 100s of anime, but K-On is still one that I frequently re-watch.
The difference in the second version of the first opening is A. Visually, they add azusa (the second guitar player) and B. they also add a second guitar to the audio.
So, Fun Fact! The Voice Actresses actually learned (at a very basic level) to play their characters instruments, and did actually go on a concert tour playing all these songs, in addition to many of the insert and character songs! You can find clips online, and it looks like it was a great time!
