This is the first test of a new way to bend trees.
We plan to make a more fancy corner shelf by improving the shortcomings.

I was a contractor for 40 years. This man is so much more than a carpenter.
Hey buddy, don’t sell yourself short I’m sure with the right frame of mind you could handle it
Contractor doesn't mean carpenter!
@@vitalief9291 😂😂😂
Back in my day.
Are you talking about Jesus ? He was//is so much more than a carpenter ! Excellent carpentry and detail.
Not only is this man a talented carpenter. He is a artistic craftsman! A brilliant one at that.
That's not carpentry, that's art! Amazing work!
I love that he puts so much heart, craft and effort and also has the taste to leave raw OSB as a wall finish.
Raw OSB is one of my favorites, there are just so many things it can do, not only as a material but visually it gives so much texture and you can really finish it in an infinite amount of ways
Breathless. You left me astonished.
선박만든다는줄알고 봤네요. 중간까진 그런줄....ㅋㅋㅋ 멋진 선반 잘봤습니다.
I’ve seen plenty of experienced carpenters build solid wood traditional shelves.
This is something else entirely, this is an artist at work! 👏
He is a master craftsman with some really great design ideas. That shelving system alone would make any room that needs shelving into a functional work of art. Bravo!
Enjoyed watching how the curves in the wood were formed. Fascinating.
That was very clever. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing your work.
To be honest, when I saw the thumbnail I didn’t think I would like it. I WAS WRONG. This is FABULOUS!
What a beautiful Job!
I love the effect you created. Amazing.
the whole time I'm thinking...how the heck are those 2x6s not breaking? Incredible work man.
Me too. Careful grain selection and even more careful movements is my guess.
I've made shop counters and bars from a sketch on the bench then gone out fixing them " make it and take it" but hats off I've never seen it done like that before, 55 year old
This wins UA-cam.
Unique technique to wedge all those cuts. Very slick and perfectly executed. So impressed.
And this dear kids is why you should do your Geometry at school. I cannot fathom all the imagination, the skill, the calculating, the creativity, the workmanship and the proficiencies you need to creating this stunning piece of art. So mesmerizing to watch the process and I love your machines 😍🤩
Has nothing to do with school, lol.
"you should do your Geometry at school. I cannot fathom all the... calculating" - teach yourself a CAD package (OpenCAD is free), design the thing by boolean operation between solids, then read the compound angles from the design.
Fingers crossed that the "teaching Geometry to the test" in the school didn't rot your imagination and creativity.
Actually, it did not. I am a fashion designer and designing sewing pattern. And yes, I do use software in 3D, but more specific to textile and fashion. You still need the understanding, even if you do not calculate everything by hand. Beforehand it is in your mind. The rest are just tools to bring your idea to life, @@col0342
@@tinalisapattern My apology, I intended to use an impersonal form of "you". Something on the line of "hopefully, teaching geometry to the test didn't rot one's imagination and creativity".
And I agree, understanding geometry is necessary even if a CAD is a tool which brings in a tremendous support in calculating the specifics of each particular case.
Wow. Well done. Nicest corner shelf I've ever seen.
impressive, creative and a very beautiful project, thank you
Love the look of those shelves!! Fabulous! Very elegant! I admire your skill and creativity. 😁
Thank you for a good look. Have a nice day.😊👍👍
Well that beats the hell out of IKEA stuff. Simply amazing.
Well done, wonderful imagination
I work at Lowe’s. I have that bent board and many like it in stock right now. Take your pick!!!!
A true craftsman and artist combo here.
This is a master carpenter.
holey moley! totally awesome! couldn't figure out where he was headed, but well worth the wait!
Working with all those angles… 🤦🏻♂️ I’m a woodworker, and a fairly decent one at that, but I could learn a thing or two from this guy. That was ridiculously well done!
"A thing or two" lol head smack your self a thousand more times.
Respect to your talent. Impressive.
With the amazing effort he put into the wood crafting, it breaks my heart to see him pull the amateur move of exposed screws.
That’s the most bad ass carpenter work I ever seen great work
Well that's freaking remarkable. Great job!
Chapeau pour la conception et la réalisation.
RESPEKT!!!👍👍👍👍
Ich als Schreiner bin nicht mal auf so eine Idee gekommen und kann von diesem Mann wirklich was lernen!
Man lernt niemals aus!
Vielen Dank für diese freundlichen Worte.

This is a true artist!
Brilliant!!
Wow that looks amazing!
Fun to watch. Nice finish. Style points for sure.
I don't often see new ideas and techniques on UA-cam anymore; just other people's versions of someone else's ideas. This is truly unique and innovative. Well done.
Wow! This is stunning
Beautiful work.
CREATIVE, inventive, marvelous! Nicely done!

That's how an experienced Japanese carpenter build's a corner shelf!
That's why you pay for experience, fantastic skill...
Amazing, and beautiful!
Now that was a wicked project
That was beautiful! Nice!
This is so awesome. If I owned my own bookstore or ski shop......I would definitely build this into the store. ✌
What you really mean is, I will have him build it in for me. This wasn't exactly a DYI instructional video.
Just a work of art.
Insanely beautiful
Simply STUNNING
This are one of the coolest shelves I've ever seen!!! I absolutely love it.
👍😉
What a great vision, and using simple techniques in very smart ways to achieve it!
Thank you for those kind words.👍😁
That’s sick af!!
Being able to build something like this makes him an artist. If this was his original idea he’s something along the lines of a DaVinci.
This is purely my idea.😌

Then my admiration is rather much at peak level. This is truly art. And since I don’t ‘do’ art it always leaves me perplexed as to how this degree of creativity works.
Great work.
Прекрасная работа, отличное применение угла. Подписка.

Beautiful work! I don't think I could replicate it if I tried a dozen times, but it's still cool being able to see someone make something like that from wood!
