Tyvm for the vid. Curious the lower rear buttons extend pretty far down. I generally use my pinky fingers to partially support/hold the bottom of the controller. With that said are the lower rear buttons an issue of accidently being pressed while you're holding? Judging your preview grip it looks to be fine but I am curious how sensitive the buttons are at that region of the controller. Ty and gratz on your new controller.
Hey thank you for the comment. My initial impressions, it is very comfortable and you dont normally press the lower buttons unless you are a jumpy gamer like myself. You can assign the buttons to no action or double down on the left 2 buttons being the same and the right 2 being the same (something I'm currently doing) which means you have the whole area to press instead of just the upper button. My muscle memory hasn't helped me with pressing the 4 buttons separately just yet but i'll be practicing that for the full review video coming in a few days. I hope that helps 👍
Hi @vi3tcious , I don't think so. Most people have measured it at 4ms. I haven't yet tested it myself though. Will be adding it to my full review after a couple of weeks of testing.
For professional E-Sports it's probably a bit too high but for normal game play it's going to be fine. In fact its going to be on par or slightly better than the stock controllers listed below. However, w/ possible firmware updates and/or overclocking you might be able to lower it. PS5: 5 to 6 frames of input delay PS4: 5 frames of input delay Xbox X: 4 frames of input delay Xbox S: 4 to 5 frames of input delay PC: 2 frames of input delay
I asked another unboxing video creator and he said he tested it in COD on console and yes it has gyro. He can’t confirm if the PC mode has gyro, but in my experience with the PS4 era Nacon Revolution, Steam will recognize the controller as a PS controller in PS mode, so that’s good enough for me. I do hope the PC mode itself has gyro though, it would just be nice to not have to use remapped to pssthru the gyro on non-steam games.
I will test it out. I did try it in COD and did not give me a gyro input. Maybe some settings to figure out. Will include this info in the full review in the next few days 👍
Can you post a review up please?
Yes, I'll be working on it over the next few days so keep an eye out 🫡
