trustrecordsco...
Trust Records was formed to give classic punk and hardcore records the home that they deserve. The great records of this genre sprung from DIY roots to influence millions of disaffected kids around the world. As we now move into the “streaming age” it’s crucial to keep their spirit and legacy alive. Our focus is to ensure this music is available for all future generations while also getting the story right.
At 55 years old, I am now limping mild in the streets😏
Rock yr limp 40 and going there
I hear ya!
😂
🤣🤷🏻♀️🤣
Lmfao😅
I'm 68 seen these guys at least 20 times love hard-core punk
68 today and still WILD in the Streets
I’m 42.. for some reason I keep thinking I’m old. What’s it like being 68?.
It's a bitch LOL. Still blast the Busa to 160 but my reaction times have taken a 68 year hit.@@evanabt8578
@@evanabt8578The day you turn 40, you start to feel older. That’s what happened to me anyway. It’s not really that old though.
I'm 47 tryin to see em for the first time in 24
The way he yells WILD!!! Into that microphone is downright inspiring
I like the runnin', runnin' in the chorus
Thank you Metal/Punk/Hardcore. It saved a lot of lives.😊
It did, still does!
Since some people dont check the discription heres a list OFF all skaters featured;

Hey thanks!
Swear I seen Jessie Martinez in there too but F yeah Olson !
I recognized Tony Hawk and Christian Hosoi right away.
Man does this bring back memories....growing up in this era and skating.
OLSON!!!!
@@lanceeverhard6951 Steve-O the OG not the Jackass.
The 80's!! 👏👏😍 There'll NEVER be a decade like that *ever* again! And I'm thrilled to have been in it!! ❤️
*recogniSed
Is that Mountain in the orange shirt?
I was almost convinced it was all old school until I saw the cars! Haha so awesome 🤙🏼
Holy shit you are right! 🤯
Tony hawk in the pink shirt
music video is OG, but good call on the skate footage.
dang you are right
All old school pioneers keeping it real though. I think that was the main focus within the modern day edit. Still kicking it old skool
Heard them talking about this on hawk vs wolf, came out rad!
Is that Tony Hawk in the red shirt towards the end?? The one doing the handstand on the planter
Yes it is, they also have the full list of skaters in the description too if you recognize anyone and want to confirm it’s them
Everytime when I'm like WAS THAT TONY HAWK, of course it was Tony Hawk...
Why does this only have 8k views? This is the raddest video I've seen in ages. 40 years old and this song still kicks ass.
It was just released 2 days ago.
@@surferdude420 this video, not the music
@@skeven0 obviously, but he’s talking about the video having only 8k views.
Over 102k views now. 6/8/22
Now over 203 thousand views. 6/16/23
64 Valiant handful a Valiums couple a beers really do me right
Lance Mountain recreating his classic cruising/street part from the bones brigade's video show at the end made me so happy
Lance is still the King of Dork Street Skating
☠️
duane peters crying watch this lol
For reference, here's the '77 rerelease vid of the original Garland Jeffreys '73 45. ua-cam.com/video/3RzBZsOeqOQ/v-deo.html .
So, '70s v '80s, Joey Ramone v Tony Hawks, Son of Sam v Hillside Strangler...
Culture is a bit of a bitch, ain't it?
This should be the official Go Skate Day anthem!!
It isn’t?
I agree
It IS and HAS BEEN B4 you had Atari!
'Handful of valiums, couple of beers really do me right'! True dat!
Never knew the video for this song was basically an old school skate video. Killer.
It's not, it's a Los Angeles Cable T.V. show, before """the money changers""" got rid of free t.v. channels, that had CJ on to promote "NEW WAVE" musik
yeah, never thought of them as a skste band , but it works great, but I never knew the circle jerks did music videos LOL!! some how was lucky enough to see them in the mid 80s
@@taddricketts7921so what behind Freedom of Choice this is RAD !
Thrashin brought me here 35 years ago and still going strong!
I think I was first introduced to this song in the movie “Thrashin’”. That scene where he’s being chased down that circular car park ramp. Circle Jerks’ magnum opus right here.
It’s Webster! GET EM!!
I love this music video so much it blew my mind when I realized they were splicing band footage and current skating footage (I noticed the cars and Metro buses and it tipped me off what the editor was doing). About three years ago I used to commute into Hollywood to work and would walk to my bus stop on parts of the walk of fame, so seeing it in the video reminded me of that commute a lot. I was probably blasting music like the Circle Jerks in my ears while walking on the same sidewalk shown in this video. I keep coming back to this video every day, it's like an addiction.
Man this music video alone is amazing to see how much Los Angeles has changed bonus points if you recognize every filming location
Needs some footage from Thrashin'!
Wow the Circle Jerks are coming to Michigan on September 17th but Grand rapids which is about a 3-hour drive for me damn I would love to see them... But I don't know ugh!🤘
This video is everything I imagined, ever since I first heard it and would just skate from Santa Monica to LA.. fuck yeah!!!! Can't wait to see them live!>__

I bought this album when it came out and I have never seen this video until now. I never associated the Circle Jerks with skateboarding.
This is arguably the best Circle Jerks album (other is Group Sex).
It blows my mind that the Circle Jerks had a video for this album much less one with skateboarding in it.
Who are the original skate punks?
I would have figured JFA.
I started skateboarding at 61, now 64. And crippled ...Yay!
Started at 61? Dmn NICE!
Hell yeah we used to see Circle Jerks play in Sacramento all the time in the 80s
What was that club? Three Blind Mice or something like that???
@@johnbarber7952The Only Name I can remember was the crest theater
Just saw them last Friday, front stage in the pit was legendary for the books. Old School 57y and still thrashing S.G.V........LA was a great seen. Monrovia kicks ass
I looked up " punk" in the dictionary and it said " Circle Jerks"👍
I looked up "Circle Jerks" in the dictionary. It didn't say "punk" 😉
Played with these guys a couple of times back in those days….
Did I see Alice Bag?
Tell her I love her.
This song and video is a summary of my teenage years. 87 until the summer of 93.
What happened after 93?
I don't remember anything.......
So..maybe it didn't happen.
@@bojcioCollege.
Younger than the people in the video ?
Could not have been a more perfect video to this song! Time to go skate!!!
Zander Schloss is a time traveler....
Better than Black Flag IMO
A bold statement.
I agree, this is slightly better than Black Flag 👍🏻
1:05 Dashawn Jordan… you can tell by the Nike shoes & beanie. I got tricked at 1st & thought it was old skate footage from the 80’s. Vision Psycho Stick reissue sales gonna be soaring soon!
Running WILD in the streets = gently skateboarding and obeying the law to the letter.
From New Wave Theatre LA TV Show. Looks like with skate footage edited in.
Grind them Hollywood stars ✨🤩
Just saw them dudes 68 and still rocking.
Houve uma época em que haviam skatistas de verdade e bandas punk de verdade!!!!
Rest In Peace Peter ivers
They're playing at the Florentine Gardens on Hollywood Blvd. That was from New Wave Theater. Old concert footage from early 80s.
🤘🛹🤘
Just saw them last night so tight and amazing!
I had a chance to The Jerks in Ft. Lauderdale in '88 or '89. I got tossed out by some a-hole bouncer while 7 Seconds opened. They sounded good from the parking lot.
I hope the dudes who grew up in CA and places where there were parks back in the day know how fortunate they were....All I had was cornfields
I love they got Tony and Christian to do the reshoot of this video
I absolutely love that lance skated the old spot from bonesbrigade video show
God the world sucks now
green day a punk band. this proves no
A YT suggested video. How do they know I'm an old punk rocker ! One of my fav tunes 😎
Crossing them off my bucket list in June!
Seen them on the first show of the tour, so fucking epic. 80 songs out of 3 bands in 3 hours 15 minutes including setups. They sounded great, they put on suck a killer show.
THIS. IS. FUCKING. PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am 56 years of age
I am still running wild !
I can keep up with any of you new Schoolers
Circle Jerks set the shit to what Punk Rock is today, The mecca of a style that's not duplicated. 80's 90's 👑🎤🍺
DAGGERS !
My dumbass didn’t realize the skating was filmed was more recently.
song almost two-and-a-half minutes long
I think of that but those songs like Beverly Hills 1 minute long world up my ass one and a half minutes long
Young Keith Morris looks older than old Keith Morris 🤣🤣🤣
I'm skating a Psycho Stick now...with Indys and a big set of Slimeballs.
My high school sound track
Tonight's the night when I go to all the parties down my street
I wash my hair and I kid myself I look real smooth
Look over there (where?)
There, here comes Jeanie with her new boyfriend
They say that looks don't count for much
If so, there goes your proof
Trashin'
My favorite song of all time
I didn't see any Daggers?
I've seen this before, they had Bad Religion on, weird being they would go on to create "EPITAPH" records
0:20 first give away, extra holes the baseplate.
Too bad they used tiktok skaters though… filmed VX style and everything but everyone is skating with fucking nike blazers and those hideous short pants
Thrashin
ah they got an old camera and filmed footage to LOOK old... hence why the footage is all zoomed in and god awful. You think Ty Evans would be above the zoomed in filming trend... but no-- lots of tricks in this video are taking place half way out of frame.
Remember this from the 80's skate movie Thrashin'. Might have been a cover used in the film.
The memories this song brings back with Tony Hawk
Yeah, I can't believe some young people think he is a video game character....
I bought the first thrasher with him on the cover when I was 10 ... I still have it!
#Sk8orDIE !
THRASHIN
Any video with Steve "Bulky" Olson is PuNk RoCk.
Who murdered Peter Ivers?
Thrashin brought me here, great 80$ memories, great soundtrack 😎
Ahhh, man! Why wasn't this included with "My Career As A Jerk"?
That's some primitive boarding
Lucky Lehr was frightening on drums, but the live version of this is way better, you can hear
heineken....was..beter in this days.............cheerssssssssssssss.......................viva .........la..............punk rock..............yo..................................
Gosh dang it! Now I have to go buy a dvd copy of Thrashin’ & one of those Powell Peralta reissues. I failed to receive the punk-rock message & I’m going full consumer! No More RED TAPE!!!
I thought I owned the world when I bought this album way back when.
Beavis and butthead "UHHHUUHHHUHHHUHHHUHUHHHHU!... THESE DUDES ARE COOL!"
brutal
Right On, Trust Records! For putting out this classic 'Skate Rock' masterpiece!

The video was made this year, CJ members are in the skate sections
@@bobbymagoo5136 Yeah, I thought this is an old version too but then I remembered the photos on their Instagram
Hell yea man. This song always makes me wanna shred.
This was great. I noticed the modern day Zander and Keith in some cameos. Fun to watch.
This is my whole childhood in one video🔥
Same for me.. Greetings from France bro ! ;o)
All my old heroes in one place.
Old school skater punks!
We went from fk your feelings to making Barbie movies…….
On March 5, 1985, the Dickies were one of a number of California punk bands to play a very unexpected benefit show; other bands on the bill included the Circle Jerks, the Vandals, and D.I. The show's beneficiaries were the Cypress College Republicans.
Fucking Circle Jerks. What a band. Good Lord
the 48 min mark on Tony Hawk and Jason Ellis podcast Hawk vs wolf.... this esp "Atiba Jefferson Was an OG Tester of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater!" Atiba and the guys talk about this video Atiba directed it and most the skaters were at the group sex cover shoot back in the day...they also purposly tried to use old street moves to make it seem older which is why some dont pick up on its new till the cars...kinda cool
