There's a exhaust shop owner here around my place who doesn't put on any glasses or shield for welding. Old guy. He said he judt estimate the direction he's welding and then close his eyes during the spark. Let the hand control do the magic. Wow 😂 and his work is amazing.

We all know this is written off and this car probably isn’t road legal because of the work he’s done.
I don't think so, this is the right way to repair cars. Car factories in the repair manuals of their models illustrates precisely this tecniques, where to spot weld, where to cut panels, etc. - And naturally provide spare panels. Nowadays these reparations have diminished because of cost of labour, there are necessary many man hours and so is more practical to trash entire car! - but is still done in the case of expensive models or cars which have too many kms and so retain a good value. Here is not showed but of course car has to be checked if wheels angles are on specs and eventually aligned, then car will run as expected.
