Yup I stopped developing and enhancing Copilot long before Microsoft made changes to Windows that affected things like serial ports not being supported. Microsoft’s changes made a lot of applications obsolete. Since I made no money from the software I had no motivation to update for newer OS and interfaces like Bluetooth or Wifi. It was also assumed that people had a Datalogit.
KB, I’ve been around since then. 😂 from SC and mr2-spyder.net… at this point, me and LT are the keepers of everything copilot. And You have no idea how many people ask me for the source code 🤦🏼 to the point where I say I don’t have it, and the only people that do will not ever give it up. Thankfully I made a backup of most of your old ftp site before it was lost to oblivion.
This is an older video, but I'm slightly confused - can this be used as a complete replacement for the DataLogit / FC-Hako (I.E, being able to interface it with FC Edit / CoPilot?)
I came across your videos probably about 12 months ago. I downloaded the co-pilot software immediately. I played around, but never got my PC to talk to my datalogit box. I lost interest for about a year, and then came across your channel again recently. I saw this video and immediately placed an order for the wite box. wish me luck. P.S. you should be getting a commission from wite.
@@chrisflowerusmc YES it works! it took a number of weeks to arrive but it works! first time in years I have been able to connect to my FC. the plug that connects in (like a PS2) was loose so the outer shell spun around and my arrow was on the wrong side, so it took some crampped contorting to get it plugged in under my dash but I got there!
Hey was that Bluetooth module and the usb cable something you already had? For seem reason the Wite device website doesn’t have anything listed for Bluetooth or usb? I can just get them on Amazon but wanted to make sure I can actually use it. Damn, had it for over a year, hoping they didn’t just discontinue them. I should have paid more attention when purchasing 🤦♂️ Also can you make a new update vid of how you’re liking it and if you found which display you like using now that you’ve had it for a while? Thanks man!
us.powertunedigital.com/ This would be the best display for it. Depending on how technical you are, it's possible to compile it from source on an Raspberry pi for free(aside from the RPi). As for the bluetooth and usb, I received both of them from WITE.
Hi Patrick, How do you get the WBO2 signal into FC-edit or Copilot? When using FCHako, we can connect it to AN1/2/3/4 and configure it in FC-edit. However, when I use Wite, I connect the WBO2 signal into the dedicated spot, but I get nothing in FC-edit. How do you solve that problem?
you'll have to play with the inputs a bit to find the correct one. I do not remember which input off the top of my head, but it is available in the software.
Check out protune digital. It's an awesome product. a bit on the higher priced side, but if you're technical, you can compile it from source and put it on a raspberry pi. us.powertunedigital.com/
i also have the Wite device for my PFC, ive been using it solely for the guages, and was impressed with the unit. i am having difficulty connecting to my laptop via either the wifi or usb, as i didnt purchase the cable and opted for the BT adapter. What port would that show up as on FC edit? Thanks for all your videos on copilot theyve been very helpful
I've had mine for some time. As for the developer of it, I do not have any contact with him, but have heard that after an order is placed, it's pretty much radio silence, but the device shows up within a week or two.

Yes it can
Can you sue it to map the PowerFC like the Datalogic?

Hi. This is running for mazda rx7 FD?
Also live tuning?
And how long for pre order?
yes, and my understanding is that the orders take about two weeks for delivery.
thanks for sharing . Is this Wite interface still for sale in 2023? thanks
I believe so
@@PatrickLipp Yea shortly after I saw your video I ordered and received the interface. It works great. Thanks

Just when I was thinking to get rid of my pfc.
Wow, thats nice! Maybe give them a hund to add data stream compatible with RaceChrono and that'll be perfect!

You can find out which port will be used through Device Manager.
Is this device still on sale? I heard from facebook group that no support is available, and Simon (who made the device) didn't answer for my message.
In case you never got any info on it, I ordered mine a about a month ago and it just showed up the other day.

Hi there! Ordered one after watching this videos - would you consider doing a write up or video on how to connect this properly? - for a newbie😂
Unfortunately now we can't order it i think....😒
There was a US vendor at one point. Can’t speak on that now.
Thank you for this!
Glad it was helpful!
Can you tune with it?
you can use it as an interface to connect to a PC to tune with in CoPilot or FCEdit, etc.
Does hako works with realdash?
The fc-hako does not work with RealDash.
