Love the skill and point maximization in the walking stages. Even most who are good at the fights tend to use the electric shield or just blunder through the walking sections. Stripping armor for points as well. This is someone who knows how tired they're going to be around the third loop and that they're going to need those extra men. Oh hell, is the no extra men dip switch on? True dedication to skill, then. I could feel that heart-wrenching, sinking feeling as if it was me when you lost the gold knight fight in loop 2. Resting on the third loop's mace giant. I could feel that too. Still don't know what you're trying to exploit on the arrow girl with the long wait. Just points? Trying to catch the pause after an optimal block? Missing the mace on loop 4 to the stab animation was a brutal hit to the run. I could feel that frustration so keenly. Can really see the skill on display against the skeleton alternating between high shots for the kill and straight shots to keep him off you. Well played, Gladiator!

Also It seems you can't destroy a shield, anyone's shield, in this game, only reduce it to a small size, it's indestructible when it gets small enough. Which kind of begs the question if it can't become useless/non existent why let it be damageable? This game has so many special features and upgrades, it's amazing! My compliments to the developers/programmers! Invincible temporarily if you hit fast enough, an energy shield if you move your shield fast enough, picking up blades fired at you upgrades YOUR weapon, can break some of your enemies weapons, you can take on your enemies weapons. it definitely deserves praise! Woah, didn't know it was possible to kill the final boss that fast!
This game’s audio is quite odd in the fact it utilizes the YM2203’s SSG for music and FM for sfx (and some percussion) instead of the other way around, like some other companies like Capcom and Taito

I used to play this game at the local fast food joint. This game was in almost every urban place in Chicago that had arcade games.
