my sis met bruce on 9/1/11 right behind her yoga studio in newton, ma. he was bringing his son to BC for the year, my 70 year old mom spotted him,, and he wsa as cool as you can imagine, took pics, hugged and kissed, i mean whio else but the Boss is that cool?? Bruce, you are the one. Thanks for the picture, we will treasure that for ever.
Best Old Rcok song Ever to dance to in the early 60,s. Was at the worlds Biggest Beatles Festival last night in Louisville, Ky. All of us screamed when this song was sung. We are also all seniors in our 60.s with silver hair but can still jam like no other Generation ever did. We all sang all the words, that The Isley Brothers song who wrote this song. I still have my 45 record by them. Then the Beatles re recorded but it was not near as much fun to dance to as The Isley Brothers.
Happy Birthday to Ashleigh My Grandaughter who will be 13 this week. I have left this song to Her to keep the dancing going, as it is her Grandmas Favorite song of all times. I will be watching You Ash from where ever I am for ever ~ Your a Great dancer, Love Grandma
What a great way to end a show! I hadn't heard Bruce cover this one before! The whole time I was watching I was thinking, "Bruce and Max look so YOUNG!" Then I remembered - SO DID I in 1988! And 1985, when I first saw them Live at the Continental Arena (Meadowlands) in "The Swamps of Jersey". Ahhh... GOOD TIMES!
@iBolks La Bamba was my second favorite song to dance to , in the early 60,s You can not beat that sond & TWIST & SHOUT. Not the same at all. I hope both songs keep people danicng the way we all did ~
Yes I was there too... It was so strange to experience this song live after listening to it so many times on bootlegs. The e street band was so loose that night (the best of the 8 shows I've been so far!
It does! Actually, I think there is a version of this from Argentina during the Amnesty International tour where the crowd starts to sing it, its awesome!
Wow! Even the Boss was inspired by 'the Beatles'!It's incredible to see Bruce covering the Beatles. They both represent two legacies of music, so different, yet none of them being less significant.
Bruce see U soon in Lousivlle, Please sing this in Louisville at the Yum center Nov 3rd., One of my favoite clips of U with this song ! U Rock Bruce !!
@maaanddeuta Twist and Shout was the Isley Brothers. It's also one of the most covered songs of the '60s. Get back to me when Bruce does a Beatles song.
10:22 long....I wouldn't mind if it would have gone another 10:22. Anybody else disagree? The Boss pours his heart out when he sings- especially on stage.
For your information, Bruce's favorite band of all-time are The Beatles! He always said it was seeing The Beatles that made him become a musician! I'm a huge Springsteen fan, but I don't understand how you can say that the greatest rock band that ever was are crap! And how do you expect them to make any more recordings - when two of the members are now in a better place!
This was my first Bruce show. Will remember it for the rest of my life. The Boss rules.
Danke für dieses grandiose Video !!! "Der Boss ist und bleibt der Boss"

Tihs song was written by Phil Medley and Bert Russell. It was originally recorded by the Top Notes.

@maaanddeuta Twist and Shout was the Isley Brothers. It's also one of the most covered songs of the '60s. Get back to me when Bruce does a Beatles song.

Exactly. This song was written and recorded by Americans before The Beatles heard it.
este hombre es bien lindo y tiene una voz preciosa !

Wrong,its Mott the Hoople.
It's more energy in this song nowadays.
a;ways love the music
Bruuuuuuuuce ..... :-)
Nice cover, Bruce makes it his own.
He played this on Dec. 9th 1980 at The Spectrum in Philadelphia the night after John Lennon was murdered as a tribute to him
bruce is one handsome man!
The stadium breaker!
i just love him... he is the best
coooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!
The Boss.... Il numero 1...
Bruce...
NO ONE does this better than The Beatles :)
Twist and Shout with La Bamba strings?
Pure Boss.
he did the exact same thing at the rds dublin on sunday last
Yes, I'm sure that a few of the "Max Weinberg Seven", BESIDES drummer Max, played in this show.
Like his twist on it.
memories :D
If I could rub a magic lamp and get one wish, I'd be his backup singer.
Thumbs up for Beatles version
The fucking boss
eu amo as musicas dele
Pero la versión por excelencia, que trascendió a todo el mundo hasta hoy, fue la de The BEATLES.
I love you.
The thumbnail for it is the 4th one on the right - Twist and Shout '88.
I find it cool that Springsteen sing this in his own way rather than just copying the original.
è troppo sexy...troppo!
He seems to be joking...not singing! Superb!
Bruce in the 80's.....sigh.....he just makes me wanna take my clothes off...total bed candy!
