This will be a fascinating look back for sligo residents in one hundred years time when we have all departed for Sligo In The Sky!!!!! Though one or two of us may hang around to see it one more time . Can't promise to be here though
Most confusing thing about Ireland, coming from the States? They drive on the left, but walk sidewalks on the right. Why? Oh. And parking. Park on the side of the road in either direction that suits you.
because you are facing the oncoming traffic closest to the side of the road you are walking on, and it's not coming unsighted to pedestrians from behind.
Thanks 92... Flights from overseas are definitely on hold, but my dream to come to Ireland is "in the cloud". It won't happen overnight, but it will happen. And thank you for thumbs up on Sligo or Ballina. Will give it some research. Take care.

We are trying to decide where to stay … Sligo or Ballina. We go in May 20. Any ideas?
Im from Sligo it always rains and we will probably be in lock down
Sligo, definitely. It has much more character and history. It is beautiful during spring/summer. Explore the entire county, if you can still travel.
