Historic Enniscorthy CO Wexford

Ireland, Today we are in Enniscorthy town in CO Wexford. What do we know about Ireland? Here in Ireland there are many pubs. In Enniscorthy you can visit nice pub Vntique Tavern. A pub which is over 600 years old. That is nearly the oldest pub in Ireland. How old is Enniscorthy do you think? Just wait..... over 1000 years. CO Wexford this is the South East of Ireland. Leinster. Enniscorthy castel in the middle of the town making this place amazing. This castle was builded in 1190 and fully destroyed in 1569 and rebuilded in 1590. St Aidans Castle. Very beautiful castle from 1809. For constructions was used stones from a nearby ruined Franciscas monastery,
Vinegar Hill. One of the main places of the Enniscorthy. Its a beautiful place and has a nice view. But it wasnt always like that. In 1798 20000 man, woman and children faced 10000 members of the Crown forces in a battle that lasted only four hours but left 1500 dead in a county distraught.
