It’s sad that it’s ending, but that end is in the safest hands. This is definitely one of the better modern comics outside of Marvel. It’s basically an enhancement of the original series, with story and substance to the characters, original Ranger designs, and even tackling a bit of the Pre-Zyuranger stuff a bit.
Btw Dosm, in the official Boom Studios news site’s press release, they say that there’s more comic announcements coming soon including at SDCC. Nearly every article has omitted this, it’s really annoying. Ranger Academy is still going too
I kind of expect PR to someday be integrated into the Energon Universe if Skybound Entertainment if that were a possibility (even if other Hasbro IPs won't be involved atm)
Okay, NOW I'm upset. The MMPR comics literally got me into reading comics. I wouldn't have a collection if it wasn't for this book. I hope they're gearing up for something new, but if this is truly the end I hope it ends with a bang 😢
The article did stated that fans can look forward to “exciting” announcements from Boom Studios at SDCC this year, so hopefully something could happen maybe moving towards a new season like Zeo.
I’m devastated by this news, the show ending sucks, the reboot season in limbo sucks, Hasbro cancelling the lightning collection horrible but this… the comics have been the shining example of what the franchise could be if handled maturely and with love. This is the “Darkest Hour” for PR fans 😢
@@rileyhunter3347while the MMPR comics is ending, it’s never stated that Boom Studios is losing the license to the Power Rangers franchise, given that it’s confirmed that they’re announcing something at SDCC.
Well it was a great run. I hope they do return at some point. It be nice to maybe get tie in comics to the new universe or something similar. Or if they want to keep up with this universe, I know other seasons don't sell but it be cool if they did something were it's MMPR title but they adapt other seasons like Zeo.
If the comics continued, it be nice if they made adaptions up to In Space, or at least a comic adaption of S3. Aside from that, I don't see any point in making a reboot of MMPR. Unless darkest hour is like an infinite crisis situation. But even then, you can only retell MMPR so many times. Now if its a MMPR Next Gen comic/continuation of Once & Always? That might be something worth looking into. But who really knows what beyond that horizon.
Im sick of mmpr but i still want them to do season 3, then Zeo, then turbo, then space, and just keep going. Do everything. In order. FIX MEGAFORCE PLEEEASE!
If the comics come back I hope we get a Samurai comic series. I mean there’s a ton of lore along with interesting characters and ideas to play around with. Not to mention I would like to see them handle Lauren’s character
I think a reboot where they kind of tease it as just MMPR again but like this one wildly diverge early on is the best way for this franchise to continue. It allows for the iconography to exist and continue but gives enough space to change whatever they want.
Like I’m so confused with teh announcement since there was that other one at the very end about “more PR news to come at SDCC” so like is the series actually ending or not? Or is there a new book coming that’s technically a reboot or something else? Either way, I’m sad that they’re not adapting season 3 in some way. Everytime either the toys or the anything other PR media gets close to season 3, they decide to end it. Lol. I’m still bitter that we never got a Legacy Shogun Megazord.
Yeah I think I would like to see them do at least the ninja ark for the main mighty Morphin and hopefully get to zeo but since the company is named boom comics I think I would like to see them do also American adaptation of boonboomger or even a crossover between over sabanera franchises
Man you people still using that word. The word woke is so overused it's getting old. There's nothing woke about the Boom Comics Power wer Rangers. And you people just use that word when's something is bad or something you don't like. It's really getting old and stale.
@@terrencehill502 making gay power rangers is woke. Making Trini red ranger over Zack is woke. They spend like 3 years trying to make Zack Michaelangelo so they can say see he's not a leader like Trini. Love Ryan Parrot but he was wrong for that
Really hope this ends up being a volume reboot like TMNT is doing. This in one of the very few comics I look forward to and actively keep up on. But it would truly be a crime if they end this yet keep that boring af Ranger Academy going.
Darkest hour is the end of season 2 so are they skipping 3 and going to zeo or making it a new series or will the comics be in the same universe with the DOA reboot
It honestly confused me having green and white rangers at same time. Like, move on - white took over green. That’s why it felt more fan fiction to me at least.
I want it to continue but have a different company cover a different season all while tying it to the events from BOOM MMPR, give us other seasons in the grid prior to the shatter and post shatter
This video is very misleading and shouldn't have even been posted. It should definitely be taken down. Boom is not going to stop making PR comics. It's just the titled series "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" that is ending. They've done this twice before already. From their press release: (I can't reply with the link for some reason) "Ahead of this milestone issue, fans can pick up the final issue of the main series, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #122, a week earlier on July 24, 2024. Additionally, fans can look forward to many exciting POWER RANGERS announcements from BOOM! Studios in the coming months, including exciting plans for San Diego Comic-Con."
Dammit, of course it's ending right when we would be moving to Zeo with all the references and hints to the crystal being the new power... Meh, why am i not surprised
Power Rangers comics aren't ending. The current arc/book name is, it will continue or reboot in a new form it is not going away. Everyone stop freaking out. Personally, I hope the next run is finally worth reading and, the MMPR oroboros we ride on actually has character writing and, do people shit like play videos games, date people, deal with grades. None of this pointless end of the world bullshit, not every arc has be a world ender.
The Boom Comics have been successful it has good writing and good characters regardless if just MMPR. The comics is better than any recent Sentai season

I want you to discussing which company handle PR as franchise better between disney & hasbro. I want you to compare disney PR seasons & hasbro PR seasons in term of writting quality.
BOOM! has stated that apparently they will have some announcements down the road, including at SDCC. So it may survive after all, in some form.
I hope it survives but what about ranger academy
@@rileywelsh8973definitely still going to continue, no reason to believe otherwise

it has no choice but to end since the hard franchise wide reboot will cut all ties with everything that came from super sentai

That's sad the Boom Comics have been the best thing out of this franchise for years but all things must come to an end
reminds me of when IDW ended their first run of Transformers
Power Ranger Zeo next comic book! from Boom! Studio
I wonder 🤔 if they do go to zeo will it be some time change stuff since all this stuff been going on especially since battle of the grid.
