Thank you for the fabulous series on Sweden, and your fantastic music specially with your fiddle! Great tune with Marina on singing! You are a great channel for us sailor fan's. Love from Sweden ❤😊💐
I appreciated that you were brave enough to admit in your video that you were having a bad day. Most people I think would leave that out but it adds to the realism of your videos. Sailing life isn't just good times and fair winds.
I have been watching you for years And enjoying you very much my 1st time comment But MaIA you are a true artist in Your music video composition narration I enjoy the story of lives and adventures
The cars is called EPA Traktor. (Today calledA-traktor) A relic from ww2, when farmers was allowed to gear down normal cars, to use as a sort of tractor. Today, you can get a simpler drivers license when turning 15, for those. Max speed is 30km/hr. But many is faster than that.
A perfect violin tune for that mooring. A bit mystical, A bit melancholy. This whole Scandinavian Summer series has been amazing, your best work yet. Oh, I posted too soon. Another lovely violin snippet in the woods, mirroring your words about change. Thank you!
I'm as snug as a bug myself Every Friday night after I have showered I crawl in bed fleshly shaved and ready to watch your show I absolutely loved this show Thank you
Why throughout this series have you been thanking me for watching? If anything I should be thanking you for making these! Of course I’m not complaining, but these episodes have been so beautiful that I think y’all deserve some thanks for your work. Your videos have caught the summer nights and magical seas of western Sweden in a way that seems almost impossible in its quality. I love how you can create beautiful episodes no matter where you are - From Sweden to Idaho to the Netherlands, your creative talent seems to know no bounds. It seems that Magic Carpet II is coming soon, and I can’t wait for the stories she’ll bring. They say it takes a village to raise a child, but it evidently also takes a village to raise up a boat. Can’t wait for what’s next for this channel. Fair winds and following seas, -J
I usually don’t rewatch the episodes on UA-cam ( having seen the on Patreon) but my 7 year old fiddle playing granddaughter (who’s visiting us here in the Caribbean aboard Zeitgeist our Hallberg-Rassy 64) has discovered you. She has a 5 year old younger brother and longs for an older sister like you. She’s captivated by the episodes where you play with yourself. You’ve got a big fan in Alicia. Be well guys!
get a feeling of youthful summer weeks I spent in New Hampshire in a cottage by the lake. Thanks for bringing me back to a peaceful time, and how lovely you get to experience such days in your prime, with each other. Carry on and stay the course.
You are both very special people. We love your episodes. Your sadness in Autumn and the prospect of leaving such a magical summer is understandable. Thank you for tugging at our heart strings again. Beautiful.
You didn't miss a study visit at Fantasi Yachts where you passed under the bridge? They have built fantastically beautiful sailboats with absolutely wonderful craftsmanship.
The orange triangle means slow moving vehicles. It was introduced during the war when trucks and ordinary cars were restricted so that they would only go 30 km/h. they were registered as tractors (Epa traktor) and could then be brought forward when one turned sixteen. The regulations are still in place and many young people are building these vehicles. I'm not a sailor but I enjoy following your adventures. Wishing you good wind
Your friend Milena is sweet and clear when talking about life on board. Thank you for sharing so much of the experience of the archipelago, the landscape, bays, peaceful nooks. Sweden seems to treasure it's life and landscape, resisting overdevelopment.
Maya, never mind about the comments! I am sure that over 99% of them are very positive! And the ones that are not... aren't worth reading! Your sailing channel is the most poetic on YT. All of us who watch it regularly are enthralled with your wonderful moments and the lovely music that you feature. Thank you! Aladino! They are "Canada" geese! Not Canadian! And... what! were you trying to say with that comment anyway? I know, just of bit of couple play! I laughed! Thanks for your interjections of humour.
Bless you both. I really have found it lovely to share a little bit of your summer sail. So relaxing! Your playing just inspiring. We are really looking forwards to what comes next. However you both have given us a lovely gift, inspiring! Rita and Malkuta XXX
Speaking of Cape George 36, in real time on the GGR, Kirsten has inherited the lead in her CG due to Simon’s Hydrovane failure and him declaring himself Chichester Class, out of the official running to win. During a GGR video, McIntyre stated that demand for Cape George 36 is now so great, the prices of the few available hulls has risen sharply and that there is now talk of restoration of the CG36 molds to build new hulls for folks looking to compete in the next GGR.
A senior who has followed your journeys for a long time. Watch your various adventures every week. Recent episode with you and your friend Marina creating the music video was touchingly emotional. Two young women and a fusion of their creative talents - awesome!
😂 the strange cars with triangle on the back are "EPA traktor" , it is basically a moped on four wheels with drivers 15-16 years old. They are super annoying in the traffic! 😅/ Ahoy from Sweden
A wonderful video, Maya your violin sounds just as beautiful when you are in blue jeans as when your in a dress. Hope that your summer of sailing gets you all keyed up for boat work on "Magic Carpet II", looking forward to all that you have to offer.
Thank you for a very nice clip and beautiful music. The cars with the red triangel are called EPA-Tractors or A-Tractors (they are changed in a way they shouldn't go faster than 30 or 40 km/h and with some other changes. You are allowed to drive the 30:ish type from 15 years of age and a moped driving license, the other one from 16 with a tractor driving license... Those "tractors" have quickly grown in number last years and there have been some really bad accidents with them.
I have been loving your videos and have been watching entirely out of sequence, some Magic Carpet II, some Magic Carpet, some Magic Carpet I, some refit videos, some sailing, some with wonderful violin music with wonderful effects. Thank you. Then I reflect on my own miniscule sailing experiences. Thank you some more for the serenity in your stories.
Beautiful scenery thank you for sharing. I am happy to see you playing the violin. My dad played the violin also. Have a good day and stay safe.❤🎉💙🍁🌷🍍🦋⭐🏵🍎🎉
I have really enjoyed your journey. This is my first year not doing any sailing for at least 40 years. However as you say, all good things come to an end. My body has let me know enough is enough and I have a myriad of memories to trawl through. So thank you and I wish you good luck and wonderful sailing next year next year. Adrienne
I always look forward to your episode on Fridays. Your production is the best of the UA-cam videos I subscribe to. I can’t wait until you start to rebuilt of Magic Carpet II again. ❤
I can't imagine you " in a bad mood" you are a very beautiful spirit. Thanks for a magic summer of sailing with you both. See you back in MC11, the adventure continues...
I kind of feel bad. You guys are having a great time using a sailboat to sail, and I keep thinking "When are you going back to Washington and getting back to work on the Cape George. You deserve the vacation, just selfishly, I want to see the big boat get all the love it needs and get back to work, too, lol.
While I enjoy the building series now I see what we will miss over your winter. It is February and I'm sure a lot has happened with MC2 but spring is coming and you are much closer to resuming his kind of video. You did really well in stretching the summer out for so long and making it beautiful and very interesting. Great job you two. See you next Friday.
I have been following you. The bad flows of the Rhone I remember and the muddy canal to the Rhine. Thanks for this. Yes the swedish west coast is nice. But you are missing out on the Stocjholm archipelago. Good luck whatever you do. Life is always going on.
Another awesome video! The scenery is absolutely stunning with your choice of music blends perfectly. Your weekly videos are so refreshing and enjoyable to watch. I love sitting here in the mornings with my coffee being drawn in to your adventures on the Sea. Great job you two! See you next week.
Thank you for a lovely rendition of The Sleeping Tune, Maya. I know it's originally a pipe tune, but I really like it on the violin. It's such a beautiful melody.
You never disappoint no matter the mood. It's refreshing to see that you include real life in your videos. As always love the violin music. Can't wait for next Friday. Safe travels
Hi from New Zealand. I always start my day with a cup of tea in bed and catching on you tubers who I follow. When I get a notice that you have a new clip I can't wait to watch it. You have a knack of capturing all that is of interest to the watchers and I am enjoying being with you on your travels and look forward to the progress on MC2. Sweden is indeed a lovely place and I always felt safe when I visited to attend taining sessions our company put on for us. The "Swedes" are very friendly and cheerful folk. Cheers or skol as they say in Sweden. Ian.
I really enjoy listening to how you describe your adventures. Your voice is so soothing and calming, and the way you enunciate your words in your narrative is beautiful. Please keep it up, and peace to you both!
I thought the coast of Sweden would be fjords with huge mountains...but it glacial rocks worn smooth and just a few meters high ...pretty cool ..thanks you intrepid travelers ....

A pleasantly, relaxing sailing adventure. Perfect for an early Sunday morning, just waking up with a cup of delicious coffee. On a side note: I do look forward to hearing you play your violin, so soothing and beautiful.
I really appreciate the "realness" that you bring to your videos. It's ok to wake up on the wrong side of the bed, and I love that you shared your processing of it. Thank you for sharing the beauty of a part of the world I most likely wouldn't get to see otherwise!

Great combination of video and haunting violin. Keep on navigating life with all that involves.
Another well made video! An extra thanks from me because I’ll be sailing from Oslo to Denmark this spring and now know what to expect.
I always enjoy your journey so thank you for sharing your story. You 2 are amazing and you inspire me to try and live a fuller life. 💕
...snug as a bug in a rug brings back so many memories ❤️🇨🇦
you captured a Scandinavian Summer feeling very well.
Magnificant. Thank you for your efforts. Best wishes from Seattle
I liked the short, storm and ship animation.

Lovely tune by Gordon Duncan sleeping tune ❤

Thank you so much Anders!

I could FEEL the sadness, excitement, trepidation and mental preparation you were undergoing. A masterpiece of an episode. ❤
Wonderful, many thanks for taking us along with you.
I say this everytime but I,m looking forward to the big boat work. This trip is interesting but I like watching people working on boats!
Another excellent show!
Thank you for doing such an amazing job.
The cold of a Northern Europe / Canadian winter always scares me, but I think I could cope with the summer it's very pretty up there, but Aladino's clothing tells me it's still very wintery up there in the summer (writing this on a lovely cool 30ºC day here)
June and July in Scandinavia are absolutely gorgeous. August feels more like Autumn.
The place you are in seems a sailing paradise. I always love to hear the violin. Thank you for this episode.
Magic Carpet has become my go - to place when the Ill‐mannered outside world gets me down .
You have a way of finding the joy of just being alive in the little things that we all encounter but do not see in our everyday lives. Your Scandinavian holiday has confirmed my own preferences for Europe and the Mediterranean as my favourite playgrounds for adventures in çulture.
Thanks!
Perfect Friday, Thank you Maya and Aladino. The story is changing but that's Ok and good.
Can't help but recognize that you introduced me to Kirsten"s adventure on the Cape George 36. I've been following GGR and rejoice that she's in First Place! Onto Cape Horn and back to the Atlantic and home. Great boat and sailor.

A bmw 3 series registered as a tractor and driven no faster than 40km/h…🧐
@@DaleNewnham It is modified..
yes, it's a remnant farming days when young people needed to be able to drive tracktors from/to their family farms, thats why you can get a permit to drive these from the early age of 15, they do have some limitations, some needs to have stiff rear axel (no suspension allowed) some has to have two gearboxes that limits their speed to 30 km/h , some needs to have a pickup bed.

The violin, the scenery, it was like I was there, Great job guys ! 🇦🇺
End of boat time in the beautiful outdoors is always hard. With great purpose at least you are working on your project rather than others.
Visually stunning and beautiful scenery thanks for sharing another great video 👍👍⛵️⛵️⛵️⛵️💕💕
